"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." - Proverbs 3:5-6

This passage reminds us to trust in God and submit to His will, even when we don't understand what He is doing or why certain things are happening in our lives. We may feel lost or uncertain about the future, but we can have confidence that God will guide us and make our paths straight if we place our trust in Him. So let us trust in the Lord with all our heart, and lean not on our own understanding, but on His wisdom and guidance.

It was a spirit filled atmosphere at the worship auditorium of the Church of Christ, Idoro Obio, as they officially welcomed Minister Friday Essang as the new minister of the congregation. Minister Essang who replaced Minister Kubiat Archibong was received yesterday into the Minister's quater which was followed by a warm reception.

In his first preaching assignment, Minister Friday Essang charged the congregation to raise an alter of worship and reawaken the spirit of love in the congregation. After a powerful admonition, three souls were added to the family of God as a way of beginning ministerial duties in Idoro Obio.

In his goodwill message, the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Comrade Ini Ememobong thanked God for the congregation stating that he has witnessed the power of God in Idoro Obio Congregation. He further granted financial support to young members to aid in their academic well-being.

The service had eminent personalities such like Mr. Borono Bassey ( PDP Publicity Secretary, AKS), Hon. Itoro Noah ( Assistant Publicity Secretary,PDP AKS), Min. Bassey Bassey Essang, Min. Ubong Ekpo, Min. Amanam Abidiak, Minister Mike Udam ( The Village Preacher) among other personalities.

CHURCH OF CHRIST IDORO HOLDS PRAISE AND WORSHIP SERVICE FOR FEBRUARY
......PRAYS FOR A PEACEFUL 2023 GENERAL ELECTION
......AS BROTHER UBONG EKA CHARGES MEMBERS TO STAY WOKE AMIDST THE UNTOLD HARDSHIP IN THE COUNTRY

In commemoration with the doctrine of Church of Christ Idoro Obio which sets aside every first Sunday of the month to shower praises and thanksgiving to God Almighty, the congregation gathered today to obey the wordings of Hebrews Chapter 10 verse 25 and to open the month of February with praises and thanksgiving.

The 300 Capacity Auditorium was filled to the brim as members roll out in numbers to continue in fellowshipping together after a week long devotional activities. The service which was anchored by Brother Aniekeme Ebong focused on thanking God for ushering the members into a new month as well as praying fervently for the Peace of God to prevail as we draw closer to the 2023 general elections.

In his word of redemption, Brother Ubong Eka charged the congregation to stay woke amidst the untold hardship witnessed in the country. Drawing his analogy from the life of JOB, he admonished the saints to remain hopeful and remain prayerful as we draw closer to better days. He further reteriated that as Children of Christ, we should always remain the pillars of hope to the society.

The service featured song renditions, moments with Jesus, Sermon, Giving and the Lord's supper.

....AS BROTHER NKEREUWEM ARCHIBONG HARPS ON CHANGE AMONGST MEMBERS

It was an outpour of thanksgiving and praises as worshippers gathered at the Church of Christ, Idoro Obio to thank God for ushering them into the new year.

The service led by Brother Enamidem Udofia in a Praise and Worship Session had members pour out their heart of gratitude to God for seeing the new year and also tendered their request to God for a better year.

In his homily, Brother Nkereuwem Archibong admonished the faithfuls to remain steadfast while stressing the need for members to set out positive goals for the year. At the end of the powerful sermon, Three souls were added to the church through the water of baptism.

The church also witnessed a Thanksgiving from the family of Brother/Mrs Nsikan Edet who worshipped God with their new born baby.

Also was a session with Bro Godwin Isaac, who presented holy bibles to the Newly Baptized members and the Church.

The service featured Thanksgiving, Praise and worship, Sermon, Giving and Communion.
