Title: STANDING FIRM IN SPIRITUAL BATTLES

Main Bible Text: Ephesians 6:13
"Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."

Introduction
As Christians, we face different battles in life. Some battles are physical, while others are spiritual. There are times when we pray and still face difficulties, opposition, temptation, fear, or discouragement.
But God has not called us to run away from every battle. He has given us strength to stand firm in Him.

Standing firm means trusting God even when things are difficult. It means refusing to give up your faith because of what you are going through.

The Bible says in Ephesians 6:12, "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers..."
Our strength comes from God, not from ourselves.

1. Put Your Trust in God
When we face spiritual battles, we must remember that God is greater than whatever is fighting against us.
David faced Goliath when everyone else was afraid. David did not depend on his own strength. He trusted in God.
1 Samuel 17:45 says, "You come against me with sword and spear... but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty."
David stood firm because he knew that God was with him.
When you know that God is with you, you do not have to live in fear.

2. Stand Firm in Faith
Faith helps us remain strong when we cannot see the answer yet.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow to King Nebuchadnezzar's golden image. They knew they could be thrown into the fiery furnace, but they remained faithful to God.
Daniel 3:17-18 shows their confidence in God. They believed God could deliver them, but even if He did not, they would still refuse to worship the idol.
That is true spiritual strength—trusting God regardless of the outcome.

3. Use the Word of God
Jesus Himself used the Word of God when Satan tempted Him in the wilderness.
Each time Satan tempted Him, Jesus answered with Scripture: "It is written." (Matthew 4:1-11)
This teaches us that God's Word is a powerful weapon in spiritual battles.
When fear says, "You cannot overcome," remember God's Word.
When discouragement says, "Give up," remember God's promises.
When temptation comes, stand on the Word of God.

4. Keep Praying
Prayer keeps us connected to God during difficult times.
Daniel continued praying even when a law was made against praying to anyone except the king. He did not stop praying to God.
Daniel 6:10 tells us that Daniel continued to pray as he had done before.
His enemies threw him into the lions' den, but God protected him.
Do not stop praying because the battle is difficult. Your difficult season is not a reason to stop praying; it is a reason to pray even more.

5. Put on the Whole Armor of God
Ephesians 6:13-18 speaks about the armor of God:
The belt of truth
The breastplate of righteousness
The shoes of the Gospel of peace
The shield of faith
The helmet of salvation
The sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God
Prayer
God has given us spiritual weapons to help us stand.
You may feel weak, but you are not defenseless. God has equipped you for the battle.

Child of God!
Spiritual battles will come, but we do not have to face them alone.
David stood before Goliath.
Daniel stood firm in prayer.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stood firm in their faith.
Jesus stood firm against temptation.
Their examples remind us that we can stand firm when our trust is in God.

Whatever battle you are facing today, do not give up. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep reading God's Word. Keep your eyes on Jesus.

Remember: The battle may be great, but our God is greater.

Ephesians 6:10:
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might."

Title: BELIEVE IN GOD AT ALL TIMES

Main Text: Daniel 3:10–30
“Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us… But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods.”

Believing in God is easy when everything is going well. But the real test of our faith comes when we are facing problems, delays, sickness, rejection, or situations that look impossible.
God wants us to believe in Him at all times—when things are good and when things are difficult.

The Bible gives us powerful examples of people who trusted God even when their lives were in danger. Among them were Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and Daniel.
Their faith teaches us that God is faithful, and we should never stop believing in Him.

1. Believe in God Even When You Are Under Pressure

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were commanded by King Nebuchadnezzar to bow down and worship a golden image.
Everyone around them bowed down, but they refused.
The king threatened to throw them into a burning furnace if they did not obey.
But they answered:

“Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace.”
— Daniel 3:17

They believed that God could save them.
But their faith was even greater than that. They said that even if God did not deliver them, they still would not worship the idol.

Lesson:
*True faith does not say, “I will believe God only if He gives me what I want.”

*True faith says, “God is still my God, whether I understand what He is doing or not.”

2. God Can Be With You in the Fire

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into the fiery furnace.
The king expected to see three men burning, but when he looked into the fire, he saw four men walking around.
God did not allow the fire to destroy them.

Daniel 3:25 says:
“I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt.”

What a mighty God!
Sometimes God removes us from the fire.
Sometimes He allows us to pass through the fire, but He goes through it with us.

You may be going through your own “fire” today—financial problems, family problems, disappointment, rejection, or another difficult situation.

Do not give up.

If God allows you to enter the fire, He will not abandon you in the fire.

3. Believe in God When You Are Alone

Daniel also showed great faith in God.
The king made a law that nobody should pray to any god or person except the king for thirty days.
Daniel knew about the law, but he did not stop praying.

Daniel 6:10 says:
“He kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.”

Daniel did not change his relationship with God because of a new law.
He continued to pray.

Lesson:
*Do not allow people to make you stop believing in God.
*Do not stop praying because your prayer has not yet been answered.
*Do not stop serving God because you are passing through difficulties.
*Believe in God at all times.

4. Daniel Trusted God in the Lion's Den

Because Daniel continued praying, he was thrown into the lions' den.
Humanly speaking, it looked like the end.
But God shut the mouths of the lions.

Daniel 6:22 says:
“My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me.”

Daniel trusted God, and God proved Himself faithful.
The same God who protected Daniel is still God today.
God has not changed.

5. Your Situation Does Not Change Who God Is

Sometimes we judge God by our circumstances.
When things are good, we say, “God is good.”
But when things become difficult, we begin to ask, “Where is God?”

The truth is that God remains good even when our situation is bad.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego believed God before entering the furnace.
Daniel believed God before entering the lions' den.

They did not wait to see the miracle before they believed.

Faith says:
*“I don't know how God will do it, but I believe He will make a way.”
*“I may not understand, but I will trust Him.”
*“I may be going through the fire, but God is with me.”
*“I may be surrounded by lions, but God is able to protect me.”

6. Keep Believing Until the End
Your situation may be difficult today, but do not give up on God.
The answer may not come when you expect it.
The door may not open when you want it.
But remember the three Hebrew men and Daniel.
God is able to deliver.
And even when we do not understand His timing, we can still trust His wisdom.
Psalm 46:1 says:
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

Child of God,
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and Daniel teach us an important lesson:
Believe in God at all times.
Believe Him when you are happy.
Believe Him when you are crying.
Believe Him when you have plenty.
Believe Him when you have little.
Believe Him when the door is open.
Believe Him when the door seems closed.
Believe Him in the fire.
Believe Him in the lions' den.
God is faithful, and those who put their trust in Him will never be put to shame.
Do not bow to pressure.
Do not abandon your faith because of difficulties.
Do not stop praying because the answer is delayed.
Keep believing. Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep serving God.
Your testimony is coming!

Title: Living a Life That Pleases God

Main Text: Colossians 1:10
Colossians 1:10
[10]that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Introduction
As children of God, our greatest desire should not only be to receive blessings from God, but also to live a life that makes Him happy.
Pleasing God means living according to His Word, obeying Him, loving others, doing what is right even when nobody is watching, and trusting Him in every situation.

God is not looking for people who are perfect. He is looking for people whose hearts are willing to obey Him.
Hebrews 11:6 says, "But without faith it is impossible to please him."

How can we live a life that pleases God?

1. Live by Faith

Faith is one of the most important things that please God.
Hebrews 11:6 tells us that without faith, it is impossible to please God.

Biblical Example: Abraham
Abraham trusted God even when he did not know where God was taking him. God told him to leave his country and go to a land He would show him.
Abraham obeyed by faith.
Genesis 12:1-4
Sometimes God may ask us to do something we do not completely understand. We must learn to trust Him.
When we trust God even when we cannot see the way, we please Him.

2. Obey God's Word

God is pleased when we obey Him.
It is not enough to hear God's Word; we must practice it.
John 14:15:
"If ye love me, keep my commandments."

Biblical Example: Noah
God told Noah to build an ark because He was going to send a flood. Noah obeyed even though people probably did not understand what he was doing.
Genesis 6:22 says, "Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he."

Noah's obedience saved his household.
Delayed obedience is not the kind of obedience God desires.

3. Keep Your Heart Clean

God looks beyond our outward appearance. He looks at our hearts.
1 Samuel 16:7 says that man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.
We should avoid hatred, bitterness, unforgiveness, jealousy, pride, and evil thoughts.

Biblical Example: Joseph
Joseph was tempted by Potiphar's wife, but he refused to commit sin.

He said:
Genesis 39:9:
"How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?"

Joseph understood that even if nobody else saw him, God saw him.
We should remember that God sees us everywhere.

4. Love God and Love People

A life that pleases God must be filled with love.
Jesus said the greatest commandments are to love God and to love our neighbours.

Matthew 22:37-39
We cannot claim to love God while deliberately hurting and hating people.
We should learn to forgive, help those in need, encourage people, and show kindness.

5. Be Humble

God does not want us to live in pride.
James 4:6 says, "God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble."

Biblical Example: Jesus
Jesus was the perfect example of humility. Though He was the Son of God, He humbled Himself and became obedient even unto death.

Philippians 2:5-8
If Jesus could humble Himself, we too should learn to humble ourselves.

Do not allow success, position, money, beauty, or knowledge to make you look down on others.

6. Live a Life of Good Works

God wants us to be useful to His kingdom and to other people.
Ephesians 2:10 says that we were created in Christ Jesus unto good works.

Ask yourself:
Who can I help today?
Who can I encourage?
Who needs my prayer?
What good thing can I do for someone?
Small acts of kindness can make a great difference.

7. Let Your Life Be an Example

Our lives should point people to Christ.
Jesus said:
Matthew 5:16:
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

People should see Christ through our words, behaviour, marriages, families, workplaces, and relationships.

We should not be Christians only inside the church. Our Christianity should be visible everywhere.

8. Keep Growing Spiritually

A life that pleases God is a life that continues to grow.
Study God's Word. Pray regularly. Worship God. Fellowship with other believers. Listen to godly teachings and allow the Holy Spirit to correct you.

2 Peter 3:18:
"But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ."

We should not remain the same year after year. God wants us to become more like Christ.

Child of God!
Living a life that pleases God does not mean that we will never make mistakes. It means that when we fall, we get back up, repent, and continue walking with God.

Let us remember:

Faith pleases God.
Obedience pleases God.
Love pleases God.
Humility pleases God.
Holiness pleases God.
Good works please God.
A faithful heart pleases God.

Our goal should be to reach the end of our lives and hear the words:
"Well done, thou good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:21

May our lives bring joy and glory to God.

Title: THE GOD WHO NEVER FAILS
Bible Text: 1 Thessalonians 5:24
“Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”

Introduction
There are times when life becomes difficult and we begin to wonder, “Will God really answer me?”
People may fail us. Our plans may fail. But God never fails. His timing may be different from ours, but His promises are always true.

1. GOD NEVER FAILS IN HIS PROMISES

God promised Abraham a son, even when he and Sarah were old. It took many years, but God fulfilled His promise.
Genesis 21:1-2
Lesson: When God makes a promise, do not give up because of delay. God is faithful.

2. GOD NEVER FAILS IN DIFFICULT TIMES

The Israelites stood before the Red Sea with the Egyptian army behind them. They saw no way out, but God made a way through the sea.
Exodus 14:13-14
Lesson: When you cannot see a way, God can make a way.

3. GOD NEVER FAILS IN IMPOSSIBLE SITUATIONS

David faced Goliath, but David trusted God. He did not depend on his own strength.
1 Samuel 17:45
David said, “I come to thee in the name of the LORD.”
Lesson: Your problem may be bigger than you, but it is never bigger than God.

4. GOD NEVER ABANDONS HIS CHILDREN

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into the fiery furnace because they refused to deny God. But God was with them in the fire.
Daniel 3:25
Lesson: God may not always prevent the fire, but He will be with you in the fire.

Child of God,
Whatever you are going through today, do not give up on God.
Your situation may change, but God does not change.
Your prayer may seem delayed, but God has not forgotten you.
The God who helped Abraham, Moses, David, Daniel, and many others is still alive today.
The God who never failed before will not fail you now in Jesus name, amen.

SERMON TITLE: LORD, YOU MAKE ME WONDER

When God’s Works Leave You Amazed

Key Text: Psalm 126:1–3

“The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.” — Psalm 126:3

Introduction

There are moments in life when the only thing you can say is, “Lord, I am amazed!”

You look at where you started and where God has brought you, and you wonder.

You remember the doors that closed, yet somehow another door opened. You remember the battles you thought would destroy you, yet you are still standing. You remember the prayers you prayed with tears, and suddenly you see the answers.

You begin to ask:

“Lord, how did You do it?”

That is the place of wonder.

Our God is a God who can do things that human beings cannot explain. He specializes in turning hopeless situations into testimonies, barren places into fruitful places, and impossible situations into divine possibilities.

The psalmist said:

“The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.”

In other words, “What God has done is bigger than our explanation.”

1. GOD CAN MAKE YOU WONDER THROUGH HIS UNEXPECTED WAYS

Isaiah 55:8–9

God does not always work according to our plans.

Sometimes we say, “Lord, do it this way.”

But God says, “I have a better way.”

Joseph probably never imagined that the pit, slavery, and prison would become part of his journey to the palace.

Genesis 50:20 tells us that what people intended for evil, God could turn around for good.

What looked like a setback was actually preparation.

What looked like rejection was sometimes redirection.

What looked like delay was sometimes divine preparation.

2. GOD MAKES YOU WONDER WHEN HE TURNS IMPOSSIBILITIES INTO POSSIBILITIES

Luke 1:37

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

When God steps into an impossible situation, human calculations become irrelevant.

Sarah was old, but God gave her a child.

The Red Sea stood before Israel, but God created a way through it.

David faced Goliath, but God gave victory to the unlikely warrior.

The disciples saw thousands of hungry people, but Jesus multiplied five loaves and two fish.

God is still the God of impossibilities.

Maybe you are looking at something today and saying:

“There is no way.”

Remember this:

Where your ability ends, God's ability begins.

The Red Sea may be before you, but God can make a way.

The mountain may be high, but God can move it.

The situation may be difficult, but God is greater than the difficulty.

3. GOD CAN TURN YOUR TEARS INTO A TESTIMONY

Psalm 30:5

“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”

There are seasons when life makes you cry.

There are prayers that seem unanswered.

There are moments when you wonder why God has allowed certain things.

But your present chapter is not your entire story.

The God who sees your tears also knows how to produce joy from your sorrow.

Hannah wept because she had no child, but God eventually gave her Samuel.

Job lost much, but his story did not end in loss.

Peter failed Jesus, but failure was not the end of his ministry.

Sometimes God allows you to pass through a valley so that your testimony will become undeniable.

One day you will look back and say:

“Lord, now I understand why You kept me.”

4. GOD MAKES YOU WONDER THROUGH DIVINE PRESERVATION

Psalm 124:1–2

“If it had not been the LORD who was on our side…”

Sometimes the greatest miracle is not what God gave you but what God kept you from.

There are dangers you never knew existed.

There are battles you never knew were being fought.

There are traps you never saw.

Yet God preserved you.

You travelled and returned safely.

You went through difficult seasons and survived.

You faced opposition and remained standing.

You were surrounded by challenges, but grace carried you.

That is why you should never take your life for granted.

When you wake up every morning, remember:

“I am still here because God has been faithful.”

5. GOD CAN MAKE YOUR LIFE A TESTIMONY TO OTHERS

Matthew 5:16

Your testimony is not only for you.

God can bless you so that your life becomes evidence that He is faithful.

When people see what God has done in your life, they may begin to believe that God can also work in their lives.

The blind man in John 9 did not have a complicated theological explanation. He simply said:

“One thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.”

Sometimes your testimony is more powerful than an argument.

Someone may say, “I don't believe God can change people.”

Then they look at your life and see transformation.

Someone may say, “There is no hope.”

Then your testimony gives them courage.

God can turn your life into a living sermon.

6. WHEN GOD MAKES YOU WONDER, DON'T FORGET TO GIVE HIM GLORY

Deuteronomy 8:18

One of the dangers of receiving God's blessings is forgetting the God who gave them.

When the prayer is answered, remember God.

When the door opens, remember God.

When the business grows, remember God.

When the family is restored, remember God.

When the testimony comes, remember God.

Never allow the blessing to become more important than the Blesser.

The ten lepers were healed, but only one returned to Jesus to give thanks.

Luke 17:15–16

Don't just ask God for another miracle.

Stop sometimes and say:

“Lord, thank You for the miracles You have already performed.”

7. YOUR NEXT TESTIMONY MAY BE BIGGER THAN YOUR PRESENT STRUGGLE

1 Corinthians 2:9

God has prepared things beyond what we can fully imagine.

Your current situation is not powerful enough to cancel God's purpose for your life.

The enemy may see your struggle.

God sees your destiny.

People may see your weakness.

God sees your potential.

People may see where you are.

God sees where He is taking you.

Therefore, don't judge your future by your present circumstances.

The God who has brought you this far is not finished with you.

There are still doors He can open.

There are still battles He can win.

There are still prayers He can answer.

There are still testimonies He can produce.

There are still reasons for you to say:

“Lord, You make me wonder!”

CONCLUSION

One day, the children of Israel stood beside the Red Sea and wondered how they would escape.

But God opened the sea.

David stood before Goliath, and people wondered how a young shepherd could win.

But God gave him victory.

The disciples looked at five loaves and two fish and wondered how thousands could eat.

Jesus multiplied the food.

The tomb looked like the final chapter for Lazarus.

But Jesus called him out.

That is our God.

He specializes in making people wonder.

When God finishes what He has started in your life, people will ask:

“How did this happen?”

And you will answer:

“It was the Lord.”

When they ask how you survived, say:

“It was the Lord.”

When they ask how the door opened, say:

“It was the Lord.”

When they ask how you overcame, say:

“It was the Lord.”

May your life become a testimony of God's goodness.

May your story become a demonstration of His power.

May your testimony be so great that you will lift your hands and say:

“LORD, YOU MAKE ME WONDER!”

Psalm 126:3

“The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.”

FOUR SHORT PRAYER POINTS

Lord, surprise me with Your goodness and mercy.

Father, turn every impossible situation in my life into a testimony.

Lord, preserve me from every danger I cannot see.

Father, let my life become a testimony that makes people glorify You.

Declaration

I will not end in shame.I will not end in defeat.I will not end in disappointment.The God who started with me will finish with me.My story will change.My testimony will come.My life will make people wonder.And I will give all the glory to God.In Jesus' mighty name, Amen!

Title: Trusting God in Difficult Times
Main Bible Text: Proverbs:5–6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."

Introduction
Life is not always easy. Everyone faces difficult times. We may experience sickness, financial problems, family troubles, disappointment, loss, or delay. During these times, we may feel afraid or wonder if God has forgotten us.
But the Bible teaches us to trust God even when we do not understand what is happening. God is always faithful. He knows the end from the beginning, and He never abandons His children.

What Does It Mean to Trust God?
To trust God means:
1, Believing that God is good.
2, Believing that God keeps His promises.
3, Depending on God instead of fear.
4, Continuing to pray and obey Him, even when things are difficult.

Biblical Examples
1. Job Trusted God Through Suffering
Job lost his children, wealth, and health. Everything seemed to go wrong. Yet he did not stop trusting God.
Job said, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him." (Job 13:15)
In the end, God restored everything Job had lost and blessed him even more.
Lesson: Difficult times do not mean God has left you. Keep trusting Him.

2. Joseph Trusted God Through Trials
Joseph was hated by his brothers, sold as a slave, falsely accused, and sent to prison.
Even in prison, Joseph remained faithful to God. At the right time, God lifted him and made him a ruler in Egypt.
Joseph later said, "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good." (Genesis 50:20)
Lesson: God can turn your pain into your testimony.

3. Daniel Trusted God in the Lions' Den
Daniel continued praying to God even when it became illegal.
He was thrown into the lions' den, but God shut the mouths of the lions and protected him.
Lesson: When you trust God, He is able to protect and deliver you.

4. Jesus Trusted the Father
Jesus Christ faced suffering on the cross but trusted His Father completely.
Because of His obedience, God raised Him from the dead, bringing salvation to the world.
Lesson: Trusting God brings victory, even after great suffering.

Why We Should Trust God

1, God is always with us. "I will never leave you nor forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5)
2, God knows what is best for us. "For I know the plans I have for you." (Jeremiah 29:11)
3, God works everything for our good. "In all things God works for the good of those who love Him." (Romans 8:28)
4, God's timing is always perfect.

How to Trust God in Difficult Times

a, Pray every day.
b, Read and meditate on God's Word.
c, Keep praising God.
d, Do not lose hope.
e, Stay faithful and obedient.
d, Be patient and wait on the Lord.

Child of God,
No matter what you are facing today, God has not forgotten you. Your difficult season will not last forever. The same God who helped Job, Joseph, Daniel, and Jesus is able to help you.
Trust Him with all your heart. He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
