Jesus did not promise us that following Him would make our lives easier. He promised a cross, and then He said pick it up and follow Him (Matthew 16:24, NIV).
The problem is that most of us want to follow Jesus on our own terms. We want the best of both worlds, and it just doesn't work that way.
Discipleship is not a negotiation. It's a surrender. Everything you are, everything you had planned, everything you're holding onto, must be laid down at Jesus' feet. Daily.
If you are following Christ, it's all or nothing.
If you want prayer to give your all to Christ, to pick up your cross daily and walk with Him, comment "SURRENDER" below.

"Dare to Be a Daniel"

"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind..." — Romans 12:2 (NKJV)

"Beloved, we live in a world that is constantly trying to mold us into its own image—a 'mold' marked by compromising values, impatience, and instant gratification. Peer pressure is simply Satan’s tool to make you abandon your integrity to gain temporary acceptance.

But remember the story of Daniel. He was surrounded by a pagan culture, pressured to eat and drink things that went against his principles. Yet, Daniel 'purposed in his heart' that he would not defile himself (Daniel 1:8).
You are not designed to blend in; you are designed to stand out.
Your value is in Christ, not in the approval of your peers.
If you are pressured to compromise your health habits, your speech, your faith, or your purity, take a stand. It is better to stand alone with God than to walk in the crowd away from Him. Be the 'salt of the world' and exert positive pressure on your peers, rather than letting them pull you into the darkness.

Today, rely on the Holy Spirit to strengthen your resolve, and 'Dare to be a Daniel!' "

"Rise and Shine: A Call to Stand Firm"
1. Your Youth is Not a Waiting Room
Do not believe the lie that you are too young to make a difference. God is not calling for perfect people; He is calling for willing hearts. "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity" (1 Timothy 4:12). Your youth is your mission field, not a waiting room for service.

Don't tarnish an innocent person's reputation.
This world is very small.
Your down fall will be great.

God made us in His image. How we treat people matters more than what we say.

Being kind still counts. Today, choose one simple way to show someone that you are a follower of Christ.

1. Actively Love: True love is not just a feeling; it is an active interest in the well-being of others, acting as a "little Christ" to them.

2. Extend Compassion: Treat others as good as you are, not as bad as they are.

3. Service Over Self: Seek the good of others, even when it is inconvenient or unreciprocated.

4. Speak with Grace: Let the law of kindness be on your lips and avoid gossip or criticism.

5. Be Patient: Bear with one another and forgive, just as Christ forgave you.
6. See Christ in Others: Treat people as if you are interacting directly with Jesus (Matthew 25:40).

“Words of kindness, looks of sympathy, expressions of appreciation, would to many a struggling, lonely one be as a cup of cold water to a thirsty soul.” — Ellen G. White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 7, p. 49.
