𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 & 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗖𝗢𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴

Over the weekend, officers and senior NCOs of the Anglican Communion Brigades - ACB, Diocese of Umuahia gathered for the last meeting of the year. We gave thanks, reviewed the year, and prepared for the next:

Highlights included opening prayers and praise, a word of admonition, the 2025 DBSTC report and finance review, the 2025 State Integrated Course report, a strong call for discipline among all members, correspondence, and an open forum to shape the 2026 DBSTC.

We were honoured to receive the uniform parts promised by our Diocesan Bishop, The Rt. Revd. Dr. Geoffrey Ibeabuchi during the Guard of Honour at the close of the 2025 Synod, these were distributed to churches and individuals. For the first time, we celebrated a fruitful year with a cake kindly presented by our Patron and Host Priest’s wife, Mrs. JulietAniekwe.

Thank you to everyone who served, supported, and showed up this year. We pray for continued unity, discipline, and service as we look forward to 2026.

We were delighted to welcome Sir Kenneth Maduakolam Adighibe of IJERE Foundation during Day 3 of our Camp.

A proud son of the Okwulaga community and member of our host parish, Sir Kenneth checked on the welfare of delegates. He generously sponsored lunch for all campers on our departure day, a gesture we deeply appreciate.

Inspiring Visit from DOCOMOYUP Coordinator

We were honoured to receive Evang. Chinedu Ahamefula, the Coordinator of DOCOMOYUP (Diocesan Council for the Ministry of the Young People) during our camp.

He charged us to “stand strong in our convictions as we serve God”, a powerful reminder of our calling as a generation set apart for purpose.

DOCOMOYUP continues to unify and guide all youth arms within the Diocese of Umuahia, and we’re grateful for their support.
