Deuteronomy 8:1 NIV
Be careful to follow every command I am giving you today, so that you may live and increase and may enter and possess the land the Lord promised on oath to your ancestors.

Deuteronomy 8:3 NIV
He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.

Matthew 4:1-4 NIV
Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Since this is true the questions we must ask are these:

1) How can a believer know that what one hears are what the Lord has said or is saying per time?

2) How can believers live by every word thàt comes from the mouth of the Lord none can see with the physical eyes?

In this Part 1 of our study we shall answer question No. 1: How can a believer know that what one hears are what the Lord has said or is saying per time.
First, God is both a Spirit and Living being with the full characeristics of living beings especially the ability to speak and communicate meaningfully. His plans, purpose and will to those who hear Him.

- He speaks in many ways like voicing out what's in His mind for us to hear and know
The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. [4] When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. He also speaks audibly and directly to a person's recreated human spirit. 1Samuel19: 12-13, John 10: 3-4

- He speaks through His prophets and other godly ministers as inspired by the Holy Spirit who lives in them. 2Peter 1: 19-21

- He speaks through believers preaching and teaching of God's word. Acts 20: 27, 2Timothy 2: 2, 2Timothy 4: 2

- He also speaks through visions, dreams and nautral occurrences. Job 33: 14-18, Romans 1: 18-20

- He speaks through Jesus the risen Christ. Hebrews 1:1-2

- He speaks through the written word of God that lives and abides with us. Deuteronomy 6: 1-2, Deuteronomy 8: 1-5, Joshua 1:8, Proverbs 3: 1-2, 2Peter 1: 19, John 6: 63, 2Timothy 2: 14-17, Hebrews 4: 12-13. Today, the written word of God comes in both hard and soft copies. This is one way God allows and ensures the written word is handy and available to all and not scarce as it was in the days of Eli
To live is more than just breathing in and out but includes having prolonged days on earth, prosperity, being a blessing to your generation, abounding in doings God's will, good health and peace within and without.

It is by our hearing and doing what He says that we truly live

Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God,

Beloved of God! You can in the name of Jesus engage both the forces of praying out God's word and your creative imagination in getting prayer result . Think about this in line with these scriptures: Ephesians 3: 20, Hebrews 1:3/Psalm 107: 20. Love you all

TOPIC: ACCEPTED IN THE BELOVED
SCRIPTURES: Genesis 4: 7, Acts 10: 34-35, Ephesians 1: 6

PREAMBLE
Everyone needs to be accepted. However, sometimes one feels rejected, not accepted and not wanted. There are many predisposing conditions to not being accepted.
Not being accepted has its consequences on those being so affected.
In this study we shall discuss all of the above proffering solution to the negative consequences of rejection. At the same time we shall learn how to be accepted by God the Almighty Father of love and light.

> ACCEPTED: MEANING
To be accepted is to be valued, received, regarded favourably, to be believed, supported and validated.
Note here that the opposite of accepted is rejection, refused, turn down, etc.

> NEED TO BE ACCEPTED
Goggle explanation of the word 'accepted' has it that "feeling accepted is a basic psychological need that can have a profound impact on a person's emotional well-being and mental health."
Also at creation God didn't plan that each person remain aloof and alone. Even in making us, one can say God worked inclusively with His Son and the Holy Spirit (i.e. His different personality expressions as the triune God) to create the world and make mankind in His image and likeness. Genesis 1: 1-2, 27, John 1: 1-3, Colossians 1: 16.

NATURAL CONDITIONS TO BEING ACCEPTED
The conditions that shall be looked at here are purely natural with little or no spiritual input to our lives.
1) Family Background: naturally, people accept others into their lives based on their family background or lineage. This tendency is even more prominent in the choice of who to marry and who to make friends with. May I humbly submit that though it is good to check out someone's family background when making lasting choices, we must remember the following:
* a good marriage is Not predicated on a person's family background or lineage. Those who live by the word of God are having good and happy marriages oooo.
* Chosing a friend or spouse or even business partner strictly based on family background is being judgmental or punitive. Consider this: what if that particular person is now truly born again and living righteous?
* Please let's judge (if we must at all) and relate with people based on their practical relationship with and commitment to Jesus Christ and the word of God.
Sometimes one may even come from a family with good reports but your parents don't like them. Again this must be dealt with wisely and inconjuction with the leading of the Holy Spirit and the word of God.

2) Social & Economic Status: not many people are privileged to be born into families with high social status or have attained high social and economic status. One can grow into a high social status with time all things being equal. Let us learn like Jesus Christ our Saviour to accept people regardless of their social status. Check out the social background of His 12disciples, the women who attended to his needs plus those who received healings and miracles from their encounters with Him, etc. Matthew 4: 18-22, Luke 8: 1-3, 1Corinthians 1: 26-28. He made unlearned and timid men to become bold and be the leaders and elders of the church in Jerusalem, Acts 4: 13.
In essence do not be discriminatory but you may relate with people of all social and economic standing. However, like Jesus Christ be mindful to make those of low social and economic status to become better like He did. Do so by empowering them first with the word of life, academically, economically, etc. Marry a person irrespective of social and economic status because you love and accept him or her according to God's will. Doing otherwise can be limiting ooo. Social and economic levels are subject to change my dear.

3) Educational/Literacy Status: everyone would not go through formal education but they can still be accepted. In a church setting for instance, their spiritual gifts and talents can distinguish them as they serve God and people. Let's be mindful of this and encourage them accordingly. In relationships, there are no hard and fast rules as long as one is in God's will and there is understanding and mutual respect. Educated and not so literate people have their values/worth and this can be harness positively for both corporate and self development. Yours truly once served in a committee back in my official workplace with people who were already in the directorate cadre while I was just a level 9 officer. My inputs was well received because I was also heading a vital unit. I urge us to intentionally identify, train, coach and mentor people into significance. Accept them especially those willing to learn. This is what I do as a teacher of God's word in the body of Christ.

4) Sexual Stance: I know of a lady who said she cannot marry a man she has not had s*x with because she needs to know 'how capable he is'. Though she was entitled to her opinion that does not change God stance on fornication and adultery.
Beloved s*xual purity is still the acceptable norm. Period!
Anyone who does not accept to marry you as a virgin or a repented Holy believer is not worth the do. Let no one put you under s*xual pressure of any sort.
Interestingly, there are still many people and cultures in the world that still value s*xual sanctity and purity. May God link you up with such in Jesus name. Amen.
Sexual promiscuity is known to leave behind all sorts of sicknesses, deaths and shame. Now is your time to decide to stay pure.

5) Racial/Ethnic & Tribal Background: beloved note that in this world many accept or reject people based on skin colour and tribe. However, as a believer chose to relate beyond such boundaries. God accepts us based on Jesus Christ irrespective of skin colour, tribe, culture or langauge. Galatians 3: 28-29, Revelations 5: 9-10.
Parents don't limit your children's would be spouse to your race, ethnic group, tribe and language/culture. Pray rather for them to make good and godly choice and truly live together happily and be responsible.
Learn to accept and relate well with people in school, market/business places, neighbourhood, church, etc. You never can tell who your 'Saviour is' or where he or she comes from. Be wise.

6) Religious Background: yes we are free to relate well with all irrespective of their religious background But we must be out spoken about Jesus Christ as believers and know where and when and never hesitate to draw the line. Christianity for those who believe is Not a religion but Living Like Christ Jesus here on earth.
- Remember to do good to all especially they that are in the household of faith, Galatians 6: 10.
- Remember not to be unequally yoked together with an unbeliever. 2Corinthians 6: 14
- Remember not to be ashamed of Jesus Christ and the gospel in this life. Mark 8: 38, Romans 1: 16-17
- Remember you are the light of the world and a city that is not hidden. Matthew 5: 14-16
- Remember you are a pilgrim and an ambassador of Christ. 2Corinthians 5: 20, 1Peter 2:11
- Remember you are a citizen of heaven and do not belong to the world anymore. Philippians 3: 20, John 15: 19, John 17: 14, Colossians 3: 2-3

CORRECT & SCRIPTURAL BASIS TO BE ACCEPTED
> One is accepted whose faith is in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 1: 6
> For doing righteously. Genesis 4: 7, Acts 10: 35

TIME TO BE ACCEPTED IN THE BELOVED
>Now.... today. 2Corinthians 6: 2, Hebrews 4: 7

CONCLUSION
Please know today that though people have rejected you, God still accepts you only if you repent and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
Learn to accept yourself inspite of your tribe and colour.
Learn to accept other people also.
Learn to respect yourself, respect other people and keep confidentiality.

Today and Now is your time to be accepted and accept Jesus Christ.
You are accepted in Jesus Christ. Amen.

TOPIC: KEEP YOURSELVES IN GOD'S LOVE

Dearly beloved! I am writing this as a letter to remind you to keep yourself in God's love moreso as the day of His appearing approaches.
It is a fact that the economy is not friendly and many are burdened with the onerous task of fending for themselves and their family. Basic needs like having decent and nutritious food on the table is hard not to talk of rising cost of rent (for those yet to build their own house), education, transportation, health, etc. All these affects negatively the love of many for God and His kingdom though it ought not to be. These reasons are why I encourage you especially that one that is born again to keep yourself in the love of God and not let it wax cold.
Here's what our dear Apostle Jude said in his letter:
'Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.' Jude vs 21
"To keep" connotes the following:
* that it is your responsibility ie what you can and should do. You do not delegate this responsibility to someone else
* that some effort must be exerted by you..
* that it may be difficult BUT it is also a Possibility ie what you can do and not fail doing so.
* you can also refuse to do so But this is not recommended.
* if you stay long enough in God's love, His mercy will reach you or better still: you will receive God's mercy. Alleluia!

- God showed His love for you by the gift of Jesus, His begotten son today the price for your redemption by His life, dead, resurrection and the outpouring of His Holy Spirit on and in you by faith.
- The Holy Spirit poured in our hearts empowers you to live and walk in love both for God and human beings. John 3:16, Romans 5: 5, 1John 4:10.

This is how to stay in God's love:

# Believe God and in His love for even when you don't seem to feel so. Romans 8: 28

# Staying in His word. How? Daily loading your spirit with God's word as written in the Holy Bible; read, hear, meditate, believe, confess and do what the word says. Practise putting yout bible app on speaker and let the word be read out to you especially you feel sad, challenged and low. Joshua 1: 8, John 15: 7, James 1:21-25. Beloved God is true to His word.

# Obeying His commands, which are not grievous. 1John 2: 5, 1John 5:3

# Loving other people as Christ loved us and demonstrating this practically eg feeding the hungry, praying for others, clothing the naked, preaching the gospel of salvation, visiting the lonely, delivering the oppressed, etc . 1John 3: 17, 1John 4: 20

# Not loving the world and everything in it (ie worldly and ungodly patterns, beliefs and practices- worldliness). 1John 2:15

# Maintaining and participating in fellowship with other brethren. Philippians 2: 1-2, Hebrews 10: 24-25, 1John 1: 3, 7

# Living in union with God. 1John 4: 16

# Not entertaining fear or giving up. 1Corinthians 13: 7, 1John 4: 18

# Maintaining your confession of faith, believe in and trust in God. 1Corinthians 13: 7, 1Timothy 6: 12-13

Benefits of keeping yourself in God's love
> Obtain and enjoy God's mercy. Deuteronomy 7: 9, Jude: 21
> All things will work together for good to you..Romans 8: 31
> God shall freely give you all things... Romans 8: 32
> Obtain the crown of righteousness. 2Timothy 4: 8

TOPIC: CALLED TO ETERNAL GLORY: TAPPING INTO

Preamble
After my last post on Eternal Glory on Facebook someone commented that it was insensitive and lacking compassionate feelings for people generally. Well, the instructions, ordinances and ways of God especially when it has to do with things of eternal value are always precise and not tilted to emotional feelings. They are mostly truths or principles with conditions that work as "default settings" for all living people when applied accordingly.
Kindly understand that God's compassion flows often for issues that are limited only to life on earth and not after death e.g. repentance, forgiveness, salvation, healing, promotions, deliverance, meeting needs, raising the dead, etc. Please check these scriptures:
- 2Chronicles 7: 13-14
- Psalm 89: 20-21, 30-37
- Luke 24: 46- 47, Acts 2: 37-39, Romans 10: 12- 13, 2Corinthians 7: 10
- Matthew 9: 35- 36, Matthew 14: 13- 14, Matthew 15: 29- 32, 37
- Mark 7: 11-16, John 11: 1- 6, 11- 13, 33-36, 40-44
- Acts 3: 19, Acts 17: 30, Acts 20: 21

What I mean here is that anyone who desires God's compassion in his or her life have opportunity to demand for and receive it while alive on earth. When your life on earth is over as taught in the Holy Bible, (Isaiah 40: 10, Daniel 12: 2, John 3: 17, John 5: 28- 29, Hebrews 9: 27, Hebrews 10: 39, Revelation 20: 11- 15, Revelation 22: 11-15) what you will experience shall be based on your covenant relationship with Jesus while alive is either of these:

1) Eternal and Glorious Rewards: Daniel 12: 3, Matthew 25: 31-36, Romans 2: 6-7, 10-11, Romans 8: 17-18, 2Corinthians 4: 17-18, 2Timothy 4: 7-8, Revelation 2: 11; 3: 21, etc

*2) Eternal Damnation, Punishments or Inglorious Rewards: Matthew 25: 41- 43, Mark 3: 29, Romans 2: 8- 9, 11, 2Peter 2: 18- 20, Revelation 21: 8

Having laid this foundation please join me in making the following CONFESSIONS OF FAITH. It covers every area of life.

The bearer of Eternal Glory who is Jesus Christ lives in me therefore I have the fulness of Eternal Glory in my spirt, soul and body in this life and in the life hereafter. Matthew 25: 34, Colossians 1: 27, Hebrews 1: 10

* I live Holy because He is holy. I am also a non conformist to the standards and ungoldy practices of the present evil world. Romans 12: 1-2, Colossians 3: 20, 1Peter 1: 4-15

* I do not sin or continue in sin or practice sin. Sin does not have any hold of me (ie space, have dominion over or master me nor am I its servant) because Jesus Christ never sinned but overcame temptations- toady I overcome every temptation that comes my way. Amen. Romans 6: 14, 16, Hebrews 4: 15, 1John 3: 9

* Jesus the Light of the world dwells in me therefore my world (including people in my sphere of influence and beyond) have light and are illuminated because today I am their light and I shine. John 8: 12, John 9: 4-7, Matthew 5: 14-16, Philippians 2: 15-16, 2Corinthians 4: 6

* I prosper and stay healthy because Jesus was never sick and heals all the sick. Psalm.107: 20, Isaiah 53: 4- 5, Matthew 12: 15, 3John 2

* I lack no good thing I need for life, godliness and ministry such as indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit in full measure, gifts of the Holy Spirit, fruits of the Holy Spirit, power of the Holy Spirit, strength of God, divine wisdom, knowledge, grace, mercy, favour with God and man, security, protection, upliftment, promotions, jobs, money, wealth, spouse, marriage/homes/children, deliverance, triumph, victories and enrichment on all sides. In short the fulness of God is within me so I enjoy Eternal Glory. Alleluia! Exodus 2: 21, Psalm 34: 10, Psalm 73: 36 Psalm 78: 55, Psalm 84: 11, Psalm 127: 3-5, Psalm.128: 3, Proverbs 19: 14, Isaiah 11: 2-3, Matthew 17: 22, Luke 2: 52, Luke 22: 35, John 1: 14, Acts 17: 28, 1Corinthians 1: 30, 1Corinthians 2: 9-10, 12, 1Corinthians 1: 5- 7, 1Corinthians 12: 5-11, 2Corinthians 1: 10, 2Corinthians 2: 14, 2Corinthians 9: 8, 11, Galatians 5: 18, 22-23, 25, Ephesians 5: 18- 20, Philippians 1: 9- 11, Colossians 2: 9-10, 2Peter 1: 3-4, etc

* Jesus reigns in righteousness as Lord and King; I also reign in life now and hereafter by Him. Romans 5: 17, Revelation 2: 26- 27, Revelation 5: 10

* Like Jesus endured temporal pains, light afflictions, suffering, persecutions and contradictions I also do. He was glorified therefore I shall be glorified. Romans 8: 29-30, 2Corinthians 4: 17-18, 2Timothy 3: 12, Hebrews 12: 2-3,1Peter 2: 20b- 23. He saw the travails of His soul and was satisfied therefore I shall also see the travails of my soul and be satisfied. Glory! Isaiah 53: 11, Luke 2: 25- 38, 2Corintians 3: 2 -3

CONCLUSION
Whatever Eternal Glory Jesus Christ has I also have now and in the life hereafter because Jesus lives in me in all fulness. Praise God!

TOPIC: CALLED TO ETERNAL GLORY: NOW OR IN THE LIFE HEREAFTER
Preamble
'Called to eternal glory.' I see this caption often boldly inscribed on deceased people poster and obituary programme. I have wandered on this for a long time and asked questions like:
> How do we know that a particular deceased person has been called to eternal glory?
> Does the call eternal glory happen only after one has died physically?
Recently, the light of this scripture in

1Peter 5:10 : "and the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast." (NIV)

shown more brightly in my spirit prompting me to do a personal bible study on eternal glory. What I garnered from that study I hereby share on this page for the profit of all.
I humbly request that you contribute meaningfully based on suitable bible reference(s) to this study for our broader understanding and more light.

ETERNAL GLORY: WHAT IT IS
First, the word 'eternal' according Oxford Advanced Leaners" Doctionary is without end; existing or continuing forever.
For me, the word eternal has to do with somebody or something that is unfading, unending and without limits.

Glory is all encompassing. It is known as splendour, majesty, beauty, wealth, riches, power, strength, soundness (spiritually, mentally, emotionally, bodily, etc) that surrounds and us within a deity, person, family, church, nation or inanimate things like rocks, houses, etc.
Matching the above two definitions I say Eternal Glory is unending bliss with abundance of everything. In the true sense, ETERNAL GLORY is the fulness of God; who He is and has.

WHO IS CALLED TO ETERNAL GLORY?
Let answer this question under the following sub-headings
# At Creation
# After the Fall
# After Jesus Died and Resurrected

# At Creation: God made all things and man with its own peculiar glory, which represented a fraction of God's glory eg the glory of man, the glory of sun, the glory moon, the glory stars, the glory of grasses, etc. Proverbs 20:29, Luke 12: 27, 1Corinthians 15: 40-41

# After the Fall
Adam and all humans fell short (ie below and not up to the standard/measure) of the glory of God, Romans 3: 23. Also the glory of all other created things became fading glory. 1Peter 5:4

# After Jesus Christ Died and Resurrected
All who turn to Jesus Christ in true repentance and faith are born again and automatically called into and made partakers of His Eternal Glory. 1Peter 5: 10, 2Peter 1: 3. Alleluia!

WHEN DOES ETERNAL GLORY TAKE EFFECT?
Let us read and consider the scriptures quoted below
- ‭‭John‬ ‭17:6‭-‬8‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[6] I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. [7] Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. [8] For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
[22] And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[6] For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1:21‭-‬22‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[21] And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled [22] in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
[26] even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: [27] to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭2:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[12] that ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.

‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭2:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[14] whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[10] Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[10] For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[10] But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

‭‭Romans‬ ‭2:6‭-‬7‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[6] Who will render to every man according to his deeds: [7] to them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
[10] but glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: [11] for there is no respect of persons with God.

A careful study of all the above scriptures shows that:
* Those called to eternal glory are people who turn to Jesus Christ in true repentance and faith
* Those who die without a covenant relationship by faith with Jesus Christ are Not called to eternal glory.
* Eternal glory takes effect from new birth and continues in the life hereafter for those that are born again and continue in faith
* Eternal Glory is the life and experience of the New Creature

WHAT THOSE WHO ARE BORN AGAIN SHOULD DO AS PER ETERNAL GLORY

Please let us clarify this:
Most born again do not die physically immediately after their new birth experience. Since this is so, let's see what we are expected to do having called unto eternal glory.
> We must continue to preach the gospel so we partake in bringing many sons unto glory. 2Thessalonians 2: 14, 2Timothy 4: 2
> We must like, Jesus Christ and Apostle Paul bring God glory by completing the work He gave us to do. This is living and fulfilling purpose. John 17: 4, 2Timothy 4: 5-8
> We must endure hardship, persecution and sufferings if need be for the gospel sake and in view of the greater and eternal weight of glory. 2Corinthians 4: 17-18, 2Timothy 2: 3, 9-10, Hebrews 12: 2-3
> We must fix our eyes on Jesus through His word for the needed transformation into His same image from glory to glory. 2Corithians 3:16,18, Hebrews 12: 2-3

IS THERE ETERNAL GLORY AFTER LIFE ON EARTH?
The answer to the above question is a definite YES.
The Bible teaches that there is eternal glory to be enjoyed after our earthly life. Jesus Christ and other inspired bible writer spoke about it.
This level of eternal glory is Only guaranteed to people who are born again now and continuing in faith before dying physically. Romans 2: 6-7, 10

CONCLUSION
No matter how many "called to eternal glory" are inscribed on your obituary poster or funeral programme; Eternal Glory begins with the New Birth and continues into eternity for all who continue in faith. Period.

TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING DIVINE REMEMRANCE
Recently, I was asked to teach a bible study on the above topic. To the glory of God it was both enlightening and impactful!
The content of that study is what shall be shared here.
INTRODUCTION
Since the study is on Divine Remembrance the following should be noted:
- we shall be learning from the Bible about God and Remembrance
- we must know and believe that God is intrinsically just (righteous) meaning that it is His nature to remember and 'cannot' forget. God Remembers.
- in the Bible, Divine Remembrance is anchored on the following:
1) God's Covenant
2) Our Labour of Love
3) God's Sovereignty

WHAT DIVINE REMEMBRANCE IS ANCHORED ON
1) GOD'S COVENANT : a thorough study of the holy scriptures on the above subject matter God remembers his people and nation because of His Covenant with Abraham, which He renewed in Isaac and established in Jacob.
* Covenant is God's way of relating and interfacing with His people on earth.
* His Covenant speaks beyond a particular generation, people and person as already referred to above.

Below are instances of Divine Rembrance based on God's Covenant:

While in bo***ge in Egypt when the Israelited cried out unto God for deliverance, what God remembered was Jis Covenant with Abraham, which was enough to trigger Him to act and raise a Moses through whom He delivered them. Exodus 2:23-25. Again when the same Israelited offended God through unbelief, idol worshipper and other sins, and therefore were punished when they cried out to Him in their backslidden state, adversity and distress, what He remembered was His Covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. His remembrance of that Covenant brought them God's mercy and help.
God remembered His covenant with Abraham and delivered Lot from being destroyed with S***m and Gomorrah as seen in Genesis 19: 29. Lot was blessed with faithful Abraham, Genesis 12: 3, Galatians 3: 9.
Today, the Covenant that speaks and works for God's people (of which the Abrahamaic one was a prototype), has the following characteristics:
> is a better Covenant, Hebrews 7: 22
> is based or founded on better promises, Hebrews 8: 6
> is anchored on and ratified by the blood of the resurrected Jesus Christ who is the only Saviour of all mankind, and speaks better things for all who believe, Hebrews 12: 24
In essence if the Abrahamaic Covenant provoked and still divine remembrance for the Israelites, the New Covenant brought into effect by Jesus' death and resurrection does much more for all who believe.
I was sick and very weak for more than two (2) weeks recently. While it lasted I remembered what the New Covenant has already done for me and went ahead to appropriate the blood of Jesus Christ for my healing by faith. To God's glory, He remembered me and restored strength unto me and as I write I am completely healed. Alleluia!
Many people are afflicted and in distress because though they are born again are ignorant of what the New Covenant does for them. Appropriate the New Covenant now and you shall be remembered. Associating with Jesus Christ by faith makes God remember you.

Questions:
a)Which Covenant is speaking for you?
b) Who are your close associates?

2) OUR LABOUR OF LOVE: another phrase for this is 'Good Works'. Our labour of love surely provokes divine remembrance as seen in Hebrews 6: 10. This verse of the scripture can be read thus
'God is just (righteous), He will remember your work and love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them'. (NIV)
The good things you do for people are actually done to God (Matthew 25: 34-45, Ephesians 6: 7-8, Colossians 17, 23-24) and are what He remembers to do you good whenever you need same. Below are a few case in point:
* Noah: Noah lived right and obeyed God's instructions even when other people did not in Genesis 6: 9, Genesis 7: 1. Living right and obedient are summed as good works. It was these that provoked God remembering him in the ark and opening the door to a new life for him, Genesis 8: 1-5.

* King Hezekiah: when told by Isaiah the prophet that he would die and should put his house in order, brought his labour of love as strong reasons and what God should remember and allow him.live longer on earth and not die, 2Kings 20: 1-6. Your labour of love many times can advert pending disasters and judgments against you.

* Mordecai is not a fictitious character in the Bible. He is a real Jew who lived as a captive in Babylon during the reign of king Xerses who ruled over 127 provinced stretching from India to Cush, Esther 1: 1. He laboured in love for that king and his fellow Jews including his niece Esther who latter became the queen having been married to king Xerses himself. Esther 2: 5-18. Mordecai's labour of love for his fellow Jews are recorded in Esther 4: 1-17, His Labour of love for the king was recorded in the book of the chronicles of the kings as referred to in Esther 2: 21-23, Esther 6: 1-2. In due season, God caused this book to be opened by the king because the time for Mordecai' s good work to be remembered and he rewarded had come. Glory! Esther 6: 1-11, Esther 8: 1-2. He was remembered and elevated for his labour of love.
Beloved keep doing good works. Your labour of love shall be remembered and you shall be rewarded in God's time. Ecclesiastes 3:11.
It is good practice to come before God in prayers and present your labours of love as reasons God should remember you.

Questions:
a) What labours of love are you sowing?
b) What labours of love can cause God to remember you and hear your prayers?

3) GOD'S SOVEREINTY: Sovereignty of God in Christianity can be defined primarily as the right of God to exercise his ruling power over his creation, and secondarily, but not necessarily, as the exercise of this right.
What this means is that God does what He wants to do for people, places and things as He wills (i.e when, how and where).
A case in study as it relates to divine remembrance is Rachael. Searching the scriptures I found out that Rachael was not remembered by God and caused to bear children because of her commitment to His Covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. At some point when Jacob finally fled and left serving her father Laban, Rachael stole the idol from her father's household and even lied about it, Genesis 31: 19, 30, 32-35. By this we know that Rachael did not particularly live a righteous life. God's remembrance of her was not based on her righteous living or good works. So, why did God remember her as she prayed and longed for her own children? The answer is simply God's Sovereignty.
Sovereignty is not God's usual or regular way of doing thing or interfacing with mankind but once in a while He still does.

My Prayer
May God in His Sovereignty remember and do us good this season and always in Jesus Christ name. Amen.

DIVIDENDS OF GOD'S REMEMBRANCE
Dividends are what we gain from God's remembrance and they are endless..some are listed here:
* Troubles recedes:Genesis.8: 1, 5
* Fresh blossoming (seed time and harvest time work in your favour): Genesis 8: 17, 22
* Wombs open, conception and deliveries takes place, Genesis 30: 22-23
* Disgrace, shame and reproach are rolled away. Many share your joy: Genesis 30: 23, Luke 1: 24-25, 57-58
* Your records are searched in your favour: elevation, honour and divine compensation: Esther 6: 3, 7-11
* Sovereign God works in your favour. Ecclesiastes 9: 11, Romans 9: 15. Alleluia

CONCLUSION
God remember me does not just happen. It is not an emotional prayer nor does it provoke God's emotions.
God remember me does not stand on a vacuum. It stands on His covenants, your Labours of love and His Sovereignty.
