Happy Independence, Nigeria!
To my dear and beloved Country, a motherland to some people, but a fatherland to me.
It is your time to be honoured, and for your sons and daughters to be celebrated. It is your time to take your place at the global table.
Nigeria, your time to break the jinx and lead your brothers and sisters to become all they were destined for has come.
For the wind of the Spirit has been stirring underneath your wings for you to soar. The call from the realm above is thundering for you to come from up and take your place.
Oh, that your people and leaders may know that this is the time they have prayed for, so that their actions might be deliberate and intentionally directed to align with this.
Nigeria, your light has come, so arise and shine. Reach out to the sun; it beckons you to come take your place amongst the stars that influence the earth.
Grace to you, Nigeria; may they prosper who seek your prosperity and may they fail and fall who seek your downfall.
