THREE THINGS THEY DON'T KNOW OR THEY IGNORE...
when they say you're the reason why people (esp. youths) are leaving AG in droves to other churches.
1. Those who leave are either new members, young converts or church attendees who are in AG churches for other reasons other than getting to know and experience God in person as well desiring to make heaven.
2. They leave because the church will not allow them to mix the worship of God with their selfish interests, which can bother around a desire to taste the bliss of the world, live in the make-believe form or liberal Christian life, allows idolatrous passions to go rife as manifest in fashion craze, material pursuits, sating the flesh, and a deep hatred for being reminded of their irrevocable fate as secret or boldfaced, careless sinners, when life here ends.
3. They leave because the Holy Spirit is gone. No one will leave a church where common worship alone can keep everyone up in God's Presence for hours, even when you deliberately try to end the worship session.
No one will leave a church where God uses even strangers to expose sinners in the church during such weekly fellowships as Bible study.
No one will leave a church where prophesies hardly come from the preacher, but pours in in torrent from ordinary members, telling them about their lives, their future, their past and their calling.
No one will leave a church where dangers are revealed during night vigils from common members and not pastors, and good news are delivered to individual members through the prophecies, word of knowledge, or even revelation/vision, and common members are the channels God uses, not really preachers - messages that later and always come to pass.
No one.will leave a church where the pastor's messages every time is the anticipation of her members, so much that years can pass, you won't hear the church is hosting a visiting preacher, simply because the pastor receives his messages from God, meaning, he feeds his members beyond their expectations.
No one will leave a church where before any form of attack can strike, the church will know, whether the attack is spiritual or physical, against an individual or against the church.
No one will leave a church where the Holy Spirit conducts services and still follows members to their homes, making sure their experiences in the church stay fresh with their hearts for days.
These and many more were our weekly experiences in AG before, and you said I should not shout? No,.I will shout...
Why are we not going to shout, is this the ag that our grandfathers handed ove to our fathes.
