I VISITED MY OLD, COMMITTED AND FAITHFULL MEMBER IN UEC ( Founded as Qua Iboe church) though she was very old and couldn't attend service but she still maintain her support and faith in Jesus. As we prayed finished, she said pastor take this one thousand and support the ongoing building project in the church. ( I WAS challenged deeply) but something elso happened... One of the mama's pikin around( let me use pigin) who now worships with another denominations got angry and said " PASTOR U PEOPLE IN UEC STILL COLLECT MONEY FROM THIS OLD WOMAN WHO IS NOT WORKING it is not fair...( mama's Reply inspired both of Us) she said.. YOU PEOPLE SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT WE ALL STARTED WITH UEC, IT IS WITH UEC FAITH I TRAINED U BEFORE U NOW GROW TO JOIN OTHER DENOMINATIONS, THE FOUNDATION WAS UEC PLEASE MY CHILDREN I APPRECIATE UR NEW STATUS OF FAITH BUT PLEASE DON'T FORGET THE MILK THAT STARTED UR LIFE. I TRAINED U IN UEC B/4 U NOW GROW TO THIS UR NEW FAITH DONT NEGLECT TO APPRECIATE UR FOUNDATION, UEC FAITH WAS THE MILK THAT I USED TO GREW U, IF IT WAS A WRONG MILK U WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN THIS STRONG.( At this point our eyes both were opened) the mama pikin with an understanding and heart of humor replied. MAMA U ARE RIGHT, PASTOR IAM SORRY, LET IT BE THAT I WAS JOKING, IAM PROUD OF MAMA, SHE GAVE US A HEAVY TRAINING THAT OTHERS ENVY US IN CHARACTER IN AZUIYI AND IT WAS IN UEC FAITH. IAM SORRY.. I WILL SUPPORT MAMA AS SHE SUPPORT THE ONGOING PROJECTS. ( MAMA SAID) GOD BLESS U, I ALWAYS TELL MY CHILDREN " Where ever you are remember to support the church that your MAMA used to build your faith.. If mama was wrongly discipled in a wrong faith she wouldn't be this strong in her faith, service and committed. ( I PASTOR DARLINGTON AT THAT POINT REMEMBERED MY OWN MUM HOW SHE TAUGHT US BACK THEN WITH THE BIBLE AND TELLS US STORIES IN THE BIBLE) I decided that this visitation to mama has really reminded us that SO MANY SEEMS TO HAVE NEGLECTED ( NOT ALL) THE FOUNDING MILK THAT GREW THEM.
