"But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me." (1Corinthians 15.10 NKJV).

Everything you've accomplished is entirely due to God's grace. A man who understands God's word and His workings in men's lives understands that it is only Grace that works things out, not strength or experience. When a man begins to take inventory of what he has done, whether, for men or God's service, he is likely to exhibit pride, which will lead to His downfall.
Apostle Paul acknowledges that it was God's Grace at work in his life that enabled him to accomplish so much. At one point, he also admitted that he had not achieved his goal and promised to continue striving to please God more. Nebuchadnezzar was punished for seven years because he refused to acknowledge God's Grace. Something is wrong with a man who believes he has accomplished so much that he deserves praise from both men and God.
It is an honour to serve God and make a difference in the lives of men. You should be weary in your service to God and men by constantly checking to see if what you did was in accordance with God's will and proportionate to the grace you have received from Him. Only God can determine the sincerity and efficacy of men's efforts toward Him.

Lord! It is your grace that brought me this far, let me never fall short of your Grace in Jesus' name. Amen
