STOP BEING ANGRY WHEN SOME PRIESTS DO NOT RESPOND TO YOUR GREETINGS BEFORE MASS.
In the Catholic Church, the celebration of the Mass is a sacred and solemn occasion, and priests have specific responsibilities and preparations to undertake before leading the congregation in worship. While it may seem like some priests do not respond to greetings before Mass, there are a few reasons behind this behavior that contribute to creating an atmosphere of reverence and focus.
1. Preparation and Reverence: Before the Mass begins, priests often engage in personal prayer and reflection to prepare themselves spiritually for leading the congregation. This time allows them to enter into a state of deep concentration and reverence. In this mindset, they may choose not to engage in casual conversation or distractions, as they prioritize their focus on the sacred task ahead.
2. Mental and Spiritual Preparation: The role of a priest during the Mass is to act in persona Christi, representing Christ to the community. This requires mental and spiritual preparation to ensure they are fully present and open to the divine presence. By maintaining a peaceful and contemplative state, they can better embrace their role as spiritual leaders and guide the faithful through the liturgy.
3. Respect for the Eucharist: The Eucharist, also known as Holy Communion, is a central element of the Catholic Mass. Catholic priests hold a deep reverence for the Eucharist, believing in its transformation into the body and blood of Christ. To ensure proper reverence for this sacrament, priests often maintain a prayerful demeanor before Mass and may choose to limit social interactions during this time.
While it might seem that some priests are not responding to greetings, it is important to remember that their focus lies in their spiritual responsibilities and the sacredness of the Mass. They deeply value the worship experience and strive to create an atmosphere conducive to encountering the divine.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up our Altar Servers to You, dear Lord. Bless them with Your loving presence as they serve at the altar. Grant them humility, reverence, and a deep sense of awe as they assist in the celebration of the Eucharist.

May their service be a source of joy and inspiration to others, and may they always remember that they are serving You, dear Lord. Protect them from distractions, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit.

We pray that their experience as Altar Servers will deepen their faith, foster a sense of community, and inspire them to become faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.

We ask this through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

May God bless all Altar Servers!*
