TOPIC: *THE INDESCRIBABLE HELP*
TEXT: 2 Samuel 6:1-11

2 Samuel 6:11
*So the ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite for three months, and the Lord blessed Obed-edom and all his household (family).*

*IN DESCRIBABLE HELP*
Indescribable help refers to:
* Unutterable support: Assistance that transcends words and language.
* Inexpressible aid: Help that cannot be fully articulated or explained.
* Unseen guidance: Support that comes from an invisible or intangible source.

The Israelites set out to bring back to Jerusalem the ark of the covenant and all preparations were made.
2 Samuel 6:2 *And David arose and went with all those who were with him to Baale-judah [Kiriath-jearim], to bring up from there [to Jerusalem] the ark of God which is called by the Name—the very Name of the Lord of hosts, who dwells enthroned above the cherubim.*

It's was indeed a day of Joy and celebration for the entire Israel because the ark of covenant was coming home after several years of being carried away by the Philistines.
2 Samuel 6:3-5 *They placed the ark of God on a new cart and brought it out of the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill; and Uzzah and Ahio, sons of Abinadab, were leading the new cart. So they brought it with the ark of God from the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill; and Ahio was walking in front of the ark. Meanwhile, David and all the house of Israel were celebrating and dancing before the Lord with all kinds of instruments made of fir or cypress wood, with lyres, harps, tambourines, castanets, and cymbals.*

But something happened that cut short their joy 2 Samuel 6:6-9 *When they came to Nacon’s threshing floor, Uzzah reached out [with his hand] to the ark of God and took hold of it, because the oxen [stumbled and] nearly overturned it. And the anger of the Lord burned against Uzzah, and God struck him there for his irreverence; and he died there by the ark of God. David became angry and grieved and offended because of the Lord’s outburst against Uzzah, and that place has been called Perez-uzzah (outburst against Uzzah) to this day. So David was afraid of the Lord that day; and he said, “How can the ark of the Lord come to me?”*
The Bible said when the got to the threshold of NACON ( Prepared) the cart carrying the ark stumbled and Uzzah reach out his hand to prevent it and God struck him and he died. The entire day changed and the celebration ceased .
Even the king couldn't proceed with the ark.

They DUMPED the ark in someone's house.
The ark was abandoned
2 Samuel 6:10 *David was unwilling to move the ark of the Lord into the City of David with him; instead he took it aside to the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.*
The house of Obededom became a dumping ground for them.
God is not a man, get ready for the encounter of your life time.

Hallelujah something happened
2 Samuel 6:11 *So the ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite for three months, and the Lord blessed Obed-edom and all his household (family).*
The ark they dumped became a BLESSING for OBEDEDOM and his household.
*This is the INDESCRIBABLE HELP, the same ark that caused someone's death became a source of blessing to another.*
I see you turning things around for your favor hallelujah

TOPIC: *INQUIRE FROM GOD*
TEXT: 2 Samuel 5:17-25
Amplified Bible
2 Samuel 5:19 *David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You hand them over to me?” And the Lord said to David, “Go up, for I will certainly hand them over to you.”*

To inquire of the Lord means to discover and do things according to the will of God. When you live according to the will of God, it will be difficult to fail.

The Philistines waged a war against Israelite King David inquired of the Lord.
2 Samuel 5:19 *David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You hand them over to me?” And the Lord said to David, “Go up, for I will certainly hand them over to you.”*
He was asking to follow the will of God which will lead to success.
When last did you ask God before doing anything.
Child of God, it's not a waste of time. It's a means to a successful life.
2 Samuel 5:20 *So David came to Baal-perazim, and he defeated them there, and said, “The Lord has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.” So he named that place Baal-perazim (master of breakthroughs).*

In 2 Samuel 5:22-23 *The Philistines came up once again and spread out in the Valley of Rephaim. When David inquired of the Lord, He said, “You shall not go up, but circle around behind them and come at them in front of the balsam trees.*
This time God gave him the battle strategy and formation.
*When you inquire of the Lord, it helps to develop a means to win easily without much stress.*
Please always ask and seek for divine direction.
2 Samuel 5:24 *And when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then you shall pay attention and act promptly, for at that time the Lord will have gone out before you to strike the army of the Philistines.”*
It brings BREAKTHROUGH and resounding VICTORY
2 Samuel 5:25 *David did just as the Lord had commanded him, and struck down the Philistines from Geba as far as Gezer.*
May GOD continue to go ahead of you in all aspects of life in Jesus name Amen CONGRATULATIONS.

2 Samuel 5:3 *So all the elders (tribal leaders) of Israel came to the king at Hebron, and King David made a covenant with them at Hebron before the Lord; and they anointed him king over Israel.*

Earlier before now David was crowned just the king of Judah but now the entire Israel have crowned him King of Israel.
2 Samuel 5:3 *So all the elders (tribal leaders) of Israel came to the king at Hebron, and King David made a covenant with them at Hebron before the Lord; and they anointed him king over Israel.*
It doesn't matter how long your blessings and expectations have delayed, listen it certainly come to fulfillment in Jesus name Amen.

The people knew that David was going to become the King of Israel one day.
2 Samuel 5:2 *In times past, when Saul was king over us, it was you who led Israel out [to war] and brought Israel in [from battle]. And the Lord told you, ‘You shall shepherd My people Israel and be ruler over them.’”*
They were aware of the prophesy and were waiting for it's reality.
It means even your attackers knows the truth about your manifestation and testimonies.
Get ready because soonest your attackers and mockers will join you to glorify God for your breakthrough and TESTIMONIES in Jesus name Amen.

Read this 2 Samuel 5:6-8 *Now the king and his men went to Jerusalem against the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land, who said to David, “You shall not enter here, for the blind and the lame [even the weakest among us] will turn you away”; they thought, “David cannot come in here [because the walls are impenetrable].” Nevertheless, David captured the stronghold (fortress) of Zion, that is, the City of David. Then David said on that day, “Whoever strikes the Jebusites, let him go up through the [underground] water shaft to strike the lame and the blind, who are detested by David’s soul [because of their arrogance].” So [for that reason] they say, “The blind or the lame (Jebusites) shall not come into the [royal] house [of Israel].”*
The jebusites ( blind and lame) became a challenge.
King David defeated the jebusites.
*You will win over every person or forces opposing your total fulfillment and celebration in Jesus name Amen CONGRATULATIONS.*

*In the eighth month of the second year [of the reign] of Darius [the king of Persia], the word of the Lord came to Zechariah (the Lord remembers) the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo, the prophet, saying, Therefore say to the Jews, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts (armies), “Return to Me,” declares the Lord of hosts, “and I shall return to you.*

Hallelujah welcome to August, our month of *NEW BEGINNING*
Isaiah 43:18-19 *“Do not remember the former things, Or ponder the things of the past. “Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.*

A *"NEW BEGINNING"* is a fresh start or a turning point that marks the commencement of a new chapter in life, a project, or a journey. It's an opportunity to:
- Leave past mistakes or regrets behind
- Embrace change and growth
- Pursue new goals and aspirations
- Rediscover oneself and one's passions
- Start anew with a clean slate
A new beginning is a chance to re-invent, re-energize, and re-focus on what's truly important. It's a time for hope, excitement, and limitless possibilities!

From our today's study text God in the eighth month instructed Zechariah during the reign of king Darius to tell the Israelites in Zechariah 1:3 *Therefore say to the Jews, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts (armies), “Return to Me,” declares the Lord of hosts, “and I shall return to you.*
To RETURN means to BEGIN A ANEW, REPENT, CHANGE and AMEND.
It was a call for a restart with God.
Child of God you're in for a NEW BEGINNING with God that will transform everything around you and family for better in Jesus name Amen.

Talking about the NEW BEGINNING let's look at the eighth (8) steps at creation when the Earth was without form and void. Each of the step starts with *"AND GOD SAID,"*
*STEP 1* Genesis 1:3 *And God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.*

*STEP 2*.
Genesis 1:6 *And God said, “Let there be an expanse [of the sky] in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters [below the expanse] from the waters [above the expanse].”*

*STEP 3*.
Genesis 1:9 *And God said, “Let the waters below the heavens be gathered into one place [of standing, pooling together], and let the dry land appear”; and it was so.*

*STEP 4*.
Genesis 1:11 *And God said, “Let the earth sprout [tender] vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit according to (limited to, consistent with) their kind, whose seed is in them upon the earth”; and it was so.*

*STEP 5*
Genesis 1:14 *And God said, “Let there be light-bearers (sun, moon, stars) in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be useful for signs (tokens) [of God’s provident care], and for marking seasons, days, and years;*

*STEP 6*.
Genesis 1:20 *And God said, “Let the waters swarm and abundantly produce living creatures, and let birds soar above the earth in the open expanse of the heavens.”*

*STEP 7*.
Genesis 1:24 *Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to (limited to, consistent with) their kind: livestock, crawling things, and wild animals of the earth according to their kinds”; and it was so [because He had spoken them into creation].*

*STEP 8*.
Genesis 1:26 *And God said, “Let Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) make man in Our image, according to Our likeness [not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral likeness]; and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle, and over the entire earth, and over everything that creeps and crawls on the earth.”*

The NEW BEGINNING brings God's word in manifestation.

TOPIC: *GOD IS FIGHTING YOUR UNSEEN BATTLES*
TEXT: 1 Samuel 5:1-12
Amplified Bible
1 Samuel 5:4 *But when they got up early the next morning, behold, Dagon had [again] fallen on his face on the ground before the ark of the Lord, and his head and both palms of his hands were [lying] cut off on the threshold; only the trunk [portion] of [the idol of] Dagon was left on him.*

*UNSEEN BATTLE*
The Unseen Battle refers to the spiritual struggles and conflicts that Christians face against spiritual enemies, such as:
1. Satan and his demons
2. Sin and temptation
3. The flesh (human nature)
4. The world (secular values and systems)
This battle is "unseen" because it takes place in the spiritual realm, beyond human sight. It involves struggles with thoughts, emotions, and desires, and requires spiritual weapons and armor, such as:
1. Prayer
2. Scripture
3. Faith
4. Hope
5. Love
6. The armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18)

The Unseen Battle is a constant reality for believers, and requires vigilance, discernment, and dependence on God's power and grace.

The Israelites were defeated and the ark of God was taken by the Philistines .
The ark tormented both the Philistines and their gods.
1 Samuel 5:4,6 *But when they got up early the next morning, behold, Dagon had [again] fallen on his face on the ground before the ark of the Lord, and his head and both palms of his hands were [lying] cut off on the threshold; only the trunk [portion] of [the idol of] Dagon was left on him. Then the hand of the Lord was heavy on the people of Ashdod, and He caused them to be dumbfounded and struck them with tumors, both Ashdod and its territory.*
Anyone who has taken what is yours and is mocking you will have no peace in Jesus name Amen.

Hear this 1 Samuel 5:9 *But it happened that after they had taken it to Gath, the hand of the Lord was against the city, causing an extremely great panic [because of the deaths from the plague], for He struck the people of the city, both young and old, and tumors broke out on them.*
Anyway the ark of God entered the people suffered terribly.
From today anyone WITHHOLDING your BLESSINGS, PROMOTION, JOY, BREAKTHROUGH, TESTIMONIES must receive God's torment in Jesus name Amen.

1 Samuel 5:11 *So they sent word and gathered all the lords of the Philistines and said, “Send away the ark of the God of Israel; let it be returned to its own place, so that it will not kill us and our people.” For there was a deadly panic throughout the city; the hand of God was very heavy (severe) there.*

Judges 18:2 *So the sons of Dan sent from the total number of their [extended] family five brave men from Zorah and Eshtaol, to scout the land and to explore it; and they said to them, “Go, explore the land.” They came to the hill country of Ephraim, to the house of Micah, and lodged there.*

*EXPLORE*
To examine or investigate something systematically.
Explore is to examine a subject or a possibility completely or carefully in order to find out more about it

The tribe of Dan in need of a land to settle completely decided to EXPLORE THE LAND.
They went out in search of a better place to settle down.
Child of God if you wish to have a better experience in your job and Christian life you must EXPLORE the opportunities before you. You can expand your business, career and vision if you EXPLORE ( do situation analysis on how to improve it).

To EXPLORE requires that you move out of your comfort zone, replan, re-strategize, make enquiry, research and discover new opportunities .
