Sunday, August 16th.

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. (Matthew 16:27).

It's when we don't take heed to what God has said that we become deceived by what men thinks that God is saying. For the majority in the church today; they don't know where they stand in Christ due to unscriptural teachings. For that course, many are just living their lives for the sake of not missing heaven at last.

In today's teaching, I want to bring our consciousness to the certainty of God's reward. And very importantly, God's reward system is not the same as the men's reward system. It's vital to know that, God never promises us heaven as a reward for our good works. This means, we need to search the scriptures properly to know what God is going to reward us with at the end of the world.

The mentality of preparing Christians for heaven has made many local assemblies become a monument. We put up programs upon programs, but yet the hearts of a great number of Christians are getting cold towards God. We are actually acting like the men that wanted to build the tower of Babel, in order to settle in one region of the earth.

God wants us to come into the actualization that he has a need and that need is that, he doesn't want any to perish. For that course, he equipped us in Christ, to be an able minister of the gospel of Christ. We are not called for anything else but to turn men from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God. Our opening verse says, God will reward us according to our works. What works is God going to reward us on?

Ephesians 2:10 made us understand that we are ordained in Christ to produce good works from the foundation of the world. This tells us that, it's not good work that God is going to reward us for. Good works are our default Christian lifestyle. God is going to reward us according to our work of turning men from darkness into light of God's kingdom. This is a wakeup call to all in Christ, to get actively involved in soul winning. Souls are the crown of the believer not heaven at last.

Topic -: The God of the harvest. Pt9
Saturday, August 15th.

So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send out more workers for his fields." (Matthew 9:38).

The Lord of the harvest is in need of workers for his field. We previously looked at the divine search of God for labourers. In today's teaching, we shall be considering the eternal agenda of God as it regards the harvest of God. Ephesians 3:11 says, "According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord." God created the entire universe and every living and none living things with eternal purpose. The eternal agenda of God is proposed in Christ. Meaning, God designed everything he created to have its fulfillment in Christ.

When we hear the word "Christ", what really comes to mind? It's important to know that, Christ is not the surname of Jesus. The word "Christ" means the anointed. The word "Christ" is not a title that Jesus assumed while he walked on the earth. Christ is an office that God designed from the foundation of the world that should unite everything he created into one. Jesus came into the office of the Christ when he was baptized in the Holy Spirit. The eternal agenda of God predates the fall of Adam. Meaning, before Adam ever disobeyed God in the garden of Eden; God has already proposed everything to be one in Christ.

Colossians 2:9-10 says, "For in Christ the fullness of God lives in a human body, and you are complete through your union with Christ. He is the Lord over every ruler and authority in the universe." Our union with Christ made us to be complete in Christ. Now that we are in Christ, there is a need to live under the rulership of Christ. We can't be in Christ and live in disobedient to the rulership of Christ. Here is the confusion in our world today. We have many who draw near to God with their lips but their hearts are not in alignment with the office of the Christ.

Matthew 15:8 says,
"This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me." To this end, the spirit of God is instructing us to stay in alignment with the office of the Christ and live in accord with the eternal agenda of God. God wants everyone he created to be one in Christ. The sincere truth is that, we can only be one in Christ only when we come under the lordship of Jesus Christ.

You can see why the Lord of the harvest is in need of labourers in his field. In the eternal agenda of God; God doesn't want any to perish. For this course, this truth is coming to you today, so you can make up your mind to live for the Interest of God. Ephesians 2:8-10 says, "God saved you by his special favor when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."

Father in the name of Jesus, I bring my will subject to your plans and purpose for my life. I live daily for your interest consciously and unconsciously. The gospel of Christ prospers in my hands. Every aspect of my life represents the interest of God's kingdom. Amen.

Friday, August 14th.

Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest (Matthew 9:38).

The position of God regarding the salvation of man from eternal condemnation is absolute. For this course, we must be humble enough to learn and accept the position of God. John 3:16 shows us the absolute position of God toward man. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." We are shown from the scripture above; the absolute position of God's love for man. The love of God for man is absolute in the sense that, nothing can change God's love towards man.

God made man to be the object of his love. It's from the standpoint of God's love for man that made God to send his first begotten son (Jesus Christ) to be the propitiation of sin for man (humanity). God in his absolute love for man, paid an absolute price for sin; in order to give man an absolute position of eternal freedom from sin. Now, the absolute demand to receive the absolute position of freedom from sin is to believe in the one God gave as sacrifice for man.

Whosoever that believes in him (Jesus Christ) will not perish but will have everlasting life is an absolute statement. God is eternally committed in saving man from the condemnation of sin. You can see the foundation upon which our opening text hangs. The price for man's salvation has been fully paid. The outcome of man's faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross has been obtained. And also, the demand to receive God's salvation has been absolutely set in place. For this course, the harvest has been made ready. This is why, we pray to God to send us as labourers into His harvest. The harvest is ripe but the labourers are few.

At this point, I want you to take this thought into mind. In the last one year, three months or one week; has anyone walked up to you to tell you about the need for you to be saved through the offering of Jesus Christ? If the answer is No, then it simply means one thing. It means that, if you haven't accepted Christ before now, it means you will still be class among the lost souls. The implication is that, the harvest that God made ripe over two thousand years ago hasn't received the message of salvation from God's labourers. This is why the Lord of the harvest is in urgent need for labourers.

Yes, the creator of the whole universe is in urgent need of soul winners. Isaiah 6:8 says, "Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me." The eternal Father is requesting who to send into his harvest. Will you answer the call of God? Believers gathered every day to ask God for one thing or the other. But here is the desire of God: "who will go for us". It's time to come out from the popular religious Christian activities of continuously requesting personal needs from God, into finding out the greatest desire in the heart of God and becoming a tool in the hand of God. Who shall we send asked the Lord?

Father in the name of Jesus, I bring my desire subject to your desire. I refuse to walk in the way that is right in my sight. I walk by the help of the holy Spirit in the acceptable will of God for my life. I make progress according to the leading of the Holy Spirit. I declare that my life is beautiful in Christ Jesus. Thursday, August 13th.

Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest (Matthew 9:38).

Revelation 14:15 says,
"And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe." It has been established in the course of this month teaching series that, the harvest speaks of the salvation of men (male and female). It's very important to know that, God is interested in the salvation of everyone he created. God doesn't want any to perish. For this course, the Lord of the harvest has given instruction about his harvest.

In revelation 14:15 as stated above; we are told that the harvest of the earth is ripe already. Take note: the harvest wasn't made ripe by the prayer of the saints. The Lord of the harvest himself made the harvest to be ripe. The harvest are men and women that dwell on the earth. The word "ripe" in revelation 14:15 means ready for rescue. Question: when did God make men and women ready to be rescued from the domain of darkness Titus 2:11 says, "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men." Men and women were made ready for rescue when the grace of God for salvation appeared to all men (all of humanity).

It's good news to the saints of the Lord to know that, salvation is made available for all men. There is no man (male and female) that has crossed the line that the grace of God for salvation can't be saved.. As long as a man has the breath of life in him/her; God's grace for salvation is available. But because no one knows the time of his/her departure from the earth; it becomes a risky living to live a minute on this earth without receiving the salvation that God offers to all men. It's upon the urgency for the salvation of men, that we are discussing the teaching series of this month.

In the course of the teaching series of this month, we will discuss the role of God and the role of the saints in rescuing unsaved men from the domain of darkness. We shall also discuss the means for the salvation of men. Acts 13:47 says, "For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. The God of the harvest has commanded us to be light unto unsaved men and women. The command of God over the saints is the greatest heritage of the saints.

Acts 28:28 says, "Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it." God desires the unsaved to hear about his salvation. For sure, we are going to learn something amazing in course of this month teaching series. In addition to the areas of consideration, we shall also discuss the how to win men into the salvation of God in course of this month teaching series.

PRAYER

Father in the name of Jesus, I'm saved in Christ and sent to save others. I declare that the gospel of Christ is alive in my heart and in my mouth. The gospel of Christ is effective in my mouth. I declare that miracle, signs and wonders happen through my hands with ease. My hands are the extension of the hands of Jesus Christ. I make progress in preaching of the gospel of Christ. Amen.

Topic -: The God of the harvest. Pt6
Saturday, August 8th.

Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ (Ephesians 3:8).

2 Timothy 4:3 says, "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears." As a result of the time that we are in; it becomes very mandatory to properly explain the written scriptures. We can't afford to build our faith in God on falsehood. For this course, in today's teaching, we shall be laying a vital ground upon which our discussion of this month shall hang on.

In our opening text, Paul the apostle described the gospel of Christ as the unsearchable riches. Question: unsearchable riches in what light? Did unsearchable riches of Christ means cars and houses or does it mean marriage and giving birth? Let's see what Paul the apostle described as unsearchable riches of Christ. Ephesians 1:7 says, "Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we're a free people--free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free!"

The total forgiveness of sin which God credited on the account of the whole of humanity as a result of the cross of Christ is what Paul the apostle described as the unsearchable riches of Christ. God without the input of man, totally forgave the sin of man through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. The message of the forgiveness of sin is not a new age ideology of some zealous individuals. The message of the forgiveness of sin is the reason why Jesus Christ came to the earth on his first coming.

Romans 4:6-8 says, "Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin." It can't be simpler than what is shown to us in the above verses of scripture. The man whom God has totally forgiven his/her sin is a blessed man. The forgiveness of sin is the unsearchable riches of God.

It beats the mindset of religious men and women. The most wise man can't understand how God could totally forgive sin with one sacrifice of the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross. This truth is mind blowing. At the same time, this truth is the power of God to man; to come out of any form of sin habit. God in Christ has offered total forgiveness of sin to the whole of humanity.

Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for totally blotting out my sin from your sight. I'm totally free from the power of sin. My daily life is motivated by the unsearchable riches of God to me. My life is characterized by the mercies of God. My experiences are glorious experiences. Amen.

Friday, August 7th.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears. (2 Timothy 4:3).

Our walk of faith is meant to be built on sound doctrine from God's word. In today's teaching, we shall consider some vital things that make up a sound doctrine. The word 'sound' in the Greek rendering, metaphorically means an opinion that is free from any mixture of errors. Likewise the word 'doctrine' has the Greek word 'Didaskalia', which means teaching or instruction. The reason why we have a lot of erroneous teachings in the body of Christ at large is basically because, too many of God's children have not paid attention to sound doctrine.

The message of the bible is not whatever we can explain scriptures to mean. The scriptures do not have several meanings. The reason a lot of wrong teachings have been accepted in the church, is because of the mindset that different persons can have several meanings of a verse in the bible. The first and most important thing to know is that, the bible is about Jesus Christ, not about concepts. It's vital to know that events don't determine sound doctrine but as a result of sound doctrine, we understand the purpose of every event on earth.

It's when you know Jesus Christ in the revelation of his death and resurrection, that you can understand the place of events; either past, present or future events. A sound doctrine is a teaching that reveals Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is our message. For in him we move and in him we have our being. A nice expression that doesn't reveal Jesus Christ to us is not a sound doctrine. And without a biblical sound doctrine, a Christian cannot be spiritually matured.

Titus 1:9 says: "Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers." It's by sound doctrine that we can exhort and convince the gainsayers. A lot of churches are complaining in their preachings, how their members patronizes gainsayers with their resources within the week and come to church on Sunday with empty hand. Without sound doctrine, an average Christian is subject to deception by gainsayers.

This is why, everyone that is named in Christ should take heed to sound doctrine. Your spiritual growth is tied to the message that reveals Jesus Christ to you. As you know Jesus, you know you. For this course, give yourself diligently to study the bible. As you study, don't forget that the bible is about Jesus Christ, so you don't get carried away by the stories and events and thereby missed the message. If you are being feed with sound doctrine already, hold on to it and live out the message. It's through sound doctrine that we fight a good fight of faith. Our participation in the harvest is tied to the establishment of our hearts on sound doctrine about Jesus Christ.

Father in the name of Jesus, I live daily in sound truth of the scriptures. I grow accordingly in Christ Jesus. I make progress divinely. My life is beautiful in the name of Jesus. I grow in the grace of God continually. Amen.

Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest (Matthew 9:38).

Hebrews 4:12 says, "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." It's important to know that, God wants to bring the thoughts and the intents of the hearts of men in alignment with his word. For this course, we can't afford to continue on the path of erroneous beliefs acclaimed to be the word of God.

It's key to know that, the word of God doesn't mean to say something from the holy scriptures. The word of God is not backing beliefs with the holy scriptures. The word of God is not saying nice things about God from the holy scriptures. The word of God is that which is consistent with the nature and personality of God, as revealed in the person of Jesus Christ. It means, whatever that we regard as the word of God must be consistent with the nature and personality of God, as revealed in Christ Jesus.

In our opening text, we are told that we should pray that the Lord of the harvest should send forth labourers into his harvest. When the term "harvest" comes to mind, what really comes to your mind? We live in a time where words and terms from the holy scriptures are not given proper interpretation. Words and terms from the holy scriptures are interpreted on personal interpretation. For this course, a great number of Christians grow up in a circle that has no respect for accurate scriptural interpretation.

Does the term "harvest" in our opening text means financial open doors? Does the term "harvest" means any form of material increase? The answer is certainly No. The term "harvest" in our opening text carries a reality that is beyond any form of earthly increase. The word "harvest" is translated from the Greek word "therismos" and the word "therismos" means the following: the act of reaping, the act of the gathering of men into the kingdom of God and also means the time of final judgment, when the righteous are gathered into the kingdom of God and the wicked are cast into hell for ever.

You can see that the term "harvest" in context of our discussion has nothing to do with receiving any form of earthly increase. For this course, all through this month, we shall explore the mind of God as it regards God's desire for man (male and female) in these last days. John 4:35 says,
"Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest."

Monday, August 3rd.

Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish. (Matthew 18:14).

It's very vital for every man or woman in Christ to come into an active consciousness of the importance of soul winning. We need to know that we are not alive for houses, cars and anything you can name in this world. These things are very good but certainly we are not here for them. We are here for lost souls. This is why, it's wrong spiritual upbringing for any Christian to ask: must every Christian be a preacher? For this course, I want to help you understand the act of soul winning in today's teaching, so that you can actively get involved in the soul winning business.

The first and foremost thing I want to help you understand is the fact that everyone on earth deserves salvation. This will lead us to why everyone on earth needs to be saved. In Romans 5:12, we are made to understand that sin entered into this world through one man's disobedience and everyone that comes into this world through the conception from a man and a woman is born into sin. And very vitally, every seed from Adam is trapped in death. This death is not just physical death but eternal separation from God.

For this course came Jesus into the world and became a
substitute for man's place of death. He (Jesus) took our place of condemnation through his death on the cross. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." Jesus was made sin for all men right on the cross; for the purpose that as many who will believe in his death, that he died for them, will be made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

The question will now be: how come Jesus knew no sin? This is where the virgin birth of Jesus is so vital to the Christian faith. Jesus was without sin because he wasn't born in the natural conception of a child from a man and a woman. Every child that resulted from a man and a woman is born with the sin nature of Adam. This will show you why all men need a saviour. The second point we want to establish in today's teaching is that, Jesus paid with his blood for the sin of the whole of humanity.

Now God has committed into our trust, the assignment to announce to all unsaved men and women, that Jesus died for their sins and that it was because God loves them that made Jesus to die for them. This is why we live. Soul winning is our life assignment. God called everyone in Christ into a full time ministry of soul winning. We can't afford to go on a break from soul winning. For this course, I believe that you will take this words seriously and allow the compassion of Jesus for lost souls to flow in your heart.

Father in the name of Jesus, I am grateful for your life that you gave to me. I'm alive in Christ eternally. I'm alive in Christ to tell the untold about the cross of Christ. My life is hidden in Christ and I produce results according to the spirit of eternal life. Amen.

Sunday, August 2nd.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16).

We are in the finest hour of the glorification of the church of Christ. It is an era of great harvest of souls from the domain of darkness into the marvelous light of Christ. And very vitally, every man and woman in Christ is enlisted for this great harvest of souls. It is the era of the emergence of soul winners. This is the era in which the thought of God for souls will become the thought in the heart of God's chosen people.

1 Timothy 2:4 says, "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." You can see that, it is the desire of God that none should perish eternally. For this course, the Spirit of God is doing a quick work in the heart of believers, which will make them get involved in active and passionate soul winning. It is an emergence of soul winners.

For this course, it is important for believers to align themselves to the move of God in these days and times. Our opening verse told us that God so loved the world. God loves the world of sinners and he doesn't want any among them to perish. God desire us as well to love sinners and be compel with compassion to pray for the salvation of those around us and as well go out and tell them about Jesus Christ.

2 Timothy 1:9-11 says, "Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, but is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles."

We are not here at this particular age of the existence of man for nothing. We are called with an holy calling, to be a minister of the gospel of Christ to the unsaved men and women. It is a glorious calling, for as such we should see to it that we make the best out of it, for the advancement of God's kingdom. The time is short and the hour is now, because the king is coming back again. The army of the Lord is rising all across the world. It is the emergence of great soul winners. God wants you to open your heart to understand the time. It is a glorious moment for soul winners to shine as stars.

Saturday, August 1st.

Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. (Luke 10:2).

One of the most amazing and also very powerful questions asked in the bible is in Acts 8:30, which says, "And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?" It is not about how much we can connect scriptures together, but the most important thing is how much we understand the scriptures.

As we come into accurate understanding of scriptures, our heart is conditioned with compassion for lost souls. It's due to lack of understanding that makes a great number of Christians ask the question: must we all preach the gospel? One of the things God puts in our care, is the very message of reconciliation. You don't have to hear a special instruction directed to you to tell others about Christ, the written word of God has mandated us to tell the world, the message of Christ death and resurrection.

Our opening verse says, the harvest is truly great but the labourers are few. God in Christ made the world ready for salvation, and it's through the sharing of the gospel to them, that salvation will come to them. It's not our prayers that will ripen souls for harvest. The first and foremost knowledge the believer needs to be imparted with, is the knowledge of God's love for sinners. When the fellow who just believe the gospel of Christ is opened to the love of God for sinners and how much God desires sinners to be reconciled back to him, the believer will be ready to tell the next fellow close to him/her about Christ.

As we go out to preach the gospel of Christ, go with the consciousness of the power of the Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 4:4 says, "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." The devil has blinded the mind of the people of the world with different issues of life, and the purpose is to make them not believe the gospel of Christ.

As we go out, we heal the sick and set the captives free with the anointing of God's Spirit. You don't have to bother if you feel the anointing or not, God is the force backing every of your words as you go out to preach the gospel of Christ. The fact remains, we have been mandated to go out and preach the gospel. God didn't ask us to sit behind why sinners come to him through our lifestyles. Our lifestyles is not the standard for sinners. We are all asked to focus on Jesus. As we look continuously on Jesus, we are changed into the same image of Christ. I welcome you to this month teaching series.

PRAYER

father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for the provision of salvation. I'm grateful for calling me out of darkness into your marvelous light. For this course, I receive compassion for others who are yet to receive your glorious gospel of salvation. I declare that my life expresses the compassion of Christ for the unsaved. Amen.
