Can we stop talking about "Work-Life Balance" and start talking about reality?

The phrase "work-life balance" makes it sound like every single day should be perfectly split: 8 hours of flawless work, 8 hours of pristine personal time/hobbies, and 8 hours of deep sleep.

But let’s be real, some weeks, your career requires 80-100% of your energy because of a major launch or project.

Other weeks, your family, your mental health, or your spiritual life needs 80-100% of your focus.

It's a constant dance, a rhythm, an integration, not a static scale.

Instead of feeling guilty that your life isn’t perfectly balanced every day, aim for seasonal alignment.

Be fully present wherever you are.

When you are at work, execute excellently.

When you log off, actually log off and give your loved ones or your spiritual life your full attention.
