TODAY'S WORD
I Peter 1:4
TO AN INHERITANCE INCORRUPTIBLE, AND UNDEFILED, AND THAT FADETH NOT AWAY, RESERVED IN HEAVEN FOR YOU.

It is always disappointing to see when you attend a program where a seat of honour was reserved for someone that never showed up. Imagine someone that was supposed to be given an award of excellence but never showed up till the occasion was over, the master of ceremony would have called and called and expectations will turn to disappointment. This is exactly what will happen in heaven on the last day, roll call will be made because according to our text, there is a reservation for me and you. It will be a great tragedy that God has prepared a reservation for you in heaven and you are not able to make it. I pray for you, this shall not be your portion in Jesus name.

John 14:1-3; LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED: YE BELIEVE IN GOD, BELIEVE ALSO IN ME. IN MY FATHER'S HOUSE ARE MANY MANSIONS: IF IT WERE NOT SO, I WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU. I GO TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU. AND IF I GO AND PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU, I WILL COME AGAIN, AND RECEIVE YOU UNTO MYSELF; THAT WHERE I AM, THERE YE MAY BE ALSO. Beloved, there is a seat with you name in heaven, Jesus went about 2000 years ago to prepare it ahead of you. Do all that is in your power not to miss that reservation. Romans 5:10
FOR IF, WHEN WE WERE ENEMIES, WE WERE RECONCILED TO GOD BY THE DEATH OF HIS SON, MUCH MORE, BEING RECONCILED, WE SHALL BE SAVED BY HIS LIFE.

Some time ago I visited the mortuary, while there I saw how powerless a lifeless body can be. Even for a very powerful and influential man that threatens to deal with another fellow, though he may have all it takes to carry out his threats, if he suddenly falls dead, that will be the end of his threat. This was not the case with our Lord Jesus Christ; it was in death that power to deliver man was released. His death transmitted power that could destroy the power of satan, sin and death (Hebrew 2:14-15). Now let's see what our focal text for today is saying; if in death our Lord Jesus Christ generated enough power to save us, is it now that He is alive that He will not be able to save? Jesus Christ is alive! He rose from death and is alive forever more. What this means to you is that in the living Christ lies the power to save and deliver you from all sorts of calamities you may be faced with.

John 11:25; JESUS SAID UNTO HER, I AM THE RESURRECTION, AND THE LIFE: HE THAT BELIEVETH IN ME, THOUGH HE WERE DEAD, YET SHALL HE LIVE: AND WHOSOEVER LIVETH AND BELIEVETH IN ME SHALL NEVER DIE. BELIEVEST THOU THIS? Beloved, there is what is called ``the power of His resurrection (Philippians 3:10)''. The resurrected Jesus has all the power to solve all the problems you may be faced with. After His resurrection, He declared ``ALL POWER IS GIVEN UNTO ME IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH (Matthew 28:18)''. The power to heal and deliver is in His hands, take advantage of it today. This you can do by accepting Him into your life as your Lord and Saviour. Pray with me: Lord Jesus, please come into my heart afresh and let the power of your resurrection work in my life in Jesus name.

When you are a born again child of God (if you are one and If not give your life to Jesus now) you have the privilege of praying and having your prayers answered. Jesus had assured us of this in Mathew 7:7-8; ASK, AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN YOU; SEEK, AND YE SHALL FIND; KNOCK, AND IT SHALL BE OPENED UNTO YOU: FOR EVERY ONE THAT ASKETH RECEIVETH; AND HE THAT SEEKETH FINDETH; AND TO HIM THAT KNOCKETH IT SHALL BE OPENED. Again He spoke further in Matthew 7: 11; IF YE THEN, BEING EVIL, KNOW HOW TO GIVE GOOD GIFTS UNTO YOUR CHILDREN, HOW MUCH MORE SHALL YOUR FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN GIVE GOOD THINGS TO THEM THAT ASK HIM? But if you look at our opening text you will see that God does not only want to give us what we ask of Him, He also wants to work with our imaginations or what we can refer to as our heart desires. God can and will go beyond what you're asking into your sub consciousness to give you a miracle. Pastor E. A. Adeboye shared a testimony that will soon be yours if you can believe. He said a long time ago while on evangelism during Christmas, he saw some turkeys and in his heart said 'I can't remember the last time I ate turkey'. Can you imagine that on arriving home he saw two turkeys waiting as gifts for him? Praise the Lord.

Psalms 145:16; THOU OPENEST THINE HAND, AND SATISFIEST THE DESIRE OF EVERY LIVING THING. Pray with me: Father, in this month, open your hands to me; turn every of my desire to miracles in Jesus name.

There would be a general meeting of all the National CRESFON executive members on Saturday as follows:

Time: 1:30pm
Venue: Bishop Clark's Central School, Abak. Akwa Ibom state.

N/B: No national executive member will be allowed to operate with African time as the meeting starts by sharp 1:30pm. If you are not there at that time, consider yourself failing God in your duties as God would not appreciate failure this year. So on this note, if you are not there, you will automatically be dropped from your office. If you are in PH and you need to move on Friday to avoid traffic on , you are free to do so because no excuse will be welcomed, for coming late or for absentism. Pls treat as important. Proverbs 3:35
The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.

Do you know that there are two eternal destinations after death? We have some that will be heading to eternal condemnation and others will go into eternal glory (Daniel 12:2). Just as there are two eternal destinations, there are also two kinds of promotion available to man. Our text says The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools. Who is a fool? A fool is anybody that does not recognize the sovereignty of God Almighty. Psalms 53:1a; The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. The fool is that man that does not accept IN HIS HEART that there is God; he may say there is one but if he doesnt believe it he is a fool. Just as there is a kind of promotion that brings glory which is meant for those who will embrace God, there is also another form of promotion which tends towards shame and is meant for the fools. When a man begins to feel in his heart that everything he owns was gotten solely by his power, then he is calling for a kind of promotion shame. James 4:6; But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

In the book of Daniel, a king after he had become very successful just stood in his house one day to show forth all his glory, declaring that his hands had made them. For that God took away his heart and gave him that of a beast and made him to eat grass for seven years (Daniel 4:28-37). Pray with me: Oh Lord, dont ever let me at anytime forget that you are in the drivers seat of my life in Jesus name.

Revelation 12:4-5
And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

The book of Revelation 12 gives us an idea what normally transpires immediately a person is born. As the story goes, a woman was pregnant and was about to be delivered of her child when suddenly a great red dragon appeared. Now what was the mission of this dragon? The dragon was to devour the child as soon as the child was born. This is always the intention of the devil for every child that is born; he makes sure that he infuses his nature that brings death into them. His plan is to corrupt a children by introducing them to things that will lead them astray from the plan and purpose of God for their lives. But from our story you will see that there was an intervention as soon as the child was born. God always has a way out for his own children. That is why the bible encourages parents to train a child Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). Another thing we see in this scripture is that just as the devil was planning to devour, God had an escape route, satans plan could not be carried out because of divine interception. This is why I know that every satanic plan against you or your children this season will not materialize in Jesus name.

John 10:10; The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Pray with me: Father, every demonic plans concerning me and my household this month and beyond will not see the light of day in Jesus name.
