For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.

When the Lord rises, everything changes. Throughout Scripture, His rising is a sign of decisive action. When He rises, judgment is released, mercy is poured out, and what once seemed stuck begins to move. He rises when delay can no longer continue. He rises to act on behalf of His people, to favour them so that His glory may be seen in their lives.

At Mount Perazim, the Lord rose suddenly and broke through like a flood. Isaiah calls it His β€œstrange work,” something unexpected that shocked everyone. As God rises, what He does will surprise you. It won’t be subtle or gradual. It’ll be swift, undeniable, and exactly on time.

Every enemy of your progress, whether it’s financial pressure, lingering sickness, closed doors, spiritual resistance, or cycles of delay, is being confronted. What fought you quietly will fall loudly. Nothing can stand in His way.

This verse should be one of the most controversial in Scripture, but it isn’t, because many Christians refuse to accept the glorious possibilities it reveals. Immortality is not only for heaven; it is for now. And the reason is clear: Christ abolished death.

In our Kingdom, death has been abolished. The word is katargéō in Greek, which means it was rendered entirely useless, unemployed, inactive and inoperative.
Death has been stripped of its force, power, and influence. It should never be employed, active, or operative in a Christian’s life. It is illegal!

Dare to walk in the light of this truth. Meditate on it until it becomes part of your knowings, your non-negotiables. Let it transform how you think, speak, and respond to fear, sickness, and limitation. Christ did not manage death. He dismantled it. You are unkillable.

Every morning I lay the pieces of my life on your altar and watch for fire to descend.

Oil fires are among the most dangerous because they’re hard to contain. Once ignited, they burn hotter, spread faster and refuse to be extinguished with ordinary methods. The flames leap from surface to surface, travelling, intensifying and multiplying. This is the picture of a burning prayer life.

When you lay the pieces of your life on God’s altar, fire congeals. Prayer becomes combustible, able to ignite anything it touches. The same β€œdanger” of a natural oil fire becomes your advantage: persistent, uncontainable, fast-moving, and impossible for the enemy to put out.

In this Ember Months, your prayer life will burn. Not the weak, casual kind of prayer that flickers and dies, but the kind that spreads through your home, decisions, finances and assignments. Prayer that pulls every scattered area of your life into one place before God and sets it ablaze.

There’s a realm in God where you no longer pray; you possess! When something becomes yours in the spirit, your language shifts from request to declaration. You don’t beg for what’s already in your hands: you speak as a possessor.

A time will come where need is no longer our focus. As Scripture says, we are β€œself-sufficient.” Our prayers will no longer centred on what we require but on what the Kingdom requires: nations, people, expansion, and advancement. That’s what possession does: it moves prayer to another level entirely.

This year, your prayers are shifting. As you take hold of what Christ has already secured for you, you’ll find yourself speaking less from desire and more from dominion. This is the year you take possession of what’s yours spiritually, financially, physically and prophetically. You shall possess your possessions.

According to Scripture, the old you was crucified with Christ, the β€œyou” shaped by shame, fear, failure and limitation is dead.
Dead men don’t argue with the truth. They don’t complain or contradict what God says. As a Christian, you no longer live by your biology but by the life of Christ. So, as a new creation being, there are things you must never lie to yourself about again.

Never say you’re rejected when you’re accepted in the Beloved. Refuse to call yourself powerless when the Spirit of God lives in you. Never speak lack when all things are yours. Let your words agree with your crucifixion and resurrection.

In the days of old, the presence of God was carried in a physical container, the Ark. When Uzzah reached out to steady it, he was struck dead instantly (2 Samuel 6:1-7). He learned the hard way that trying to do God a favour without His instruction is a dangerous thing. The ark could not be touched any how because God dwelt in it.

Now the presence of God resides in you. You are the ark of God. That means you cannot be touched, handled or approached any how. The most dangerous part of this truth is that you determine what β€œtouch” is acceptable.

Your days of being pushed around, mistreated or handled carelessly are over. God is performing strange work this year, and you are His anointed. You carry His presence. And Heaven enforces what you permit and what you refuse.

Babies cry because they cannot yet speak. They feel hunger, discomfort, fear, or the need for attention, but without words, crying becomes their only form of communication.

Spiritually, Scripture calls this state nepios, a babe in Christ. Nepios Christians respond to problems like infants: crying over pressure, crying over finances, crying over loneliness or responsibilities. The issue isn’t the situation; it’s the lack of spoken Word.

God never instructed us to cry our way through life. He said, β€œTake with you words.” God’s Word carries power, shifts atmospheres, and commands results.

This is not the year to whimper through circumstances. This is the year to speak! Take words into prayer, your day, your body, your finances, your decisions, your future. Build your world with what God has already said.

Aeroplanes are designed to fly, but how high and how far they go depends on what they are carrying. A heavier aircraft climbs more slowly, reaches its best cruising altitude later, and burns more fuel just to cover the same distance. As fuel is burned off and weight decreases, the plane is able to climb higher and move more efficiently.

Your life works the same way. God’s power is present, but unnecessary weight affects how quickly you rise and how far you go. Some weights are habits. Others are relationships, thought patterns, or emotional baggage. You may still move forward, but ascend is slower and effort is greater than it needs to be.

Carrying yesterday’s load will not take you to tomorrow’s level. Decide now that nothing will interfere with what God has prepared for you. Release anything that limits your ascent, and reach the level of the spirit you need to reach by destiny.
