Characteristics of Love:
1. Love sufferers long
2. Love is kind
3. Love envieth not.

Genesis 4vs 1 down. Proverbs 14 vs 30, 1st Peter 2 vs 1, Mark 7 vs 21

Envy is a resentful desire or something owned by another.

Envy is a very dangerous thing and if everyone can change and turn away from being envious, then things will be much better than it is. We need to love one another.

Cain offered offerings that God didn't respect but God respected Abels offerings. And cos of the responds from God, Cain became envious and killed his brother Abel.

What is rhe nature of your offering to God? Is God happy and respectful of your offering? Are you envious of your brother or your sisters offerings? If you had the chance, would you kill your fellow people just like Cain killed his brother?.

How are you killing people that you resent and are envious of? Is it by backbiting about them gossip, hatred, covetousness etc. Change for the best so the Holy Spirit will dwell in you and give you love for one another.

Hello brethren. Happy new week. May the Lord perfect all that concerns us this new week.

Here's the charge we have for you today from Christ Rescue Miniatry. A recap of where we started this 2022

We are still on the series: WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE BIBLE?

I n part 1
We were shown the Contents of the Bible books in the bible, Old and New Testament. How they were written and creation itself.

In part 2
We were shown the Mind of God concerning man in the Bible. Ps 119: 4 Jer 22: 4 etc. We were shown that God didn't make man in the image of animals or things but in His own image.
God originally made us perfect , wonderful, clean, sinless until the devil came.
The Mind of God was for man to dominate the world but man fiailed. May we by God's mercy live ass God has originally planned for us to be in Jesus name
amen.

And the most recent. Part 3:
The State of Man: Gen 3:

Due to the fall of our first Parents, Adam amd Eve who were deceived into sin , man's state was changed from being in dominion to being the one that is oppressed .

The devil came deceiving Eve and she bought into the deception. Adam who received the instruction, ate of the fruit as well and they didn't become like God as the devil had told them they would be, but they inturn realised they were naked and ran to hide themselves from God. Their sin made them ashamed. You know the rest of the history.

But the big questions were:
Did she not see that was the tree they were forbidden to eat?
Did Adam not know that was the fruit as well?
Why did they decide to obey the voice of the devil than that of God?

It all lies on the power of information. The devil was able to manipulate Eve with words, visuals and emotions. What is it you are hearing? What do you give your self to listening to? What circle of friends do you keep and what message do you all pass aroun? The Bible says bad/evil communication corrupts Good manners.

What you should do:
Guard your heart with all deligency says the bible. Resist the devil and he will free from you.
Reject and never entertain any message or info that will mar you.
Learn to go back to God concerning every situation in your life and He will gladly take you back like the prodigal son.

May God's mercy be upon us a s we sojourn this earth . May we live the original plan that God created us to be in Jesus name amen.

Exhortation

What do you know about your Bjble? Do you find tine to study your Bible? Do you even have a Bible? This is one book to know very well as it has truths and meanings that pertains to our lives and everything generally. We need to pay great attention to the book called The Bible.

What is a Bible: Dictionary defines the Bibls as the holy book. Another defines the Bible as a Christian holy book.

I define my Bible as a name given to a book written by inspired men of God.

The Bible is not a novel, literature, magazine journal, handbook ,pamphlet, text book etc. It's am important book that will guide you to the knowledge of who God really is and who you can become on life and the authority you have as a child of God.

Bible is a divine library that speaks the truth and cannot fade away. Other things may be lost, but the word of God stands sure.

The Bible contains 66 books known as the Old and New testament.

The old testaments tells us about people of old, like Abraham, Adam, the prophets of old etc.

The new testaments tells us about the time of Jssus.
Once again, when was rhe last time you read your Bible? The word of God says: Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed but rightly dividing the word of truth.

May God help us to study the Bible and learn how to live according to the dictates there in, in Jesus name amen.

Happy new week wonderful people. It's another Sunday and we will share with you what took place in Our place of worship: CHRIST RESCUE MINISTRY.

We had our Men's Fellowship Day with the Theme:
I AM THE HEAD.

That also dounles as the topic for the days sermon brought to business as follows:

Topic: I AM THE HEAD
Speaker: Pastor Emmanuel Archibong
Bible Poetion: Gen1: 26; Deut 28: 13

EXHORTATION
According to the bible, we are all created to be the Head. Therefore, nothing should sn**ch that haadship from us. Do not let anyone nor anything deprive you of this responsibility.

The head carries a lot of responsibilities. Just as the head houses the brain and the brain sends signals to every part of the body before they are carried out. As such, the head is a very important and essential part of the human body. Like wise, as a spiritual head, man has responsibilities in the body of Christ and should live towards achieving them. We do not need to slumber nor be a sluggard. May God help us in Jesus name amen. Prov 12: 24 (The head of the diligent bear rule....)

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HEAD:
1. A head should be willing to restore and help a falling brother. Gal. 6: 1
2. They should have a heart to care for others and the hurty.
3. Avoid division and arguments. 1st Cor. 3: 1-3
4. A head should seek God's face to know the will of God. Eph5: 16-17
5. The head should edify and encourage others. Rom15: 13
6. A head should be patient with those in position and leadership. 2nd Tim2: 24-25
7. The head should take pleasure to offer worship unto God than in the pleasures of the world. 1st Pet2:5; Eph19:20
8. A leader should have a spiritual mind, not giving thoughts to carnal things and unclean words. Rom8: 5-6.
9. A head should engage, believe and share the word of God.
10. A head must be a good example and seek wisdom in all its dealing with God and man. Prov 4; Eccl7: 19; 10:10

May God help us to be the Head just as His words entails us to be in Jesus name amen.

Exhortation:
Who is Jesus to you?
Do you look up to Him
Who are those who look up to Jesus?

Those who look up to Jesus are those who have access to Him. They have insight and revelation of who He is and depend solely and totally on Him as the author and finisher of their faith.

What happens when you are faced with difficulties and challenges? Do you look at the storms like Peter in Matt 14 and loose faith? Or you look up to Gid as the only one who can make a way?
The minute you stop looking at Jesu, you sink. So keep looking unto Him.

Why must you look up to Jesus?
1. 2cor 2:20 God's promises are sure.
2. Acts 4: 10 & 12 Salvation is only thru Jesus
3. Col 1: 27 He is our hope of glory
4. Matt 11:28 Jesus will carry your burdens
5 John 16:33 In Jesus, there peace

May God help us to look up to Jesus in all areas of our lives in Jesus name amen.
