Ten years ago, under the sovereign hand of Almighty God and apostleship of Apostle Anselm Madubuko, a life was consecrated, a voice was commissioned, and a shepherd was sent to the household of KRiC and today, we pause — with full hearts, grateful voices, and uplifted hands — to celebrate what God has done through ten extraordinary years of pastoral ordination. This is not merely a milestone of time; it is a monument of grace, a testimony to faithfulness, and a declaration that the God who calls is the God who sustains.
Dearest Dad, and amazing Lead Pastor— words feel almost insufficient to carry the weight of gratitude that fills the KRiC congregation but today, we will try. We lift our voices, our prayers, our honour, and our love, and we say to you, plainly and profoundly: thank you. Thank you for saying yes when God called over 10 years ago. Thank you for remaining when it was not easy. Thank you for pouring out your life so that others might find theirs.
Indeed, a pastor does not simply lead a church but carries a people on their knees before the throne of God, day after day, year after year, in the quiet places no one else sees. The pastoral call is unlike any other and we see it clearly everyday; It is a summon that does not punch a clock, does not take holidays from the soul, and does not offer the luxury of indifference. It is a vocation that demands the whole YOU and you've not withheld yourself — your mind committed to study, your spirit tuned to the frequency of Heaven, your hands constantly stretched out in service, and your heart ever open even when it is broken. And for more than ten years, you have carried this call with a dignity, a devotion, and a depth that has left a permanent imprint on every life you have touched.
There were mornings you preached through your own storms. There were nights you counselled others through their grief, even while yours was unspoken. There were seasons you watered this congregation with tears the church did not see and God, who sees in secret, has been faithful to honour every hidden sacrifice.
Every sermon crafted in the early hours, every hospital visit, every Night Of Impact(vigil program), every hard conversation, every moment of intercession on behalf of this flock — none of it has been forgotten before the throne of grace.
See what ten years has built; just look around this congregation and you will see the fruit of a decade of faithful ministry. You will see families restored to wholeness. You will see prodigals who found their way home. You will see young people who discovered their purpose under the canopy of your encouragement. You will see the broken who were made whole, the lost who were found, the doubting who were strengthened in faith. These are not statistics, these are souls. Living, breathing testimonies to what happens when one person obeys the call of God without reservation.
Ten years of ministry is not simply a record of sermons preached or sacraments administered. It is a tapestry woven together by thousands of ordinary moments made sacred by obedience: the gentle word spoken at just the right time, the prayer whispered over a sleeping congregation, the hand extended to the outcast, the boldness to speak truth when silence would have been easier, and the love that covered a multitude of imperfections in us and perhaps asked nothing in return.
A church does not merely grow in numbers under a faithful shepherd — it grows in depth, in love, in the knowledge of God, and in the kind of family that makes Heaven lean in and smile and Dear Dad, this is what you've made happen with a short period of ten; you've made heaven lean in and smile.
We would like you to know, the best chapters of your ministry are still being written. The God who led you through the first decade is the same God who holds the next and He has not grown weary of the work He began in you. Every gift He placed in you at ordination has been tried, tested, and refined by fire, and what stands today is not merely a pastor who has survived but one who has thrived in grace, matured in wisdom, and deepened in the Spirit of God.
Do not grow weary in well doing. The harvest that your sowing has prepared is still coming in. There are still lives yet to be transformed by the Word you carry. There are still generations yet unborn who will be shaped by the legacy you are building today. Do not measure your ministry by the metrics the world celebrates, measure it by the currency of eternity: changed hearts, redeemed lives, and a people who know their God more deeply because you walked among them.
You are not alone in this calling. KRiCGlobal stands with you, stands for you, stands by you, stands behind you, and stands in prayer for you. We are not merely your congregation, we are your own, your people, your family in faith. What you have poured into us, we now pour back into you as a well of encouragement: Keep going. Keep preaching. Keep praying. Keep believing. God is not finished with this story.
On behalf of every member of this great church family; the long-standing members who have walked this road with you from the beginning, the newer members who arrived and immediately sensed they had found a true shepherd, and every soul in between, we declare today a day of honour. Yes, we honour you not because you are perfect, but because you have been perfectly obedient to the One who called you. We honour you not because the road was easy, but because you walked it faithfully when it was hard. We honour you because you chose, day after day, year after year, to say: "Here I am, Lord, send me."
May this anniversary be a garland around your neck and a crown upon your head. May it be a moment where Heaven and Earth agree: this servant has been faithful. May it fill you with a fresh fire, a renewed vision, and a joy that overflows from the deep wells of all God has done. And may the years that lie ahead be your greatest yet — richer in fruit, fuller in grace, and more glorious in testimony than anything the first decade could contain.
We pray God bless you with peace — the peace that surpasses understanding, that guards your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray God bless you with strength — strength that is renewed daily like the morning, that does not faint nor grow weary. We pray God bless you with joy — the full, unshakeable joy of the Lord that is your fortress and your song. We pray God bless you with long life — that you may yet see your children's children walk in the ways of the Lord. And we pray God bless you with love — the love of a congregation who sees you, who values you, who prays for you, and who is profoundly grateful that God chose to place you among us.
To God be all the glory for ten wonderful years. Happy, blessed, and deeply joyful anniversary. Here is to the next decade, and all the glorious things God shall do through your continued YES!
With all our love and honour,
KRiCGlobal
