Moment of Realities
Topic -: The return of Christ. Pt17.
Friday, May 22nd.
Apostle O. Isaac

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come(1 Thessalonian 1:10).

Jesus Christ is coming back for a glorious church. Meaning, God is doing a very quick work for the church of Christ before the return of Christ. God is equipping the church of Christ with the accurate knowledge of Jesus Christ. And the sum total of the maturity of the church of Christ is the unity of the faith in Jesus Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13 says, "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ."

To this end, the church of Christ needs to be educated with sound doctrine about Jesus Christ. In today's teaching, we will be discussing a vital event associated with the rapture of the church of Christ. Isaiah 61:1-2 says, "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn."

Take note of something said in the above verses of scripture. The spirit of God that came upon us, came on us to help us proclaim the acceptable year of our God and the day of vengeance of our God. The acceptable year of the Lord is the mercies of God that gave access to all sinners; the privilege to come back to God. 2 Corinthians 5:19 says, "To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation." God not imputing sin to man's account is the acceptable year of the Lord.

Hebrews 8:12 says,
"For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more." In the acceptable year of God, God has decided to be merciful to man's unrighteousness. Within the period of the acceptable year of the Lord is another period called the day of the vengeance of our God. The day of the vengeance of the Lord is also called the great tribulation. Matthew 24:21 says, "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be." The day of the Lord's vengeance shall be a terrible moment for the inhabitants of the earth. For this course, God has commissioned the church of Christ to warn unsaved men and women to repent and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

The day of the vengeance of our God is also called in scripture: the day of Jacob's trouble. Jeremiah 30:7 says, "Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it." We have seen trying moments on the earth but none of the trying events on the earth can be compared to the reality of the day of the vengeance of the Lord. Trust me, you will not desire your enemy to go through the period of the great tribulation. But here is the good news for the saints of the Lord Jesus. Take note of the last expression in the above verse of scripture. "He shall be saved out of it." The "he" in the about scripture is referring to the church of Christ. The believers in Christ shall be saved out of the day of the vengeance of our God.

Scriptures for meditation for today: Matthew 5:14 and 2 Corinthians 5:21.

PRAYER

Father in the name of Jesus, I declare that my mind is inundated with the truth about your second coming. I am not unaware of the reality of your second coming. I make progress in the ministry of reconciliation. The word of God has full expression from me to the world of unsaved men and women. I triumph in every place. Amen.

Moment of Realities
Topic -: The return of Christ. Pt16
Wednesday, May 20th.
Apostle O. Isaac

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come (1 Thessalonian 1:10).

The greatest privilege accorded to believers in Christ is the rapture of the believer at the return of Jesus Christ. The dead in Christ will hear the call of Jesus Christ at the return of Jesus Christ. Also the believers who will be alive will hear the call of Jesus Christ. It's a privilege accorded to believers to put on immortality at the return of Jesus Christ. Glory hallelujah!!! 1John 3:2 says, "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is."

The thought of becoming exactly like Jesus Christ at the return of Jesus Christ is glorious enough to live for the interest of God's kingdom on this earth. You can see why we are instructed to seek the kingdom of God first and every other thing will be added to us. There is only one thing that has eternal value in the life of the believer as we journey on the earth. And that one thing is the expansion of the kingdom of God on the earth. Anything done by the believer that is not targeted at the expansion of God's kingdom on the earth has no eternal value in the life of the believer in the sight of God.

1 Corinthians 3:13-15 says, "Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire." We can see from the above verses of scripture that all our works on the earth will be tried by fire at the end of this world. Any work done by the believer that is not done in regard to the expansion of God's kingdom will attract no reward.

Take note of something from the above verse of scripture: any work from the believer that doesn't stand the test of God's kingdom expansion will be burnt. But the good news is that the believer will still be saved. Meaning, God in Christ has guaranteed the eternal safety of the believer in Christ. We are saved eternally in Christ to produce good works while still on the earth for the interest of God's kingdom. Here is the take home truth from today's teaching: everyone in Christ will be raptured at the return of Jesus Christ.

There is no such thing as only true Christians will be raptured at the return of Jesus Christ. There is no fake son of God. It's either one is the son of God or such a fellow is not. We don't have fake sons of God. We only have sons of God. The sons of God are those who received the life of Christ. It literally means that, every son of God will be raptured at the return of Jesus Christ. We have teachings in the body of Christ that engenders unbelief and we have accurate teachings in the body of Christ that engenders godly faith toward God. This I say, everyone in Christ will be raptured at the return of Jesus Christ.

Scriptures for meditation for today: John 10:27-28 and Romans 8:2.

PRAYER

Father in the name of Jesus, I'm grateful for the privilege accorded to me in Christ Jesus. I'm saved and sustained by the grace of Jesus Christ. I'm heir according to the promise of the spirit of life. I declare that eternal life is at work in me. I'm God's best in my space of operation. I'm the one whom the Lord is delighted to show mercy. Thank you Lord. Amen.

Moment of Realities
Topic -: The return of Christ. Pt15
Tuesday, May 19th.
Apostle O. Isaac

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come (1 Thessalonian 1:10).

It has been established during this month's teaching series that the return of Christ is the hope of the church. Take for instance, the death of Jesus Christ without the resurrection could have amounted to nothing. The church of Christ came from the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In the same light, the future of the church of Christ is hinged upon the return of Jesus Christ. Meaning, without focus on the return of Jesus Christ, the influence of the church on the earth will amount to nothing.

This I say, the persecution of the church can never stop the influence of the church on the earth. Matthew 16:18 says,
"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." The church of Christ on earth will advance her course on the earth and the gate of hell can't withstand the influence of the church. The church of Christ is built on the revelation of Jesus Christ. One among other revelations of Jesus Christ is the revelation of the return of Jesus Christ. The revelation of the return of Jesus Christ is the lifeline for the influence of the church of Christ on the earth.

For this course, we will be considering some critical areas about the return of Jesus Christ. Another expression for the return of Jesus Christ is the second coming of Jesus Christ. We shall use both expressions in the course of this series. The first critical area of consideration is the rapture of the church of Christ. The church of Christ comprises everyone that received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Either dead or still alive. So, what is the rapture of the church of Christ?

It's important to know that, you will not find the word rapture in the scripture. So, what is rapture? The word rapture means caught up. The rapture of the church is the belief that, at Christ's second coming, believers who are alive will be "Caught up" to meet him in the air, together with believers who have died and been resurrected. The event of the rapture of the church is the most anticipated event for the church of Christ. There was a time that the church anticipated the coming of the holy Spirit upon believers and the Holy Spirit came upon believers in the day of Pentecost. From the day of Pentecost till the return of Jesus Christ, the holy Spirit will come upon everyone that received Jesus Christ as Lord and savior.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 says, "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

Scriptures for meditation for today: John 10:27-28 and Jude 1:20.

PRAYER

Father in the name of Jesus, my heart is full of joy for the return of Jesus Christ. My mind is inundated with hope in the return of Jesus Christ. I grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. For this course, I declare that my life is beautiful in all seasons. I make progress with the holy Spirit. I advance God's interest on the earth. Amen.

Moment of Realities
Topic -: The return of Christ. Pt14
Monday, May 18th.
Apostle O. Isaac

He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true (John 3:33).

The scriptures (Genesis to Malachi) are the testimonies of the prophets about the life and person of the man Jesus Christ. It is safe to say that, the revelation of Jesus Christ is the revealing of God. This is why; the only condition for a man to be saved from eternal condemnation is to believe in the man Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 says, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

The man Jesus Christ is the only way to know God. We know for sure that, every religion on earth lay claims to believe in God through their own chosen mediators. But we know better that, those claimed mediators died and that was the end of them. Romans 1:1-4 says, "Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; and declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead."

The gospel which I am sharing with you is not a new age ideology. The gospel is not a new way to say nice things about God. The gospel is the only saving ability of God for man from eternal condemnation. Romans 1:16 says, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."

When a man hears and believes the gospel, eternal salvation is accorded to such a fellow. This means, aside from the hearing of the gospel of Christ, a man can't truly experience the power of God and the peace of eternal safety that comes with the new life in Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 15:45 says, "And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit."

The first Adam through disobedience, brought the entire human race under the hold of sin and death. But the second Adam (Jesus Christ) through obedience to the death on the cross has made eternal life available for the whole of humanity. Yes, eternal life is made available to the whole of humanity but the only condition to receive eternal life is to believe and receive the man Jesus Christ as Lord and savior. Today's teaching is to help us understand what the gospel of Christ is, so we can wait earnestly for the return of Christ.

Scriptures for meditation for today: John 17:17 and Romans 8:32.

PRAYER

My life is beautiful all because of Jesus Christ. I declare that, my entire being come in alignment with the gospel of Christ. My experiences align to the reality of the power and wisdom of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Moment of Realities
Topic -: The return of Christ. Pt13
Sunday, May 17th.
Apostle O. Isaac

Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 20:21).

God has a set order on how the church of Jesus Christ should function in Christ in this world. Take for instance, the church in the wilderness, which Moses preside over, had a set order of how worship to God should be carried out. Moses was instructed to ensure that, he built the tabernacle according to the pattern shown to him.

In today's teaching, we shall be considering a very vital aspect of the God kind of faith in view with our subject matter of this month. The patient waiting of the believer for the return of Jesus Christ must be anchored on faith toward God. For this course, our hearts must properly be established on the truth of God's word. Faith in God is taught as self-effort to be displayed by an individual Christian, as the proof of one's faith to God. What if I tell you that, there is nothing you can do to show your belief to God. There is no place in the written word, where the fellow in Christ is told to do something as a proof of his/her faith in God.

The proof of our faith in God is the Holy Spirit at home in us. We have heard of instances where some sick Christians were told to show their faith to God by abandoning their medication as proof of their faith in God. Our faith in God is not based on our works. Our faith in God is based on Jesus Christ. It is important to know that, the expression of our faith in God is not human effort based. The expression of our faith in God is based on the reality of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 6:1 says, "Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God." Faith toward God is the foundation of the Christian faith. What we mean by the above statement is that, faith is not man centered. For as such, we can't prove our faith to God with any self-effort.

We do everything we do for the sake of God's kingdom because we are born of God's spirit. Our giving, our labor for lost souls and every other kingdom advancement involvement are not proof of our faith to God. By the predetermined counsel of God, every fellow in Christ ought to produce good works as a default reality of the newness of life in Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit in us is the only proof of our faith to God.

Scriptures for meditation for today: Ephesians 2:10 and Romans 8:11.

PRAYER

I put my gaze on the reality of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I am redeemed from shame to a glorious life in Christ Jesus. I function in the light of the gospel of Christ. Amen.

Saturday, May 16th.
Apostle O. Isaac

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come (1 Thessalonians 1:10).

Isaiah 45:18 says,
"For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else." In the above verse of scripture, the prophet Isaiah is showing us that God didn't create the earth in vain. The word 'vain' in the above verse of scripture was translated from the Hebrew word 'tôhû' and the word tohu means: formlessness, confusion, unreality, or emptiness. Genesis 1:2 says, "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."

The word 'void' was translated from the Hebrew word 'bôhû' and the word 'bohu' means: emptiness or waste. The word 'vain' in Isaiah 45:18 and the word 'void' in Genesis 1:2 has the same meaning. In Genesis 1:1-2, we are told that God created the heavens and the earth and the earth became empty. But in Isaiah 45:18, we are told that God didn't create the earth to be empty. Meaning, the prophet Isaiah began to look into the intent of God for creating the earth and the prophet Isaiah understood by the Holy Spirit that God didn't create the earth empty. God has a perfect intent for the earth. So what happened to the earth that made it empty?

In another month teaching series, we will explain what made the earth to be empty. But here is the relationship between the above thoughts and our subject of consideration in this month's teaching series. At the return of Jesus Christ, God will restore the earth to its original plan. This will now lead us to fact number five on scriptural facts about the return of Jesus Christ. Fact number five is that: at the return of Jesus Christ; it will bring final renewal. The earth and every created thing will be restored to its original purpose at the return of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 21:1-4 says, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

What a day of joy for all believers in Christ at the return of Jesus Christ. You can see why we are told in 1st John 3:3 that: he who has this hope, will purify his/her self. Everyone in Christ ought to expect the return of Jesus Christ with great desire. Titus 2:13-15 says, "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee."

Scriptures for meditation for today: 2 Corinthians 5:21 and Philemon 1:6.

PRAYER

Precious father, I thank you for your graciousness. My life is lighted by the revelation of the second coming of Jesus Christ to the earth. My heart is full of joy that when Jesus shall appear, I will look exactly like him. For this course, I declare that the gospel of Christ is prosperous in my mouth. Sinners hear the gospel in my mouth and they turn over to Jesus. Amen.

Apostle O. Isaac

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come (1 Thessalonians 1:10).

It's vital to know that, hope is the key element for the future of the church of Christ. Without hope, the church will remain trapped in self actualization. For this course, the hope of the return of Christ is set before us to live in expectation towards. In today's teaching, we shall continue on the path of considering scriptural facts about the return of Christ. Fact number four: the return of Christ will involve judgment and resurrection.

1 Thessalonians 1:3 says, "Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father." Our work of faith will count for us at the return of Jesus Christ. Our labor of love will count for us at the return of Jesus Christ. Our patience of hope in Christ will count for us at the return of Jesus Christ. For this course, we are to give earnest heed to our work of faith, our labor of love and our patience of hope in Christ. When Jesus Christ shall appear in his second coming, He will appear with reward for the whole of humanity. Some will be rewarded with the crown of righteousness. While some others will be rewarded with eternal condemnation in hell fire.

Matthew 25:31-34 says "When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world."

John 5:28-29 say, "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation." At the return of Jesus Christ, there shall be resurrection of the dead and transformation of believers who will still be alive. The day of the return of Jesus Christ is a glorious day for the believer to look forward to. The joy of believers on the day of the return of Jesus Christ will know no end.

To this end, we look forward with great expectation to the day of the return of Jesus Christ. The day of the return of Jesus Christ is not a day of sadness for the believer in Christ. The return of Jesus Christ is our hope for active Christian living. As we progress in these series, we shall reveal some erroneous teachings about the return of Jesus Christ. A great number of believers don't know anything about the return of Jesus Christ. While some others are scared to talk about the return of Jesus Christ. For this course, I'm showing you the gloriousness of the return of Jesus Christ.

Scriptures for meditation for today: Luke 21:36 and 2 Peter 3:11-12.

PRAYER

Father in the name of Jesus, My life is showing forth your goodness in and out of season. I declare your goodness over my life. In Christ, I have the experience of God's unending mercies. I am highly favored. I am blessed beyond measure. Amen.

Topic -: The return of Christ. Pt9
Tuesday, May 12th.
Apostle O. Isaac

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come (1 Thessalonians 1:10).

There is nothing done by God that is not first revealed by God to his children. John 15:15 says, "Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you." Here is the good news. The return of Jesus Christ is revealed in the Holy scriptures. The prophets spoke very loudly and very clearly about the first and second coming of Jesus Christ to the earth. In the first coming of Jesus Christ to the earth, he came to solve the issue of sin for man once and for all. But in the second coming of Jesus Christ to the earth, he is coming to execute God's judgement on the earth.

For this course, it's important that we give ourselves to the things communicated in the scripture about the return of Jesus Christ. We will begin from today's teaching to consider some scriptural facts about the return of Jesus Christ. Fact number one: the return of Jesus Christ is certain and personal. Oftentimes, men make promises that they don't have the power to keep. 2 Corinthians 1:20 says, "For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us." The promise of God on the return of Jesus Christ is certain and it's personal. Jesus Christ is coming back again to rescue (rapture) us individually not as a group. Yes, we are saved in Christ to look out for the growth of one another as we journey on the earth.

Acts 1:11 says, "Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven." Jesus Christ didn't disappear suddenly from the earth. Jesus Christ ascended into heaven in the midst of human witnesses. In the same manner, He will return for his bride - the church. The return of Jesus Christ is the greatest hope of the church of Jesus Christ. It's important to know that, without hope for the return of Jesus Christ; the Church of Christ on earth is not different from social groups.

John 14:3 says, "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." Hallelujah, Jesus Christ is coming back again. To this end, we are not waiting for the return of Christ as those waiting for something that is not certain. Yes, the return of Jesus Christ is certain and sure to happen. Fact number two about the return of Jesus Christ. The return of Jesus Christ will be visible and glorious. All eyes will see him when Jesus Christ returns. The return of Jesus Christ will not just be a sign that many will not be aware of. Rather everyone on earth at the return of Jesus Christ will witness the sign of the return of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 24:30-31 says, "And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." The return of Jesus Christ to the earth will be the most visible and glorious event that the earth will ever experience. The return of Jesus Christ is the believer's hope for holy living. Yes, Jesus Christ is coming back again.

Scriptures for meditation for today: Revelation 1:7 and Jude 1:20.

PRAYER

Father in the name of Jesus, I am grateful for the news of the return of Jesus Christ to me. I rejoice in hope for the return of Jesus Christ to the earth. For this course, I declare that my life counts daily for your interest. I make progressive use of your gifts in my life. Amen.

Moment of Realities
Topic -: The return of Christ. Pt8
Monday, May 11th.
Apostle O. Isaac

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (2 Peter 1:4).

Christianity is viewed by a lot of people as a very great religion on the earth. But in true essence, Christianity is more than a religion. Christianity is the impartation of divinity on humanity. The creator of the whole universe resides in those who have received Christ life. In Christianity, we don't try to go to our father. The father is already at home in us. For this course, we are expected to give expression to the reality of the father outwardly. In today's teaching, we shall be considering the role of the believer in Christ in partnering with the divine realities of God while we await the return of Jesus Christ.

1 Timothy 6:12 says,
"Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses." There is such a thing as the fight of faith. In Christianity, we are not told to put on a fleshly fight but rather we are told to fight the good fight of faith. In the fight of faith, believers enforce their right in Christ Jesus. We are not told to just sit down and allow things to align to our reality in Christ. The obvious truth is that, our chief enemy (the devil) will not allow things to align well to us. For this course, we are told to fight the good fight of faith.

In our opening text, we are told that we are born again into exceeding precious promises. And with the precious promises, we are to be a partaker of God's divine nature. The word "partaker" in our opening text is gotten from the Greek word "koinōnos" and the word "koinōnos" means: to partner or to participate. God doesn't want us to be hoping that his power will do things for us one day. But rather, God wants us to partner with his divine nature to bring things to bear in this tangible world for our advantage.

Take for instance, if you have a two year old child. You will always be on your toes once the child wants food. You will not tell the child to get food for his/her self from the Kitchen. But once that child grows and becomes a teenager, you can comfortably tell the child to enter the kitchen and get food for his/her self. While we are babes in Christ, God often answer our give me and give me prayers. But as we mature in the knowledge of Christ, God wants us to participate in his divine nature to make things happen for our benefits. 1 Corinthians 12:1 says, "Now about the spiritual gifts (the special endowments of supernatural energy), brethren, I do not want you to be misinformed. (AMP)".

In the verse of Scripture above, we are shown the need to have accurate knowledge concerning the special endowments that we have in Christ. The king James version calls these special endowments as spiritual gifts. These spiritual gifts are the means by which we participate in the divine nature of Christ. The take home point for today's teaching is that, God wants you and I to grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, so in turn we will be able to handle spiritual realities.

Scriptures for meditation for today: Romans 1:11 and Jude 1:20.

PRAYER

Father in the name of Jesus, immortality is brought to bear in my body through the gospel of Jesus Christ. I declare that everything is working out for me. Life is easy for me. I make progress with ease. Amen.
