Habakkuk 3:17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:

3:18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

3:19 The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

TAKING YOUR PRAISE TO THE NEXT LEVEL

Most people are waiting for when things will get better for them to praise God. Some sing and dance, when some good things just happened. That's good. It's good to express your heart felt gratitude to God when has done something great for you. That's very natural for men of good will.

But there's another level of Parise that is very difficult for the natural man.
Praising God when your heart expectations didn't come through. When it's clear you are not going to pull through that whole circumstance.

When I read through Habakkuk 3:17, I took note of the word " shall not", not "did not". Now, that's a state of hopelessness, because it didn't and doesn't look like any favourable result can happen in the nearest future.

Here you haven't gotten the result you wanted and it doesn't look like you will have it in the nearest future.
As a sick person, you have not responded to treatment and the pain is still there and it's not abetting. Ordinarily that's the right time to mourn, that's the right time to be depress. Praising God here doesn't look like the best idea.

You have just been disappointed in a relationship, you just got your sack letter, somebody have just told you that he is no longer going no with an earlier promise.

The truth is that you can change the narrative, you can cause a major turn around.
When you Parise God in the midst of your challenges, it may not necessarily change the situation immediately, but it will change you.

Most times what you need is not a change of circumstance but a change of yourself, a change of attitude towards the circumstances, that change will eventually be the basis for the change you have ever desired in that situation.

Most times what God requires from you is to take your praise to the level of SACRIFICE.
You can start now to praise God, what dose not look like will happen soon, thank God for victories you are yet to have, thank God for your perfect health in the midst of the pains.

The strength of God, is coming upon you now, he is making your feet to be like the Hinds feet, you are walking out of the ugly circumstance.
Praise God.
