Members of True Word Gospel Ministries, Abak, gathered on Sunday, 26th July, 2026, for the churchβs Mid-Year Thanksgiving Service in a joyous celebration of Godβs faithfulness, mercy, and abundant blessings throughout the first half of the year.
The service was marked by an atmosphere of vibrant worship, heartfelt praise, fervent prayers, and thanksgiving as the congregation reflected on Godβs unfailing love, divine protection, provision, and the numerous testimonies that have defined their journey this year. It was a moment of deep gratitude as members returned all glory to God for His sustaining grace and enduring faithfulness.
Speaking during the service, church leaders encouraged members to remain steadfast in their faith, emphasizing that every testimony, miracle, breakthrough, and answered prayer experienced by the ministry is a testament to Godβs limitless power and unwavering love.
One of the major highlights of the thanksgiving celebration was the warm reception accorded to Brother Daniel, who returned safely after the successful completion of his military training. The congregation joined his family in celebrating Godβs protection over his life throughout the training period, offering prayers for divine wisdom, strength, courage, and continued success as he begins the next phase of his military career.
Members also took time to testify to Godβs goodness, sharing accounts of divine healing, restoration, open doors, financial breakthroughs, and other remarkable acts of Godβs intervention. The testimonies served as a reminder that God remains faithful to His promises and continues to manifest His power in the lives of His children.
Delivering an exhortation during the service, Amb. Utipobong Obed encouraged the congregation to cultivate a lifestyle of thanksgiving, stressing that gratitude is a powerful expression of faith and a key to experiencing greater manifestations of Godβs blessings. Speaking on the theme, βGod Is With Me,β he reminded worshippers that Godβs abiding presence is the believerβs greatest assurance through every season of life, urging them to remain steadfast, trust in His promises, and continually acknowledge His goodness.
As the church looks forward to the second half of the year, the congregation renewed its commitment to deeper service, unwavering faith, and total dependence on God, expressing confidence that greater testimonies, favour, and supernatural manifestations lie ahead.
The Mid-Year Thanksgiving Service concluded in an atmosphere of joy, praise, and celebration, with worshippers leaving refreshed, strengthened in faith, and united in one resounding declaration.
