What if the church was never meant to play defence?

Because Sunday’s message really said: what if we’ve been fighting the wrong battle?

We’ve been in survival mode.
Holding on.
Trying not to fall away.
Protecting our little corner.

Meanwhile, Jesus was like…

“You’re supposed to be advancing.”

Because here’s the plot:

The gates of hell are on defence.
Not us. Them.

The church wasn’t built to sit still, mind its business and hope the enemy leaves us alone.

We were built to move.
Push.
Take ground.

And if Sunday was only the beginning, then yeah…

Ecclesia is about to get interesting.

The Church is more than a building, a gathering, or a Sunday experience. We are the Ecclesia — God’s people, called out and gathered together for His purpose.

This Wednesday, we continue our Midweek Service with the topic: What Is the Ecclesia?”

2026 is still our year of Ebenezer. Not one word, not one promise spoken over us will fall to the ground.

We look ahead, and we can see the goodness of God.

This is our best quarter yet. And in October, we are walking in alignment with God’s will for His Church. We have been assigned. We are advancing. We are taking our place as the governing Church.

All glory to God for what He has done, what He is doing, and all that is unfolding before us. 🙌🏽
