SUPER GRACE SERVICE

We had an awesome time in God's presence today as we gleaned wisdom to activate grace to finish strong.

1st Corinthians 15:10
“But by the grace of God, I am what I am and His Grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain.

Grace is of two sides of a coin :The unmerited favour of God and The ability of God upon a man.

We also welcomed and celebrated our first years officially today.

Grace has indeed been released upon us to finish strong in this season. Hallelujah.

WALK IN THE LIGHT.

Isaiah 2: 2,5. Now it shall come to pass in the latter days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow to it. O house of Jacob, come and let us WALK IN THE LIGHT OF THE LORD.

• It's in the will of God that those that are of Zion will rise to enviable heights in these last days, causing many to be drawn into the house of God.
• But those who will experience this glory are those who will be careful in searching out and walking in the wisdom of Zion.
• Commit to search out the wisdom of God and walk in glory He has ordained for you in this season.
• His will for you is to reign as kings in the realm of life. Press into wisdom and walk in this kingly glory. Halleluyah!

Isaiah 60: 1. Arise, shine for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

Prayer for the day:
• I commit to searching out Kingly wisdom in Zion.

Confession for the day:
• My life is from glory to glory for I walk in the light of Zion. Halleluyah!

MODERATOR : How can one handle sexual pressure while on campus?

YOLANDA : Always avoid the line of gunfire: do not put yourself in a position where a lecturer or guy would take sexual notice of you
Secondly consciously pray for favour from your lecturers..
Thirdly, know what triggers you and avoid them.
Also always try to discuss your feelings with your friends. Friends can place you on the right track
Always avoid compromising situations

MODERATOR : What are the practical steps to academic excellence/ is failure fatal?
MARY : you have to make up your mind that you want to succeed.
Next you ask God to help you in your academics
Thirdly you must be a voracious reader. Make a reading timetable and be disciplined enough to follow the timetable and know what works for you.
Fourthly always be punctual to school and take your lecturers very serious. Also take your assignments seriously..
Finally, have a goal for the semester. Set excellent goals, and be accountable to your friends, they can serve as a reminder to you.

MODERATOR : How were able to manage politics and academics?

P. O OLIVER : Take your academics very seriously because this is the paramount reason why you are in school... Understand the main reason why you are in school and try to find a way to harness your social, political and academic life on campus. Know your academic standing first.
"Volenti non fit injuria" which means "What a man brings upon himself he should not complain"... You will be held accountable for your success or failure in academics.

NIGHT REFLECTION

MOTIVATION FOR THE WEEK.

• The attitude of people towards you should not change you from being good towards people.

• There are lots of people out there who don't value relationships and can easily betray you, but that should not stop you from trusting people.

• Manage your emotions not to transfer aggression because of hurts and betrayals inflicted on you by someone else.

• Be consistent in your core values in relating with people. Ultimately, you will prove wrong those who discredit you behind.

• Love always wins. It's a language even the blind and deaf understand. Let your communication and motives always be driven by love. You will ultimately win.

1 Cor. 13: 8a. Love never fails.
