π MAKING YOUR WAY PROSPEROUS
π JOSH. 1:1-8
Prosperity is not an accident; it is an intentional path you pave with your actions and alignment with the Word.
Keys:
π Rising and going over Jordan (that barrier between your history and your destiny). Prosperity begins when you stop mourning what is dead. To make your way prosperous, you must rise above the "dead past," outdated systems and leadership structures. Isa. 60:1, Phil. 3:13
π Recognizing your strength, talent and peculiarity. You cannot prosper in a lane that isn't yours. Stop trying to be a "Moses" when God called you to be a "Joshua." 1 Pet. 2:9
π Studying the word and relevant books. Prosperity is a knowledge-based economy. You must be a student of the Word, but also a student of your industry. Combine spiritual revelation with intellectual competence. 2 Tim. 2:15
π Embracing meditation as a deliberate habit/culture. If you can see the prosperity in your mind through meditation, your hands will eventually touch it. Ruminate on that thought/word until it becomes a conviction. 1 Tim. 4:15
π Engaging the abiding presence of God. Engaging the presence of God ensures that you aren't laboring under your own steam. When God is in the boat, the catch is guaranteed. Gen. 28:15, 39:2, Lk. 5:1-7
π Attending, separately and sufficiently, to devotion and development. Many are devoted but undeveloped; others are developed but have no devotion. To make your way prosperous, you must attend to both. Ps. 78:72
Devotion: Keeps your heart right with God (Integrity).
Development: Keeps your skills sharp for the marketplace (Competence).
π Practicing the principles of investment.
Prosperity that lasts is prosperity that is managed. Don't just "make" money; "multiply" it. Eccl. 11:1-2
