Self Contextualised Scriptures
Part 2
Interpreting based on or for a personality: Self Contextual is with the Spirit of God, the (Trinity: Holy Spirit verse 4; Lord verse 5 and God verse 6) see below example in different callings:
1 Corinthians 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
1 Corinthians 12:6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
This is where we need the Spirit of discernment.
Therefore, if we bring or look at it in Literary Context or Scriptural Context: it may be misleading because of the proportional differences and time, season of operation. It's like Jesus told His Disciples not to go with bags, shoes, etc while on evangelism and afterward, He says go with your belongs, it's differences is in by Context of different place, time, and are of the people they were send to, etc.
It's like Jesus says in another aspect, they should go for evangelism two by two in the Gospel message and in the Book of Acts 8:26-40 Phillip went alone to meet with the Ethiopian Officer on his way home, this is a Self Contextualised as the Holy Spirit led Philip. Even when Philip went to Samaritan (Acts 8:5-13) to preach was alone with the Holy Ghost!
So, Self Contextualised is the work of the Holy Spirit telling a person to, not by saying "it must be" - Scriptural Contextualised or Literary Contextualised before is correct Surprisingly, after Philip had finished, the Holy Spirit took him off (he disappeared) Acts 8:39-40, will the Holy Spirit lead everyone to disappeared, if Philip must go with many people or with one person. Please, let be our selves Individually.
This is where many Born Again has made lots of mistakes. They want to do the same Way the other person does or goes. They forgot that destinies of Callings are different.
Even in our social affairs like employment or career, academic pursuits, etc, we want to be like others, like our Spiritual Fathers or Mentors. They quote Scriptures to support their ideas and we accept all and dwell in errors by not able to get to our website of ministries and be fulfilled. Is not everyone must be preaching on Radio or TV, is not everyone should write books through the unique messages they preach and teach, is not that others must pass through what or the way you went through (1 Cor. 12:28-30; Rom. 12:6-8) before you can agree with his or her ministry or purposes. There are "diversities of gifts" and services,
Most of our Senior Pastor or those who had made it in Life do apply the Literary Contexts or Spiritual and say all what they think like and we all believed and get confused at the end of the day: specially, if we now noticed one of this Senior Pastor, in their mistakes or errors.
Elijah didn't do so with Elisha, that he must follow him right away, he allowed Elisha to manifest himself by the directives of the Holy Ghost and he went back to celebrate his Calling and Ministry with his people before going to his Spiritual Father in the Lord, Elijah (1 Kings 19:19, 21) but don't be surprised that we will quote Jesus calling his Disciples (Matt. 4:18-20, 22) that they left immediately and followed him. That, it must be so, how?
