HE TRAINS YOU TO FACE LIFE

2 Samuel 22:35 He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. (NIV)

Three things God has given us to live a successful life throughout our time here on earth; His Word, His Name and His Spirit. But if we are not trained to live in them we won't be the success He desires.

Kind David said in our theme scripture "He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze." Back in David's days he went to war, physical war with other nations, and he said God trained him to fight and to bend a bow of bronze. In our day today, we don't go out for war as did David. But there are confrontations of life which are not physical combat but a fight to be a success for God with Gospel of Christ. He trains us to face them and win.

You have to be trained to face life in order win, and only God can train you. A lot of people are scared of life. You would notice that through their talk. They talk fear, failing and death. But God trains you through His word by His Spirit to live by His Name and be a success in life.

As you give attention to the Holy Spirit He will train you to be a success in life through the word and living in His Name. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

Lord you train me through your Word by your Spirit to live in your Name and be a success. Through your wisdom you have given me strategies to face life and win all the time. Hallelujah!

IT'S A MATTER OF TIME

Ecclesiastes 3:1,11 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: He has made everything beautiful in its time... (NIV)

There are things in life that would not come to you until its time in spite of your desire and effort. Some things are time factor in life and until it's that time it won't happen, if peradventure it does happen it won't last because it's premature; it happened before its time.

You might think you are failing in certain things and find reasons to back your claim; maybe your age, longevity of your pursuit of it but there is a set time for it. Maybe it's not yet time for you to start your own business, maybe you need more experience first. Maybe it's not yet time for you to marry, maybe!

There are things that only happen in life when it's their season. Maybe it's not the season of what you are pressing for. Maybe the time is not yet right for that job promotion, it may be that you can't handle it well as at now. Observe the season before you keep pressing. Don't press for what will come prematurely.

Anything that comes to you in its time comes beautiful. God makes all things beautiful in its time. What it is time for that job, business, ministry, marriage it will be beautiful. It's a matter of time. Praise God!

CONFESSION

Father I am glad that you make all things beautiful in its time for me. My marriage, business, family, ministry, job is beautiful in its time. Amen.

REMEMBER WHERE HE BROUGHT YOU

Exodus 23:9 "Do not oppress a foreigner; you yourselves know how it feels to be foreigners, because you were foreigners in Egypt. (NIV)

God instructed the Israelites not to oppress or ill-treat the foreigners living among them. He didn't say much, He said "you yourselves know how it feels to be foreigners, because you were foreigners in Egypt."

God wanted them to remember that. A lot of times we don't remember where God picked us from, what we were and how we were. Some of us become arrogant and proud and put people into what they themselves were delivered from. The Israelites would have ill-treated the foreigners among them if God had not reminded them that they themselves were foreigners in Egypt.

We know what it is to be cheated, betrayed or oppressed but when some of us are privileged to get into a place of power we forget so soon and do the same to others.
None of us was born born again, but when we see sinners; the people we label sinners we judge and sentence them to hell.

1 Corinthians 6:8,10-11 Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers and sisters. nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. AND THAT IS WHAT SOME OF YOU WERE. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Before you ill-treat, criticize or judge anybody remember what you were. Remember! God saved you and brought you this far. Remember! Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Precious Father I am grateful for bringing me out of the way of darkness and destruction unto the path of life and light. This is not because of any good thing I did but for your mercy. I see others the way you see them, I refuse to be a critic or judge and I refuse to ill-treat or oppress anyone in Jesus' Name. Amen.

GOD CONSCIOUSNESS

Jeremiah 51:50 Ye that have escaped the sword, go away, stand not still: remember the LORD afar off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind. (KJV)

Jeremiah the Prophet gave this instruction to the Israelites who were in captivity in Babylon. He said in essence "though you are far from Jerusalem the city of God, and where His temple is, remember the Lord and let Jerusalem come into your mind."
Though they were in captivity far away from their land there was the expectation for them to keep Jerusalem in mind. To live with the consciousness of Jerusalem because there was the temple of God; God's house.

Often times the Israelites who were far off from Jerusalem would pray looking towards Jerusalem. Daniel in the book of Daniel would open his window in the direction to Jerusalem and prayed. They had that consciousness. Have a consciousness of God.
Today we don't have to look towards Jerusalem or be conscious of a particular place or temple but God-inside consciousness. Be God-inside conscious. Even though a lot of Christians believes that God lives in them not many of them are God conscious. But it is the consciousness that makes the difference and produce the supernatural.

God literally lives in you with all of Himself, He left nothing out. All of God resides in you, be God-inside conscious. When you pray don't look to heaven for something to happen from there but look within you for it will happen from your inside out. The greater One lives in you and works things out from within you. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
My mind stays on God and He keeps me in His perfect peace. I set the Lord God always on my mind as my meditation, I let His word come into my mind. I am God-inside conscious, for greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. Hallelujah!

HE LEADS YOU BASED ON YOUR MATURITY

Exodus 13:17 When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, "If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt." (NIV)

Reading this above scripture it's amazing that God would lead the Israelites through the longest route even though they were in a hurry to get away from the Egyptians. God is more interested in the process and durability than quick results. There was a short road to the promised land yet He led them through the longest road where there was the red sea because of their level of maturity.

God said to Himself, "If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt." Because they were not matured enough. But with the red sea on that long route they couldn't go back to Egypt even when they desired to. They suffered through that long route not because God desired that for them but because of their maturity.

There are things God cannot commit to you based on your level of maturity. The more mature you become in the walk the stronger and wiser you become also, and through that you find things easier.
God leads you based on your level of maturity. What God ask someone else to do might be forbidden for you to do. That's why in your walk with God you shouldn't try to copy others, you might fail that way. He leads you uniquely based on your own maturity.

At times He may allow you to go through a long road instead of a shorter one because you may lose some things on that path. So grow up some more so He can trust you with more responsibilities and opportunities. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Holy Spirit thank You for always leading me on the path of righteousness as you will and deem fit for me. More than ever I yield myself to follow your leading, and to grow up some more to be fit to handle more responsibilities, in Jesus' Name.

UNSPEAKABLE JOY

1 Peter 1:8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: (KJV)

The Christian life is a life of joy; an unspeakable joy. But not every Christian experience this joy in their life even though it's meant to be experienced. There is the love walk and faith walk which triggers this joy.

The Bible says "Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: -1 Peter 1:8. Joy unspeakable results from your expression of love for the Lord, and your walk of faith in His Word.

There are Christians who talk about the Love of the Lord for them, and also profess in words their love for Him but their actions don't portray it. There is a dimension of joy you can only experience if you express your love for the Lord in action and walk in His word, that joy is unspeakable and full of glory.
When things happen in your favour, when things are going well for you it is easy to be happy but unspeakable joy transcends that, it is the glow of the Spirit working through you which fills you with joy and glory. This joy and glory causes things to happen in your favour and subject circumstances to your good.

God wants this kind of joy for you. He wants it to be your daily experience and expression. You get yourself into it by loving; giving yourself and possesions for His work, and walking in His word. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Thank You Holy Spirit for helping me to love the Lord and to believe in Him though I have not seen Him, by which I am filled with joy unspeakable and full of glory, affecting and effecting my life to be effective for the Kingdom in Jesus' Name. Amen.
