IF YOU FEEL LIKE GIVING UP, READ THIS!!

1. This is a Phase.
Tough times are just a phase. They don't last forever. Life is a cycle of highs and lows. Remember, this too shall pass. You're in the middle of the storm now, but clear skies are ahead. Hold on.

2. You Are Stronger Than You Think.
Never underestimate your resilience.

- You've survived 100% of your bad days.
- Inside you, there is an inner strength.
- Your potential is greater than any problem.

Remember, you're stronger and more capable than you believe.

3. Small Steps Count.
Progress isn't always a leap forward. Sometimes it's tiny, almost imperceptible steps. Each step, no matter how small, brings you closer to your goal. Celebrate every bit of progress. Slow and steady can still win the race. Keep moving forward.

4. Remember Your 'Why'.
Think back to the reasons why you started. Reconnect with your motivation and your goals.

5. Failure is a Stepping Stone.
It's okay to fall but it's important to rise again. Every setback brings learning opportunities. Remember, every great success story involves overcoming obstacles. Keep going. Your story is being written.

Self-care is essential, especially during tough times.

- Eat nutritious food
- Exercise regularly
- Get adequate sleep
- Connect with loved ones
- Engage in activities that bring joy.

Remember, you're not alone in this journey.

- Reach out to friends, family, or professionals
- Open up about your struggles
- Seek support when you need it

Strength isn't just about enduring in silence. It's also knowing when to ask for help.

You Own Nothing, You Lose Nothing...

If you buy land or buy a house, you have only paid rent for the remaining years you have on Earth. None of them belongs to you.

If you buy a car, you have only paid for your transport for the period the car will last or for the period you will last. It doesn't belong to you.

If you marry a spouse, you have only got company until circumstances or death do you part. No one owns the other.

If you have children, you have only fulfilled the demand of continuity of life until death comes. You don't own them. That's why the State still dictates how you bring them up.

If you have money, you have only amassed value to purchase what you want, for your remaining number of years on Earth. The notes belong to the Central Bank.

If you work and retire, your pension is only for life. After your life, it stops.

Even if you eat and get filled, the food in your belly isn't yours. You must defecate it back to Earth.

The body itself which you cherish so highly, doesn't belong to you. The Earth will certainly reclaim its bits, when the loan is due.

Even the life we live is borrowed, and surely will be returned.

So let us not be afraid of losing anything in this life, because we do not own anything here. Two things will surely happen; we will either be taken away from everything we think we own or everything we think we own will be taken away from us someday. It is that day that none of us know.

We boast about our body, our houses, our lands, our money, our wives, our husbands, our children, our parents, our everything. But that's where it ends. Boasting! Ruminate intensely and it won't be difficult to find out that, we do not own any of those things. We are only availed of them to mitigate the necessary constraints of our sojourn here.

So never lose your head or your cool or your temper or your values or your vibrancy, whenever you that you have lost something because nothing was ever really yours. Not even yourself....

Breaking:

About 5years ago, it was speculated Mr Ibu was paid about 80million by GOtv for ambassadorship. And also GLO, about 20-30million. Same with Chiwetalu Agu and some other aging Nollywood stars. Amaechi Muonago had series of advert he got paid for and other contracts, not adding up the pay as an actor.

The question I have asked myself a thousand times is where are all the monies? The deal, the contract etc! Where did they bury it. I am ashamed on behalf of these actors each time they are sick and they appear online for help. Like, what in the blue-hell happened to all they have earned all through the years? Even people who don't get paid half of what they are paid take care of their health when it is worse. And I ask, did they use the money to train their kids? Fine, their kids should be taking care of them. Or was it house rent? Like, they had no investment with all the millions they are paid? Today, Natty Bruce, the Karat Nollywood karate king died too. Report came he died from the said hardship that has ravaged the Nollywood legends: sickness.

We have had Clem Ohameze came online to beg for help while sick. Ernest Asuzu suffered liver disease and died even after been helped online. James, Obi Madubugwu and the list so long have all come online for help and many of them couldn't still make it. The question is, are these men not being paid enough to save and invest against those terrible times? Even the ones paid in millions. What happened to the money? Please don't get me wrong. I am not judging these men, not even a spite. I am making a statement for our youths who have future. You have to start saving and investing no matter the amount of money you make now. You have to be deliberate about this. I don't know who is reading this but please, in the name of God you serve, start saving and diversifying your income, the grass does not remain greener always. There are times it withers.

Serge Gnabry, the former Arsenal player told a story of when he broke into Arsenal first team and they paid him a few thousand pounds and he began spending money on wears and bags and one day, his mother called him to order and told him, "save and invest, son. This period may never last forever." Like joke, a few months, he got injured and fell out of favor. Arsenal had to send him to West Brom to see if he could recover. He dropped drastically until he left England to Germany. And guess what? That period, he wasn't on a payroll. He was broke. His parents lent him money. After his career revived in Germany, the first he began doing was cut expenses and invested. He learnt the hard way. I don't have to exhaust my head here. But, let he that hath ears, hear.

DO THESE TWO THINGS IF YOU WANT TO OVERCOME TEMPTATIONS 👇

When the time for Jesus' arrest was drawing near, He sensed an unusual burden to stay connected with His Father through prayers. So He took His disciples to Gethsemane where He prayed.

When He realized that His disciples were sleeping and could not pray with Him, He gave them a very instructive and powerful message that would help them overcome temptations that poses before them.

He said to them "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak (Matt. 26:41)

This same message is still helpful and applicable to us today.

If you want to overcome your temptations, do these two things:

1. Watch: To watch means to be cautious and circumspect. To watch means to be mindful of something. It means to be vigilant.

When you're watchful, you cannot be taken unawares by temptations.

The essence of being watchful is to detect when the temptation is within.
So, watchfulness is a weapon for the detection of any temptation around the corner.

The reason some people fall into temptation is because they're not watchful.

The Bible says that the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour, therefore we should be self-controlled and alert (1 Peter 5:8)

A lady is exposing her thighs and cleavages before you and you're still their discussing with her~~~~ Watch.

A Yahoo boy asked you to come and join his business and you're giving it a thought ~~~Watch

A brother is asking you to come to his house by night and you want to go ~~~~ watch.

2. Pray: To overcome temptations, we need prayers. This is because we do not sustain the strength or the ability to overcome temptations on our own.

When we pray, we are drawing strength from God. We are telling God to help us, else we will compromise and fall into the temptation.

While watchfulness helps us to detect the temptation, prayer helps us to withstand it and maintain uncompromising standard.

Temptation is inevitable to believers. God is more interested in what you do to overcome temptation than the temptation itself, because the scripture stated it clearly that they must come.

Sometimes, this temptation will come when God wants to usher you into a higher dimension of your destiny. So, you must be watchful and prayerful.

Jesus faced temptations from the devil before His earthly ministry began. Who are we not to face temptations?

Remember, God does not tempt His people (James 1:13). All temptations comes from the devil.

Temptation on its own is not a sin until you fail to overcome it. The moment you give in to temptation and it overcomes you, you have sinned.

I pray for you, may you never face any temptation you cannot overcome in Jesus name, Amen 🙏🙏

MORNING TEA

Those who DOWNGRADE you today will soon see your UPGRADE. Don’t get discouraged by what they say about you, don’t be moved by their evil orchestrations, God is BIGGER than them. Those who LOOK DOWN on you will end up LOOKING UP to you, those who underestimate your worth will end up clapping for you, God is going to use the struggles to bless you, He is going to lift you up even in the sufferings. Just be patient, do not rush or else you are going to crush.

May your day and rest of the week be full of positive energy and good news and may your blessings overshadow every curse in Jesus’ Name.

“The evil you do remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!”

A woman baked cake for members of her family and an extra one for a hungry passerby. She kept the extra cake on the window sill, for whosoever would take it away. Every day, a hunchback came and took away the cake. Instead of expressing gratitude, he muttered the following words a she went his way: “The evil you do remains with you: The good you do,comes back to you!” This went on, day after day. Every day, the hunchback came, picked up the cake and uttered the words: “The evil you do remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!”The woman felt irritated. “Not a word of gratitude,” she said to herself… “Everyday this hunchback utters this jingle! What does he mean?”
One day,exasperated, she decided to do away with him. “I shall get rid of this hunchback,” she said. And what did she do? She added poison to the cake she prepared for him! As she was about to keep it on the window sill, her hands trembled.“What is this I am doing?” she said. Immediately, she threw the cake into the fire,prepared another one and kept it on the window sill.
As usual, the hunchback came, picked up the cake and muttered the words:“The evil you do, remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!”The hunchback proceeded on his way,blissfully unaware of the war raging in the mind of the woman. Everyday, as the woman placed the cake on the window sill, she offered a prayer for her son who had gone to a distant place to seek his fortune. For many months, she had no news of him. She prayed for his safe return.That evening, there was a knock on the door. As she opened it, she was surprised to find her son standing in the door way.He had grown thin and lean. His garments were tattered and torn. He was hungry, starved and weak. As he saw his mother, he said, “Mom,it’s a miracle I’m here.While I was but a mile away, I was so famished that I collapsed. I would have died, but just then an old hunchback passed by. I begged of him for a morsel of food, and he was kind enough to give me a whole cake. As he gave it to me, he said,“This is what I eatevery day: today, I shall give it to you, for your need is greater than mine!”” As the mother heard those words, her face turned pale. She leaned against the door for support. She remembered the poisoned cake that she had made that morning.Had she not burnt it in the fire, it would have been eaten by her own son, and he would have lost his life!It was then that she realized the significance of the words:

I may not know how many times you've failed in trying to succeed in life but one thing I do know is failure shouldn't be what stops you from trying to live a successful life. Many great people you address as successful today failed severally in their own time but didn't give up until they achieved success. This is your own time, and the decision you make now whether to give up or not will determine whether generations to come will also address you as a successful person or a downright failure.

Gunmen Attack Apostle Suleman’s Convoy, 4 Policemen And His Daughter Dead

Gunmen on Friday attacked the convoy of the Senior Pastor and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) International, Apostle Johnson Suleman.

According to reports gathered, the cleric’s convoy was ambushed by unknown gunmen on Warake road in Auchi, Edo State.

Four policemen, one driver and a little girl who is the cleric’s little daughter have been confirmed dead.

*Austin Jay Jay Okocha's lesson!*.
*When he received one of his awards recently, Okocha dedicated it to a certain ... Victor Agbo
Then said: "Yes I am a great footballer and all my success is due to my friend Victor good heart" People looked at one another and said, "Who is this Mr. Agbo?"*

*Then Okocha went on: "We played together in a youth team. When Enugu Rangers recruiters came to observe us, they told us that the striker who scored the most goals will be recruited into the sports academy.*

*That day we won 3-0. I scored the first goal and then Victor scored the 2nd with the head. And then the 3rd goal was the one that impressed everyone. Victor started from the wing, then found himself face to face with the keeper, dribbled the goalkeeper and all he had to do was to push the ball into the empty goal post . In the meantime I was running to his side and instead of shooting into the empty goal post, Victor decided to pass the ball to me and I scored. This is how I found myself at the Enugu Rangers youth team. After the game I went to him, and asked him "why did you do that?" And he replied, "Because I know that you are better than I am and You will go far in life in this game, you needed that push* "

*Curious to know more, the journalists began to investigate and were able to meet this Victor Agbo to ask him if the story told by Okocha is true, and he confirmed it, adding that his career as a footballer ended after that match as it was the only opportunity to become professional but i was sure Okocha would go far and do better. So I remained unemployed fulfilled and happy.*

*However, journalists, observing his luxurious house and his fleet of cars parked in the garage asked Victor "but being unemployed how could you have such a house and cars and living so luxuriously? You seem rather comfortable physically " Victor's answer: "All that? .. is Okocha ".*

*Moral of this story:
Let us ask ourselves the following question: How many of us have ever done something like Okocha and Victor? On the contrary, many of us show the opposite of this story displaying selfishness and ingratitude.*

*Friends! Let's help one another to succeed, don't think blocking that intelligent, talented and good fellow can add to your ordained destiny. You can not go nor have beyond what God has destined for you. Helping another person to succeed can only make your life better and above all guarantee a blissful hereafter for you.*

*Victor might not have made it big like Okocha, and Okocha might still have made it in another way but Victor wouldn't have had access to such Luxury. You see life! Open your heart and broaden your thinking. Be an abundant mentality personality. God will always be there at your own point of need too.*

*And when we help a person to succeed, the latter must never forget those who contributed to his success. Whether they forget or not, God doesn't abandon His own.
*Above all, we should never forget that God is watching and He will judge us.*
*Life is all about Your CONTRIBUTION and never about your POSSESSION!*
