The sermon emphasises the importance of deep deliverance through understanding the root problems of spiritual battles. It asserts that mere salvation does not eliminate challenges from past affiliations. Believers must confront these roots, breaking sinful ties to achieve true liberation and prevent ongoing struggles marked by family curses and covenants.

Daniel 2:22 (KJV) says: โHe revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.โ
In life, this scripture is telling us that there are certain things that are deep, there are certain things that are secret, and there are certain things that are on the surface.
Whenever a believer comes across a problem, your mind should go to a tree. A tree has a root, stem, branches, leaves, and sometimes fruits.
When you battle the stem or the branches or the leaves or the fruits and ignore the root, you can only obtain partial or surface deliverance.
But when you begin to pray from the root, you obtain complete or deep deliverance. So, deep deliverance is root deliverance. A lot of people are battling with what we call root battles.
The problem with most of our problems is that we either do not know the root or we are unable to dig deep into the root.
I do not know what you have been taught. Perhaps, you have been taught that once you are born again, all your problems disappear. God have mercy on you.
It cannot be true at all. You are a celebrated joker if you imagine that you are automatically cleansed from all the past satanic associations or that somehow you are immune to the consequences of your actions.
Salvation does not exempt you from the battle of life, but it gives you equipment to win that battle. This is why until many understand the ministry of deliverance, the ministry of conflict, and the ministry of confronting root battles, they suffer from the cradle to the grave.
I will tell you also: being born again is not the solution but gives a solution to the problem. The Bible says, โWhosoever is in Christ has become a new creature: old things are passed away, behold; all things have become newโ.
Those old things that have passed away are your old behaviours like drinking and smoking; they have passed away. But if you have formed an association with the devil before, you need to break it. You were sleeping around with all kinds of people? You need to break the soul ties.
This is why it is possible that somebody may be a Christian and the enemy will still be pursuing the person, and the person says, โLet me go!โ But the enemy says, โWe cannot let you go; we are already in the root. You need to remove me from the root before I can let you go.โ And many are playing with fire. They are doing what they are not supposed to do.
If you allow somebody to capture you and inject hard drugs like co***ne or he**in into your body, whether you treat it as a joke or not, it will work against you.
While the blood of Jesus washes away every sin, it does not destroy curses and covenants unless we address them and destroy them by that blood.
The devil is a legal expert. So, for the battles that many are facing, the reason those battles are still standing is because the root is yet to be dealt with. When you deal with that root, that is what is known as deep deliverance.
โ I am praying for somebody here today, that the angels of war will walk back into your foundation, into your roots, and get solutions for you, in the name of Jesus.
It was at Congo Kinshasa, where we were having a crusade, and I called a prayer point, and everybody began to pray. Beloveth, they can really pray in those countries. In that crusade, there was a young lady at the back who was praying like a mad person. She was praying so hard, and the prayer point was very simple: root battles, I am not your candidate, die in the name of Jesus.
She was 46 or 47 at the time, a virgin but not married, simply because the root had not been touched. But as she prayed that day, all of a sudden, her own mother, who did not attend the crusade, rushed into the crusade ground and went to the lady and said, โSee, stop the prayer. See, I am the one who took your marriage and threw it into the River Congo.โ
โSee that man calling prayers at the front? Go and tell him to teach you how to take it from the river. They should stop praying that people in charge should die.โ The lady continued the prayers. Before she reached home from the crusade, her mother was gone. The following month, she got married. Why? For the first time, the sword had touched blood.
The root was addressed. This is where we are going now.
PRAYER POINTS.
1. Family battles, Family battles, Family battles, hear the Word of the Lord: die, in the name of Jesus.
2. Evil tongues assigned to damage my existence, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
3. (Pray this 3 hot times) Long-term battles of my fatherโs house, long-term battles of my motherโs house, die in the name of Jesus.
