A Message of Joy and Hope this Christmas Season 🌟

Dearly beloved,

On behalf of the President, Sis. Nancy C. Ononiwu and the Umuahia Diocesan Council, we extend our warmest greetings and blessings to you this Christmas season 🎄. As we gather to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are reminded of the profound gift of love, hope, and salvation He brings to our world.

In the midst of life's joys and challenges, Christmas invites us to pause, reflect, and rejoice in God's incredible love for humanity ❤️. The manger scene speaks of humility, compassion, and the promise of Emmanuel – "God with us". May this truth anchor our hearts and illuminate our path.

As a Diocesan family, let us embrace the spirit of Christmas: sharing love, extending kindness, and fostering unity 🙏. May our dear Fellowship be havens of hope, reflecting Christ's light in our world.

Highlights from our council meeting yesterday! 📸

We were honoured by the arrival of our AYF National President, Bro. Kelechi Nzeako, who brought inspiring leadership and guidance to our gathering! 🙏

We also had some past diocesan officers in attendance as their presence is a huge boost to us.

In line with our council's commitment to supporting our youth and encouraging education, we also shared back-to-school items to all Archdeaconries. 📚🎒

📢 AYF Umuahia Diocesan Council – Back-to-School Support Initiative 🎒✏️📚

Dear Esteemed Elders, Brothers, Sisters, Senior Friends, and Brethren of AYF

As a fellowship, we are committed to making lasting impact wherever we serve. This year, we are launching a Back-to-School Support Initiative to ease the burden on parents and encourage our young ones academically.

🎯 Our Goal
To support 120 students of AYF families with essential back-to-school items.

💡 How You Can Partner With Us
We invite you, your family, and well-wishers to join us by:
✅ Sponsoring one or more children
✅ Donating cash or school items (books, bags, pens, pencils, rulers, etc.)
✅ Partnering with us to make this dream a reality.

Even the smallest gift counts. For example:

₦3,000 provides exercise books for a child

₦7,000 puts together a full starter pack

All items will be shared at our Post-Conference Council Meeting on 11th October, 2025.

We unveiled the brand-new jersey provided by the Madubukos, launched by His Lordship, The Rt. Revd. Dr. Geoffrey Obijuru Ibeabuachi during our just concluded Diocesan Bible Study conference!
This jersey represents more than just a uniform. It symbolizes unity, faith, and our shared commitment to spreading the Word.
