FILL YOUR WATERPOTS

“Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.”(John 2: 7)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, Jesus ordered the servants at the marriage feast to fill the waterpots with water; those servants filled the waterpots to the brim. It wasn’t a case of half measures. The servants were not going to do what was not enough to fill the tops. The idea was to fill the pots, and went ahead and filled all the pots to the brim. The did all that was required of them. They gave the full measure of efforts that the situation demanded.

Friend, fill your ‘waterpots’ to the brim. Make your impact and efforts maximal; let your service be without blemish; let your scorecard speak of excellence; let your work be thorough; let it be said that you always do all that you should have done; let it be said that your stewardship and efficiency is excellent; don’t be that man that could have filled a ‘waterpot’ but prefers to leave it half filled; don’t make efforts and stop halfway.

The season of half-filled waterpots, is over; the season of service in half measures, is over; the season of incomplete efforts, is over; the season of doing less instead of more, is over; the season of operating at a mediocre level, is over; the season of offering average services instead of excelling in full, is over; the season of haphazard performances at your duty post, is over; the season of uncompleted assignments, is over.

Notice that the miracle did not happen until the waterpots were filled to the brim. A new, unprecedented divine manifestation did not happen until the waterpots were filled. What if God has been waiting to show you His goodness and mercy on a new level, but your half filled waterpots keep hindering Him? What is the half measures in your service to God and at your duty post is the reason why you have not accessed uncommon results?

If you ever have an opportunity to do more, don’t do less. If you have a chance to fill your ‘waterpots’, don’t leave it half filled.

Proverbs 22: 29 says: “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”

Declare With Us: I will fill my ‘waterpots’ to the brim; no more half measures, in Jesus’ name!

Today, may God raise timely helpers for you.
May every conspiracy against your destiny fail.
May your eyes be opened to the help God has prepared for you, and may you never trade your destiny for a counterfeit version of help.

KEEP YOUR EYES ON JESUS

Reference Scripture: Matthew14:21–33
Child of God, as long as your gaze remains on Jesus, the storm cannot determine your destination.

There may be stubborn challenges around you.
There may be turbulence.
There may be things that are designed to frighten you.

But don't allow what is happening around you to become greater than Who is before you.

Keep your eyes on Jesus.

✋ GOD'S HELP WILL FIND YOU

The word we received in the 1st service was a strong reassurance that God's help will find us.

Through the story of Peter walking on water in Matthew 14:21–33, Mama revealed what it looks like when God's hand reaches into a man's weakness and turns it into an experience that could only have been possible by divine help.

In Matthew 14, the disciples were battling a boisterous wind when they saw Jesus walking toward them on the water. Fear gripped them until Jesus identified Himself.

Peter then stepped out of the boat at Jesus' command.

For a moment, he did the impossible. He walked on water. But when his attention shifted from Jesus to the waves, fear returned, and he began to sink.

And then came his cry: “Lord, save me!” Immediately, Jesus stretched out His hand and saved him.

You may be in a place where you feel weak, overwhelmed, uncertain, or incapable, but being down does not mean you have been abandoned. God's help will surely find you.

Declare: God's help has found me
