Gal.6.17-From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
COMMENTS:
The marks of Jesus are the scars of a man who refuses to abandon Christ even when following Him becomes costly. Paul could say, “Let no one trouble me,” because his scars were evidence that he was not merely carrying a religious title. He belonged to Jesus and had suffered for His name. Now the question is If your life is examined, what would you show as evidence that you truly belong to Jesus?
LET'S PRAY:
Lord I thank You for the privilege of belonging to You. Let my life bear continually, unmistakable evidence that I am Yours. Amen.

1 Corinthians 9:2 —“I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest… I myself should be a castaway.”
DANGER OF FALLING AWAY:
Paul understood that preaching to others does not exempt him from personal obedience. Therefore, he disciplined himself and remained watchful over his spiritual life. Falling away can begin gradually through neglecting God’s Word, tolerating sin, and withdrawing from fellowship. We must never become so confident in our faith that we stop watching and praying. Guard your walk, discipline your flesh, remain in fellowship, study the Word, and stay steadfast in Christ.
LET’S PRAY:
Lord, help me remain faithful to You until the end. Keep me from spiritual carelessness, compromise and from falling away. Give me grace to discipline myself, obey Your Word and live a life that is pleasing to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Rev.3.5 - He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
DANGER OF FALLING AWAY:
The statement, “I will not blot out his name,” should make every believer walk with the Lord seriously . It implies the sobering possibility of a name being removed. Salvation is not a licence to become careless and deliberately return to a life of sin.
The Christian journey requires continuing in faith and steadfastness in Christ. Jesus said, “He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved” (Matthew 24:13). Therefore, do not merely rejoice that your name has been written; live in such a way that you remain an overcomer until the end.
LET'S PRAY:
Lord Jesus, give me the grace to remain faithful to the end. Keep me from falling away and help me to overcome every trial. May my name remain in the Book of Life. Amen.

2 Peter 2:21 — “It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command.”
COMMENTS:
Knowing Christ is a great privilege, but it also carries great responsibility. God does not call us merely to know the truth; He calls us to live by it. Turning away after knowing the way of righteousness is attracts serious consequences.
Therefore, let our knowledge of God produce obedience, perseverance and a life that remains faithful to Christ. Do not return to the life Christ delivered you from. Hold firmly to Him until the end.
LET'S PRAY:
Lord, give me the grace to remain faithful to You and never turn back from the way of righteousness. Amen.

Hebrews 3:14—We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first.
COMMENTS:
Salvation begins when we genuinely receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, but Scripture also calls us to continue in faith. Hebrews 3:14 presents perseverance as evidence that we truly share in Christ: we must hold firmly to our faith until the end.
A believer must therefore not become careless or turn away and lose his or her salvation. Scripture repeatedly warns against falling away and urges believers to remain steadfast (John 15:6; Colossians 1:22–23; 2 Peter 2:20–22).
Our confidence is not in our own strength, but in Christ. Yet we must continually abide in Him, obey His Word, guard our faith and endure to the end. Do not only begin well, but remain faithful until the end.
LET'S PRAY:
Lord Jesus, keep me steadfast in You. Give me grace to remain faithful, resist every temptation that I may not fall away. Amen.

Psalm 32:2 — “Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit.”
COMMENTS:
True blessedness is not perfection, but God’s forgiveness and a sincere heart. When we stop hiding sin and sincerely repent, God forgives, cleanses and restores. “Whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy” (Prov. 28:13). Never let guilt keep you from God; come to Him honestly.
LET’S PRAY:
Lord, search my heart, forgive my sins, remove every deceit, and help me walk in truth before You. Let Your forgiveness and a clean heart be my portion, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

1Cor.10.31-Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
COMMENTS:
God created us in His image (Gen. 1:27), so our lives should reflect Him. Our words, character, choices, relationships, and conduct should bring Him honour. Jesus said, “Let your light so shine before men…that they may glorify your Father” (Matt. 5:16). Don’t live for human applause; let your life point people to Christ.
LET’S PRAY:
Father, thank You for creating me in Your image. Let my thoughts, words, character, and actions reflect You. May my life bring You honour and cause others to glorify Your name. Amen.

1 Samuel 16:7 — “The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”
COMMENTS:
Human beings often judge by appearance, mistakes, weaknesses, and past failures. But God sees beyond what is visible. He saw David beyond his shepherd’s clothing, Peter beyond his failures and Saul beyond his past persecution. God looks at the heart and sees what a person can become by His grace.
LET’S PRAY:
Lord, help me not to define people by their weaknesses. Give me eyes to see beyond their failures, discern their value and recognize Your image in them. Help me to correct with love, forgive with grace and encourage people toward God's purpose for their lives.. Amen

Jas. 3:9—With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God’s likeness.
COMMENTS: Every person bears God’s image and deserves dignity. We must not honour only those who agree with us, bless us, or hold important positions, while despising those who offend or oppose us. Jesus commands us to love our neighbour as ourselves (Matt. 22:39). We can reject wrong without rejecting the person. Ask God for grace to see people through His eyes and treat them with truth, grace and honour.
LET’S PRAY: Lord, give me grace to recognize Your image in every person. Deliver me from pride, prejudice, contempt and partiality. Help me to honour every person and reflect Christ in my words and attitude. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

1 Corinthians 11:31—For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
COMMENTS:
God’s exposure is not always a punishment; sometimes it is an invitation to restoration. When God reveals what is wrong in our hearts, character, or conduct, His purpose is not to disgrace us but to bring us back to Himself. What remains hidden cannot be healed, and what we refuse to confront cannot be corrected.
Therefore, when God convicts you, do not run from Him—run to Him. Examine yourself honestly, repent sincerely and allow His grace to restore you. David understood this when he prayed, “Search me, O God, and know my heart” (Psalm 139:23–24).
LET'S PRAY:
Lord, give me the humility to examine myself, the courage to face what You expose, and the grace to repent and be restored. Let every exposure become a pathway to transformation, not shame. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
