FAMILY LIBERATION

In a biblical sense refers to seeking God's freedom for your household from spiritual bondages, generational patterns of sin, oppression, curses, or strongholds that hinder God's purposes. This draws from Jesus' mission to "proclaim liberty to the captives" (Luke 4:18) and the promise that "if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36). The Bible emphasizes that true liberation comes through repentance, faith in Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit, and standing on God's Word—not rituals or formulas.
Salvation in Christ breaks the power of sin and death (Romans 6:6-7, 8:1-2; 2 Corinthians 5:17), making believers a "new creation."
Patterns of sin or hardship can persist across generations through learned behaviors, unresolved trauma, or unrepented iniquity, but God's mercy extends "to a thousand generations" of those who love and obey Him (Exodus 20:5-6; Deuteronomy 7:9). The key is turning to God in humility.

Biblical Principles for Family Liberation
Repentance and Confession: Acknowledge personal and ancestral sins (Nehemiah 9; Daniel 9; 1 John 1:9). God responds to heartfelt turning.
Authority in Christ: Believers have authority to resist the enemy (James 4:7; Luke 10:19). Renounce bondages verbally in Jesus' name.

The Role Of Women In The Old Testament
Introduction
In ancient Israel, women were considered to be members of the "family offaith."
As such, they could enter into most of the areas of worship.
The Law directed all men to appear before the Lord three times a year.
Apparently the women went with them on some occasions (Deut 29:10, 11; Neh 8:2; Joel
2:16), but they were not required to go. Perhaps women were not required to go because
of their important duties as wives and mothers.
For instance, Hannah went to Shiloh with her husband and asked the Lord for a
son (I Sam 1:3-18). Later, when the child was born, she told her husband, "I will not go
up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before the
Lord, and there abide forever " (vs 22).
As head of the family, the husband or father presented the sacrifices and offerings
on behalf of the entire family (Lev 1:2). But the wife might also be present.
Women attended the Feast of Tabernacles (Deut 16:14), the yearly Feast of the
Lord (Judg 21:19-21), and the Festival of the New Moon (2Ki 4:23).
One sacrifice that only the women gave to the Lord was offered after the birth of a
child:
"And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she
shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a
turtledove for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the
priest" (Lev 12:6).
Several Old Testament women were famous for their faith. Included in the list in
Hebrews 11 are two women, Sarah and Rahab (Gen 21; Josh 2; 6:22-25).
Hannah was a godly example of the Israelite mother: She prayed to God; she
believed that God heard her prayers; and she kept her promise to God. Her story is found
in 1 Samuel 1.
A. MIRIAM
Miriam, the older sister of Moses, was a most remarkable woman.
1. Saved Moses' Life
The Pharaoh had ordered all the Israelite male children killed. The baby Moses'
life was in danger, so his mother "took for him an ark of bulrushes... and put the child in
it; and she laid the ark in the reed bushes by the river's edge " (Exo 2:3).
This was a perilous moment for Moses. But his courageous older sister MIRIAM,
even though a child at the time, stayed nearby "...to watch what would be done to him"
(Exo 2:4).
When Miriam saw Pharaoh's daughter rescue Moses, she immediately presented a
plan of action. "Then said his sister [Miriam] to Pharaoh's daughter, Shall I go and call
to thee a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for thee? " (Exo 2:7).
Miriam arranged for Moses' mother to nurse him. Thus Miriam's quick,
courageous action saved Moses. We owe the woman Miriam a lot. What would the world
be like today had we not had the ministry of Moses?

WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP AND MINISTRY

Introduction
"The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those WOMEN that
published it" (Ps 68:11).

The word COMPANY is translated from the Hebrew word tsaba. Strong's
Concordance says it is feminine in gender and means "a mass of women organized for
warfare [an army]."
This verse then clearly establishes a prophetic promise of a day when women would be liberated to publish (preach) the gospel and do the work of the Lord along with men
The verse then is rightly translated, "The Lord gave the word: great was the mass of women organized for warfare that published if. "
What follows is written in defense of this special force of women.
The object of this section, then, is two fold:
(1) to release women to find their
rightful place in God's work, so they can fulfill their ministries for His glory; and
(2) to change the attitude of male church leaders so they encourage women to fulfill their God-given calling.
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy... Even on my servants, both men and women, I
will pour out my Spirit in those days" (Acts 2:17,18 niv).
Three things are required to get anything done in this world. These are time, people and money.
The devil has used a very successful strategy to stop the Church from fulfilling the Great Commission to evangelize the world. Half the people (women) are often denied
participation in the process by many church groups.
Can you imagine any army being successful which will prevent half the soldiers from fighting in the war?
A. GOD'S PURPOSE FOR MAN AND WOMAN
Let's go back to the book of beginnings (Genesis) and look at the creation of woman: "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him;
male and female created he them.
"And the Lord God said, It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him" (Gen 1:27; 2:18).
"And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and
replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion... "(Gen 1:28)

DO AWAY WITH IDOL WORSHIP

The Bible consistently and strongly condemns idol worship (also called idolatry), treating it as a fundamental rejection of the one true God. This theme runs throughout both the Old and New Testaments.

OLD TESTAMENT
The Ten Commandments declare..
Exodus 20:3–5 , Deuteronomy 5:7–9):
“You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God…”
Other key passages include:
Deuteronomy 4:15–19 and Deuteronomy 27:15 warn against making any image or likeness to worship.
Isaiah 44:9–20 mocks the futility of idol-making: a craftsman cuts down a tree, uses part for fuel, and carves the rest into a god that cannot see, hear, or save.
Psalm 115:4–8 and Psalm 135:15–18 describe idols as the work of human hands—mouths that cannot speak, eyes that cannot see—and say those who make and trust them become like them.
Prophets such as Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Hosea, and Habakkuk repeatedly denounce Israel’s idolatry as spiritual adultery and the reason for judgment and exile.
The Old Testament presents idolatry not merely as a religious error but as a betrayal of the covenant relationship with Yahweh.

NEW TESTAMENT
The New Testament continues the same prohibition and expands it:
1 Corinthians 10:14: “Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.”
1 John 5:21: “Little children, keep yourselves from idols.”
Acts 17:29 (Paul in Athens): God is not like gold, silver, or stone images formed by human art and imagination.
Romans 1:18–25 links the rejection of the true God with the exchange of His glory for images of created things, describing this as the root of further moral corruption.
Colossians 3:5 and Ephesians 5:5 broaden the concept, equating greed and covetousness with idolatry (anything that takes the place of God in the heart).
Revelation 21:8 and 22:15 list idolaters among those who face final judgment.
Summary of the Biblical Teaching
God alone is to be worshiped; no created thing, image, or representation may receive that worship.
Idols are powerless and deceptive.
Idolatry includes not only physical statues but also anything (money, power, pleasure, self, etc.) that displaces God as the ultimate object of trust and devotion.
The consistent call is to do away with idols and serve the living God.

PRAYER POINTS AGAINST WITCHCRAFT

1. O Lord My Father, by the Blood of Jesus Christ I decree that every incantation, hexes, jinxes and divination against my life, family, and destiny be nullified by the power of the blood of Jesus.
For it is written "Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel" (Numbers 23:23).

2. O Lord My Father, by the Blood of Jesus Christ I dismantle every altar of witchcraft raised against my progress, and I expose every hidden works of darkness in the name of Jesus Christ
For it is written "You shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire" (Deuteronomy 7:5).

3. Holy Spirit shield my mind, body, and spirit from spiritual attacks. Let Your consuming fire burn away any trace of occult manipulation in the name of Jesus Christ..
For it written "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn" (Isaiah 54:17).

4. O Lord My Father by the Blood of Jesus Christ I command every arrow of witchcraft and setback fired into my life to go back to the sender and I break all generational curses operating in my lineage in the name of Jesus Christ
For it is written "He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made. His mischief shall return upon his own head" (Psalm 7:15-16).
