STOP SAYING I AM SMALL

"But the Lord said to me, Do not say 'I am a youth, for you shall go to all to whom I send you'. Jeremiah 1: 7.

Jeremiah was one of the outstanding prophets in Isreal.He was dedicated to his call and served Isreal and God well.
These achievments was almost marred by his confession- " I am a youth".

Your confession affects your profession.When the enemy wants to rob a man from his great future he first attacks his confession.Scriptures says Life and death are in your mouth.Friends you worth more than what you are professing, stop saying you are small, stop saying you are not rich, stop saying you don't deserve the best, stop saying you are not educated.

Many hid under the disguise of humility and enveloped themselves with negative confession else men would say i am proud.Positive confession via God is not been prideful, is claiming who God originally said you are.God had to rebuke Jeremiah for confessing negatively, " don't say you are a youth" why?, this is because God saw a great prophet in him and not a youth, He saw a weapon of prophetic announcement rather than a child.If God says so who can say otherwise.Stop saying you are small, see yourself, the way God sees you.

Prayer Point : Father, I rebuke every negative confession in my life, I am bigger, stronger and wiser than i taught i was.I am who God says I am. I am his workmanship made to show forth his glory.I refuse to be small in Jesus name.

"That night the king could not sleep. So one was commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles and they were read before the king. Esther 6:1(NKJV)

What on earth would have made a king not to sleep? He had all he needed; power, comfort, fame and glory. Even when he had sat for hours judging his people and dispatching orders, returning to his room he lost the desire to sleep.This is because, it was time to favour one of God's child and this can only be done by opening the books.The king never knew his lack of sleep was connected to the books of record, for that night, if he must sleep then the book must be open why? because it was time to favour mordecai. The Psalmist reveals this mystery, " You will arise and have mercy on zion; for the time to favour her, yes, the set time has come(Ps102:13).

There are many whose good works, kind gesture will be remembered today, yes you showed help to someone and he or she was lifted to the top, you gave your support to someone but today he has forgotten that support, you gave your time, money, wisdom and energy for the smooth start of that company, today that company has turned into a conglomerate of companies yet they have forgotten your efforts, hear this beloved, the time to favour you has come, your set time is now, like mordecai, i decree concerning any pending gratification, pending reward, pending favour that belong to you, I command the books to be opened in your favour in the name of Jesus. I make demand on the book of remembrance, to be visited in your favour, you shall be remembered this week in the name of Jesus. If God took sleep from the king just to make him open the books , I declare, those who are owing and holding your favour they will loss their peace, their rest till they open their books of favour, i see the books opening right now and your reward for the help rendered delivered in the name of Jesus.This is your set time and no devil can't stop it.

Prayer Point: Oh Lord! I make demand for the book of favour to be open in my favour, father remember my works, I decree, men,kings,nations shall remember me today for good in Jesus name.

STOP THAT VOICE NOW! 2

" Now Eliab his Oldest brother heard when he spoke to the men; and Eliab's anger was aroused against David, and he said, " why did you come down here ? And with whom have you left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know your pride and insolence of your heart,for you have come down to see the battle. 1 Sam 17:28 (NKJV)

The second Voice that spoke against David and still speaking against us is ;

2) THE VOICE OF ELIAB: Who was Eliab? He was the oldest brother of David, that is to say he was the elder brother of David. The voice of Eliab is very powerful and has destroyed many destinities, it is a voice that comes with anger because he believes no one else is better qualify than himself, is a voice that tries to limit rising stars, rising anointings,rising graces and rising giftings by trying to remind them that you've just come to this church, this office , to this ministry, so wait for your time.It is a voice that believes because they cross 10 rivers to get to where they are , you too must cross 10 rivers but they forgot to remember that there is a God that gives a man speed, I speak to you today every voice of Eliab trying to stop your progress in the name of Jesus recieve speed to over pass this limitation in Jesus name.There are so many elder brothers in offices, pastoral ministry, business , these are people that have gone ahead of you in these areas of life, while we salute their sacrifices and pay respect to them, we should understand that we must not allowed envy and selfishness from their end to limit what God is about to do in you and through you . The second thing about the voice of Eliab is the voice that reminds you about your position " to whom did you leave those few sheep with" he was reminding David about his position as the last child and by extension you are not supposed to be here, this place is not meant for you, are there no times in your life that you have been told this Job is not meant for you, this contract is not meant for you, this course is not meant for women, this elective position is not meant for you because you are not an indigene, these are the voices of Eliab,but i speak to your life, i silent those voices now! In the name of Jesus.
Pick up your bible and begin to silent those voices now , enough is enough, stop that voice now!

Prayer Point: My father!, My Maker! every voice of Eliab speaking against my life, my ministry,my children,my spouse as i pray i silent them now! In the name of Jesus.I make demand for speed to overtake every blockage caused by the voice of Eliab in my life in Jesus name.

STOP THAT VOICE NOW!

" Then as he talked with them, there was the champion, the Philistine of Gath, Goliath by name, coming up from the armies of the philistines and he spoke according to the same words.So David heard them. 1 Sam 17: 23 ( NKJV)

Life is full of voices and men are in sizes.What you listen to can either make you or mar you.So many had committed su***de by just listening to a voice tell them" kill yourself, what are you living for" some become depressd because the voice of depression had overtaken their system and rule over them.
The anchor verse for today devotional gives us insight about David and the voice of Goliath, the bible said the Gaint came out in his usual way and boasted again and dispatch fear to the camp of Isreal but this time it was different because he meet his waterloo, David was present and the bible said " So David heard them".Beloved what are you hearing? Stop that voice now!.What did David hear?. There were four things;

1) THE VOICE OF GOLIATH : This was the voice of the Gaint, very intimidating and frightening and has dispatch fear for almost 40 days.It kept God's people in bo***ge and captivity and they were constantly hiding.Friends, the voice of Goliath is still holding many believers captive, any time you want to make a great and positive strides in life , you hear the voice telling you, it won't work, reminding you about your previous failures, past mistakes and errors and tries to put you down is the voice of Goliath, the voice of gaint,but today i release upon you the voice of God, the spirit of power and of sound mind, to face and rebuke that voice, scriptures says " rebuke the devil and he shall flee".Stop lamenting over the voice of Goliath and arise as a child of God and rebuke that voice now! Remember you can't stop a bird from flying over your head but you can stop it from building a nest on your head.Stop the voice of Goliath from building nest on your life and spiritual disposition.David did, you can do it, stop that voice now!

Prayer Point: Father! every voice of Goliath in my life, destiny, and family that has been releasing fear and intimidation in my life and family,Today by the word of Lord,I rebuke you Now! in the name of Jesus.I recover my boldness, my self esteem and my place in Jesus name.

The third can of fear is ;
3) THE FEAR OF PEOPLE'S OPINION.

This is the most dangerous of all the fears because it has a direct link to your future.Opinion is your feeling about something or somebody subject to verification. There are people that have made themselves opinion leaders and they always have something to say in all matters including destiny matters of other people, the feel their opinion must always stand. Many people are culpable of this fear, they try to live their life to please people, what will people say if i do this or do that, they are easily troubled by the media opinion about them, they are more concern about what men will say about their life rather than what God will say. Peter was once affected with this kind of fear when a little girl approach him accusing him of being one of Jesus's disciples but peter blatently said No for fear of people, he was afraid of people's opinion. Beloved, if you listen to people's opinion you will never go far in life. Why people are attacked by this is because they believe their followship or number of likes on Social media depend on people opinion hence once people's opinion changes their self respect is threatned and they become afraid of loosing that honour.Remember, wherether you like it or not people will still create an opinion about you and what you are doing.So many had failed in one little assignment and has refuse to rise because of people's opinion and had long remain in the same spot.The fear of people opinion is one subtle tool used by the ememy to bring down God's people and halt Kingdom advancement.

Prayer Point: Oh lord! I refuse to be a victim of the fear of people's opinion, what they say doesn't matter as much as what you say about me.I recieve grace to fight and overcome this fear in Jesus Name.I am who I am , I am who God said I am and i am not what men said I am in Jesus Name.

As we continue, on the 3 kinds of fear, God by his mercies will help us understand how to deal with the second kind of fear.

2) THE FEAR OF IGNORANCE: This kind of fear comes as a result of not knowing what to do.It is the fear of ignorance, nobody was born with complete knowledge, people developed themselves to that level where they become reference point or consultant.The ability of not knowing what to do places you always at the recieving end, everybody wants to experiment guidance and counselling with your life, because whenever you don't know what to do in life, people will tell you what to do, in the same manner, if you don't take action with your life, men will take action on your behalf. This can be liken to the fear of the Unknow.
The chinese proverb said, " You can only be a fool or Ignorant for just 2 mins, once you ask questions and you know, you can't be ignorant anymore.Those who ask questions never miss their way, i pray for you today, that you won't miss your way as a result of Ignorance in Jesus name.It is Ignorance that breeds incompetent and incompetency give birth to lack of confidence. You can never be CONFIDENCE until you are COMPETENT. The fear of ignorance strives best in lack of confidence.The enemy knows this secret and uses it against God's people, he tells you how much less confidence you are, how less confidence you are to be trusted with great jobs at work and he demoralizes your self confidence so that you will loose your self competent, but today marks the end, the last time he tries it is the last forever in Jesus name.

HOW TO ATTACK THIS FEAR: guard yourself with knowledge, bible says buy the truth and sell it not, why because you will need it all the days of your life.If you sell it you will surely run out of supply in the days of adversity.Secondly Ask questions, never keep mute, ask questions on how to do this, or that, never keep silence, ask questions and ask the right people, when you ask the wrong people,they give you the wrong answer and when this answer fails it will only worsen your condition and increase your fear of Ignorance once more.Every answer you need is in the Holy bible, hence Paul advises young Timothy, to study it and get knowledge to fight the fear of Ignorance. Attack it Now with God's word.

Prayer Point: Oh Lord, every fear of Ignorance, fear of not knowing what to do per time, fear of lack of confidence, today in the name of Jesus, I cut off from such fear in my life, i overcome by the blood of Jesus and by the word of the Lord.I declare i am bold, like the lion and I am confident like the early morning Sun in Jesus name

It was his third year at the premier Rev Hope Waddle Training Institute, Calabar.Preparations were already in top gear by his collegues for their Junior WAEC but Etido seems not to be bothered at all.One day after school hours, he had a talk with the Chapel prefect(who was a born again christian) and express his fears, " Senior, i am scare writing this Junior WAEC, because everyone that wrote this exam in the past in my family ends up in the past, they never get to the next class( S.S.1).My two elders brothers wrote the same exam in this same school but didn't live to see their new classes, i am afraid and the fear is hunting me badly" he try to explained.I know how you feel is very normal to feel this way but abnormal to allow this feeling of fear to remain.He read 2 Tim 1:7 and lead him to Christ and prayed with him.The Senior kept checking on Etido and few weeks later he enrolled for his Junior WAEC and cleared all his subjects with distinction.Etido resumed for the new session and finished from the same school clearing all his subjects in his Senior WAEC- an anchievement that made him the first person in his family to have broken such record. Friends, God has not given us the spirit of fear, so whenever you feel afraid you need to attack that fear and fight back.There are 3 kinds of fear;

1) FEAR OF THE PAST: This is one of the devil's powerful tool, always reminding you about your past, what happened in your life , what happened to your father or mother, what happened to your car and tries to relate it with your present life and circumstances.The fear of the past has kept many stagnant,because the business didn't work in the past doesn't mean it will not work again if you try.

HOW TO OVERCOME THIS FEAR.
Whenever, you are faced with this kind of fear, make reference to our anchor scriptures and read 2 Corth 5:17" if any man be in christ is a new creature old things are passed away,behold all things are become new".Praise God.This is the antidote for the fear of the past.Never allow it hold you captive anymore, like Etido, he broke the chain of fear of the past and he excelled with flying colours, attack the fear of the past and it will remained a PAST in your life.

Prayer Point: Father, every fear hunting my past, i attack it Now in the name of Jesus, I am a new creature , born of the spirit, old things are gone and today am new in christ, so devil get out from my mind, my thought and my feelings in Jesus name.

THE WAY OF BALAAM 2

"Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of Unrighteousness.2 Peter 2:15(KJV)

One major question, that we should answer is Who is Balaam?. Balaam is a prophet, the son of Beor, he was another privileged Midianite who was greatly anointed of God.He had risen up to be a prophet as early as the time the Children of Isreal were just returning from the land of their Captivity.He was highly honoured and revered among the Midianites as one whose words bore so much weight.
Balaam went in the way of greed to the extent that he compelled God to grant him permission to go on a trip that He had expressly warned him against.The way of Balaam is the way of Greed and discontentment.It leads to Merchandise of the truth or the gospel.We live in an age where the truth is scarce and in short supply.People make merchandise of the truth like Balaam, they prefer to tell the people what they want to hear than what God want them to do.They are men pleasers instead of God pleasers.I rather please God than Please men, oh lord help me.How to know when a man is heading towards the way of balaam; two things are key
1) Unending love for the wages of unrighteousness.whenever your love for God decreases and your love the wages for Unrighteousness increases, be careful,this is the way of Balaam.When a man wants to get rich at all cost even at the expense of his salvation then the way of balaam is close by.When a lady can go the extramile just to hook a man for marriage is the way of balaam.The wages of unrighteousness means what you and I stand to gain from sinful negotiations.It may look great at first but surely it aftermath is far reaching and may extend to generations.For instance, Balaam is long gone but Peter was still making reference to him and his ways.
2) It makes a Man Mad.Madness here refer to loosing control, a man that is full of himself and can't listen to spiritual advise and had lost Spiritual Covering and Control.There are people that saw a few millions of Naira and they lost control, they talked to elders with impunity, they threw respect and caution to the wind, they felt everyone should bow to them, there are men whose graces and anointing were of great blessings to their world and generation but suddenly, they become mad and went whirl with the anointing and began to misbehave.Friends, never allow the disesase of balaam to infect you, never go mad, never allow what God is accomplishing through you to make you go mad learn from Jesus and his ways- a humble man even death to the cross.
To follow the way of Balaam is to go astray and to be caught in the net of wickedness because of temporary gain.That way makes a man mad.It blocks his ears and blinds his eyes as well as his sense of Judgement.It corrupts his heart and makes the permissive will of God the first eager choice of such a man.The way of balaam is the way of destruction, there is a way that looks right in a man's way - this is the way of balaam, the end is destruction waiting for such a person.Please flee from the way of Balaam.

Prayer Point: Lord! Please help me not to go the way of balaam even if the world mount pressure on me.l will follow the way of the Lord.

THREATNED BY UNITY 2

" Come let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another's speech". Gen 11: 7 (KJV)

The power of Unity is second to none.Any persons or group of person that engages this power is bound to succeed and nothing can stop them.The simplest way to destroy a man or his family is to attack his unity strength.It takes a United enemy to destroy a United friend.This means if unity must be attacked it must be attacked by another group of Unity.For instance, a group of persons United in their meetings( e.g university management) agreed to increase the student school fees without any tangible reason(s), this singular action will affect the entire students, if the students must be heard or fight back it must be done via unity, if each student began to complain at the student affairs center, VC office and other places, it won't hold waters but if the students come together and be united and move in their tens of hundreds to the VC office, student affairs,Streets, i tell you the truth, that same day the matter will be given serious attention,because the media will magnify it and many will lend their voice(s). That is what unity can do.It takes Unity to fight Unity. The people were United and they were achieving their target and God himself, not His Angels was threatned by their Unity.There are two group of Unity here i liked to draw your attention- " Come let us make bricks and bake"(Gen 11:3) and " Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language"( Gen 11: 7) this was the second group of unity- the God group speaking.Note in the second group the letter "C" is in caps while in the first group is just "c" and in the second group the word "Us" the U is in caps while in the first group the "us" is not in caps, that means the caps group signifies divinity, a more superior group and a powerful group.Recalled, in Gen 1:26 " Let Us make man in Our image according to our likeness" which means man got a little quantity of this Unity from his maker and secondly anytime God wants to stamp his signature on earth and do something tangible on earth, he does that via Unity.When he made man,he did via Unity and when he scatter man he did via Unity, the trinity must agreed before anything is done on man on earth.The implications of this are;
1) The ticket or passport to get heaven's attention as a man,a family, a ministry is Unity.If you strengthen your Unity then heaven have no choice than to give you attention.
2) God is greatly moved and unrest when you stand steady in Unity in demand for something from Him.How long have you been praying for that problem? How long has that issue persisted and had defiled laying of hands, prophesy and etc.Try Unity, if you are a couple , hold your hands in agreement now and begin to pray for that pains,trouble,stress,challenged,do this for 30mins everyday and watch God moved by your unity and shows up to answer you and the glory returned to Him .Make every effort to guide and settled any differences you have with your spouse or praying partner.Once this is done,then return back to the drawing board- the prayer board and draw out your testimonies via Unity.

Prayer Point: Father! Every spirit of disunity in my life, fighting me,my family,my spouse today by the blood of Jesus i rebuked them and take hold of my life,family, spouse,children,ministry through the power of unity in Jesus Name.Amen

THREATNED BY UNITY.

" And the Lord said indeed the people are one and they all have one language and this is what they begin to do now,nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.Gen 11:6

Language is one of the channels of communication.It can bind a people together and cause them to have this sense of belonging. The importance of language can' t be over stressed.The whole earth at some point had enjoyed this gift- " they spoke one language"which means they were united and understood each other.It was at this point that they were able to move."And it came to pass as they journeyed from the east ".Friends, there is power in unity, you can't be united and not experience movement, wherether, as a family, church, school.It is on " Auto run" for anyone, operating under the influence of unity not to move or be static, unity is a propeller.when couples are united,they experience movement , upward movement and increase, that is why the devil will fight your unity with your spouse because he knows the efficacy of your unity.It is a spiritual law devoid of ethnic sentiment or skin colour.For a seed to be form, for another life to be sent to earth, the man and woman must be united in S*x for this to happen.If they don't come together, no life will be formed.More than sexual unity is spiritual unity.How often do you unite with your spouse in the place of prayer? When last did you guys unite to study the bible together and share notes and rhema,? When last did you hold hands with your spouse and take a stand over a matter spiritual? the devil will always stop you from doing this and gives you a thousands reasons for not connecting with your spouse, he makes you feel too busy with the work of the God, you are a man of God, you can pray seperately and let your wife pray her own.Yes, there are times you pray alone but find time or times within the week and unite spiritually, there are spiritual dimensions you will never access singlely, there are spiritual battles you will never win separately, it must be joint.Remember, the bible said " one can chase a thousand, and two ten thousand" this is what the devil is afraid of and don' t want this scriptures to find expression in your life and marriage." Whatsoever, you(two) shall bind on earth, it is bind in heaven.He is threatned by your unity and will do everything to distort that bond of unity.One of the ways he does this, is by altering, your language- the bedrock of communication, when this is done, then unity is not possible.When there is little or no communication then unity has been destroyed.Note as long as the earth had and spoke one language they were united and immediately their language was distorted,they were scattered. This is the secret of the devil, never let him alter your family,love and marital language, guide it with all carefulness, for out of it flows the power of unity.Be United and stay united.

Prayer Point: Father, i pray for your grace to connect back to my spouse and strengthen our bond of unity spirutually, help us to stand together to pray and study your word.I block all loop holes in my marriage caused by the devil distorting our language in the name of Jesus.From today we stand united and no devil can't scatter us again in Jesus mighty name.Amen

DON'T BE COOL AT THE POOL

" Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a Pool, which is called in Hebrew,Bethesda,having five porches.In these lay a great multitude of sick people,blind,lame,paralyzed,waiting for the moving of the water.John 5: 2-3(KJV)

Located at the center of Jerusalem, was a Pool.The sheep gate was one of the entrances carved into Jerusalem's city wall.This pool was a famous place where the handicapped and sick gathered because of its reputed healing propertise.This healing propertise was precedented by the moving of the water by an Angel. When this happens, the sick rushed to the pool and anyone that gets there first enjoys the healing.Note until the angel moves the water there is no healing.Beloveth, if the Pool is not moved, they people will be cool and once the pool is moved by the angel those who stayed cool cannot be healed even though there are within the pool environment. There are many people today that have been around a healing atmosphere in church or programme but they were not healed because they stood cool without engaging their faith, many are where they are today because they were pussy-footing over a business deal and while they took their time to analysed if it was real or not the opportunity sliped pass them and another grabed it with joy.Never be cool at the pool.Recalled, the pool gathered alot of people.This is a typology of life, it has some many people with different ambitions, dreams and aspirations.There is virtually no dream you are dreaming that someone else hadn't dreamt so it is not new,what will bring it to materiliasation is the ability for you to arise and make efforts towards those dreams, don't stay cool about them but arise and make a move.
To some the pool was just a center of attraction, they could come around to watch and enjoy the drama of who enters the water or who rushed in first and they will be satisfy with just the fantasy of the show at the pool.Friends, life is more than a show, what are you doing with your life? What are your children doing with their life?, time is key for the accomplishment of life, don't be carried away by the euphoria of the show of life , the man at the pool remained there at the pool for so many years always giving one excuse "i have no man".
