Without God revealing himself to you, there can be no revelation. It is what God reveals to you that becomes an encounter for generational transformation. This is a strategic season to meet with God at GPS 2023 for that particular revelation needed for a change of story.

DAILY ALERT SUNDAY OCTOBER 8TH 2023 “The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.” Proverbs 10:8 KJV

TOPIC: JESUS WEPT

TEXT: Jesus wept. Then said the Jews, Behold how He loved him.” John 11:35-36 KJV

Our topic today is taking from one of the most popular verse in the scripture, not because people can really make sense out of it but because it is considered to be the shortest verse in the Bible. It is also popular because some anti-Christ and unbeliever have used the verse to mock the followers of Christ. They ask: how can God weep? At times they ask us, are you serving a God who shed tears?

Truly our God and Saviour wept in the midst of wailers and for the ignorant and perishing wailers: people who are on the way to penury. Indeed, the Lord wept for and He continues to weep for the anti-Christ and the dying sinners. He loved sinners though He hate sin.

The incidence that made Jesus Christ sorrowful and sad occurred at the tomb of Lazarus, a lover and friend of Jesus Christ who had died four days before. It is generally but wrongfully assumed that Jesus was sorrowful and wept because of the death of Lazarus. No! That is far from the truth. Jesus did not weep because of Lazarus. How could He have wept because of someone who died for the glory of God to be shown? - John 11:3. How could He have wept when He knew that the wailers who surrounded the bereaved family will soon rejoice with the same family? It doesn’t make sense for Jesus to weep for a person He knew had not died but according to Him was sleeping- John 11:11. In John 11: 33&38 the Bibles tell us that Jesus groaned in the spirit and was troubled.

Note that after the Bible recorded that Jesus wept in verse 35, He rebuked Martha in verse 40 saying “Didn’t I tell you that you will see God’s glory if you believe.” This is because Martha protested in verse 39 when she responded to the Lord’s instruction that the stone be taken away. Martha said, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.” What unbelief? Thus, Jesus wept because of people who claim to have been very close to Him but never knew what He can do. Earlier, the Bible records in verse 37 that people had mocked Jesus saying, “could not this man, who opened the eyes of the blind, also kept this man from dying?

Are you still asking: why did Jesus Christ weep? He wept because of the unbelief of friend whom He love so much but never care about Him and their future. He wept because of people who were wailing for Lazarus but never care about their own life and how they will end their sojourning on earth. He wept because of people like Martha in the church today. They heard about Christ testimony and they never knew Him despite their assumed closeness.

Brethren, Jesus is sad and weeping because of His love for the sinners and unrepentant and faithless church attendees. Are you the reason why He weeps?

Oh Lord I pray that I may know you in Jesus name.

ACCESS TO GOD’S SECRETS 2

TEXT : But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God 1 Corinthians 2:10-11KJV

Knowing God’s secret is not a rocket science, God does not hide things for those that love Him. The greatest tragedy however is for anyone to claim he loves God and still does not know His secrets. His secrets are His works and His doings. The word of God gives you His revealed will.

In the Book of Ezekiel, Ezekiel witnessed the heavens open, and saw the throne of God before Him. In Ezekiel 1:28, he said, "As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face."

Following from yesterday’s meditation, the next category of people who have access to God’s secrets are the saints. The saints are those who have confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and personal savior and live in the consciousness of His second coming. Those who have given their lives to holiness and righteousness. Colossians 1:26 says, “the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints”.

In addition, people who enjoys access to God’s secrets are those who are full of the Spirit of God. 1Corinthians 2:10 “For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God”. The Holy Spirits provides the search light to the minds and the heart of God. The light of the spirit must be glowing for those who desire to know the secret of God. Such people are the kings and Jesus Christ is their King. Proverbs 25:2 says “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter”. Alex Seeley, says, "God doesn't give deep mysteries to shallow people”.

Another category of people are praying warriors. These are people who knows how to call God by His names day and night. To pray to God is to believe that He is the giver of all things.

Our faith in prayer is an unfailing key to His mind. Jeremiah 33:3 ‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’

Finally, obedience is one of the keys to unlocking the secrets of God. May the Lord shower the grace for obedience on us. It is worthy of note that those who have access to God’s secret struggle less and do not walk amiss.

PRAYER
I receive the grace for accessibility to God's heart in Jesus name.

TOPIC: ACCESS TO GOD’S SECRETS 1

TEXTS : The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 29:29 KJV

Are you aware that God have secrets? If He does, where is God’s secrets kept and who are those who have access to it and unto whom does the Lord unfolds or reveal His secrets? His secrets are His mysteries and many times they are kept in His minds and in His words. It can only be accessed by some special kinds of people who are close to His heart. Our closeness to the heart of God give us direct access to His mind. In fact, His heart and mind are inseparable from His words. The mind of God is expressed through His words.

The Bible makes us to understand that some people are permitted to understand the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but others are not Matthew 13:11 . Anyone who have access to the secret of God is endowed with the anointing for revelation. Such people can see beyond today. They carry supernatural eyes and ears. God does not permit anything to happen in their domain without their consent.
These are the people who fear the Lord. In *Psalm 25:14* we learns that “The secret of the Lord is for those who fear Him, And He will make them know His covenant.” Great mysteries and secrets of blessings, prosperity, good health, and productive homes are for those who fear the Lord.

The fear of the Lord brings us into subjection to His statutes, laws and precepts. Therefore, the fear the scripture is referring to here is contrary to the one experienced by people at Mount Sinai. Hebrews 12:18-21 . Indeed, we know God instruct us through Paul’s letter to Timothy that “God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, of love and of a sound mind. Of course, we know the fear that the scripture is referring to in the book of Psalm is the fear which propels righteous living. For example, we find some qualifications for receiving revelation of the secret things of God in Proverbs 3:32 , “For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous” and Amos 3:7 thus “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.” His prophets are the men and women who have given their lives to holiness and righteous living.

Like Job, Prophet Isaiah is among the old Testament writer that had the greatest access to the revelations of God and receive plainly from God. Hear him in *Isaiah 45:18-19* ; For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else. I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the Lord speak righteousness, I declare things that are right”. The same God can let His mind be known to you today as He did to Isaiah. What you need is a solid relationship with Him and you will become His mouthpiece.

Oh Lord grant me access into your mind in Jesus name.

DAILY ALERT THURSDAY 5TH OCTOBER 2023 "He who gathers crops in summer is a prudent son, but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son." Proverbs 10:5 NIV

*TOPIC: FLEE PO*******HY 2

TEXTS : I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a young woman. Job 31:1

One important area through which Satan fulfils its tri-dimensional destructive mandate, that is, to steal, kill and destroy is po*******hy.
Po*******hy is a major avenue that Satan shoots his flaming arrows at young people in order to terminate their destiny . It’s also an avenue where the devil destroys families and by extension the whole society. The devil has been so successful in this enterprise so much so that millions of youths have forsaken their faith and have lost touch with their creator. Destinies have not only been stolen but completely destroyed.

Technology has made pornographic material easy to get. It’s available on different social media platforms and unfortunately at a cost not so cheap.

Jesus warned, "You have heard that it was said, 'YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY'; but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Watching pornographic films promotes lust. Lust towards the person you are looking at already crosses the line. The thoughts you have are just as bad as the actions… They may not have the same physical consequences, but spiritually speaking, both the thoughts and the actions compromise purity. "Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: sexual immorality (fornication), impurity, sensuality,"

The main purpose men and women look at po*******hy is because it arouses some kind of sexual desire. It is meant to stimulate the flesh. Sensuality is a work of the flesh that Paul says, if we practice these things (or things like them), we will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Po*******hy is a sin of disobedience. The scripture in Ephesians 5:3 strongly warned, “But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. Po*******hy stains the heart and pollute the mind of the addicts. Therefore, shun it and abstains from its evil desires and pursue righteousness- 2Timothy 2:22.

Other associated social and spiritual injuries and consequences of po*******hy includes but not limited to the following: the problem of unwanted pregnancy and sexual mal-development. It raises the risk of depression and creates distorted expectations which hinder healthy sexual development. Po*******hy increases marital infidelity and its attendant catastrophe- divorce and many more. Read Malachi 2:16.

Thus the word is coming to you directly today and it says “Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry- Col. 3:5- and pursue righteousness. Grace unto you in Jesus name.

PRAYER

DAILY ALERT WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 4TH 2023 "For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth." Romans 10:4 KJV

TOPIC: FLEE PHONOGRAPHY 1

TEXTS : For all that is in the world - the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life - is not from the Father but is from the world." 1 John 2:16

Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word." Psalm 119:37

One of the ways through which the devil has destroyed the destiny of promising but compromising youths, and even men and women today is phonography. With the development and advancement in communication technology po*******hy has become a very lucrative business. The children of the devil is making a lot of wealth from it, while millions of innocent children are falling prey into the satanic trap every day.

In an altar call in one of the churches where I ministered about 8 years ago, over 25 children of below 15 years and about 30 adults out of about 150 congregation confessed of having watched or been addicted to phonographic films. Worrisomely, 80% of the children confessed of having watched it on their parent’s phone, while some parents claimed to watched it in order to arouse themselves sexually. If this is your habit, shun it because you are on your way to penury.

The Bible says no sexually immoral person shall see the Lord 1Corinthians 6:9; Revelation 22:15. In Proverbs 23:26 the Bible says "My son, give me your heart and let your eyes delight in my ways." This verse suggests that there is a strong connection between the eyes and the heart. When God possesses your heart, your eyes are focused on Him. Therefore, your eyes can only delight in phonography when your heart is far away from Him. 1 Corinthians 6:18 exhorts us to "Flee sexual immorality”. It says “Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."

Phonography is a sin which takes authority and dominion over careless believers. Romans 6:14 says for sins shall not have dominion over you for you are not under law, but under grace. This suggest to us that if you don’t have dominion over sin then you are not in God’s grace and are not saved. Anyone who died with sin in his/her life will not inherit eternity. Therefore, say NO to phonography today. The word of God says if sinners entice you do not yield to them Proverbs 1:10. James 4:7 enjoins us to submit to God and resist the devil, and he shall flee from us.

PRAYER
O Lord, supply us the grace to resist every temptation of phonography in Jesus name.

DAILY ALERT TUESDAY OCTOBER 3RD 2023 "For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God" Romans 10:3 KJV

TOPIC: BY THEIR FRUITS

TEXT : "Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth not forth good fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Matthew 7:16-18 KJV

Have you ever noticed that some so-called Christians don’t practice what they preach? When you carefully observe them, you’ll realize that their profession and practice are at continual variance. They profess to read the Bible but fail to obey it. They say they’re followers of`` Christ but they don’t model His life. They say they love God but deny and reject Him by the life they live. They dress like genuine Christian, attend church and even work in the ministry but they have no righteousness of life because their heart is far away from God-Isaiah 29:13; Ezekiel 33:31. These are hypocrites, professing a theoretical knowledge of God while being anti-Christ in practice. Their profession of godliness is all lies and pretense. They “profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate” -Titus 1:16. Their outward claim that they possess knowledge of God is contradicted by their attitude, conduct and way of life.

Beloved, you are not a Christian because of the name you bear or your title. True Christians are known by the fruit they bear-the word they speak, the things they do, and their general lifestyles.

In Matthew 7:16-18, Jesus affirms this when He points out that a good or bad tree is identified by the fruit it bears: “Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit”.

If you call yourself a Christian: a follower of Christ, then you must have an understanding of who you are. You've been called out of darkness into God's marvelous light. No longer should you dabble into or engage in the “unfruitful works of darkness” -Ephesians 5:11. "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid" -Matthew 5:14. Don't just profess to be a Christian, be a model of what is good and pure. Everything about you should point others to Jesus Christ the only way to eternal life.

God has made provision for you to be able to live a godly life -John 2:12. His grace is available and will teach you to resist evil in any form- Titus 2:11. Read Jude 1:24.

Heavenly father, help me so that my life and my speech will always reflect the message I carry.

DAILY ALERT MONDAY OCTOBER 2ND 2023 “For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge” Romans 10:2 NIV

TOPIC: THE BONES WILL RISE AGAIN

TEXT :“And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest. Ezekiel 37:3 KJV

Let Nigerians say to Nigeria by the reason of prophecy and hope with unwavering faith that it shall be well with her. Brethren, do you know that many of us are the spiritual archenemy of our nation. How? The rate at which we utter negative prophecies against Nigeria is unprecedented. We hiss at our nation, spit on our nation and place a curse on her. Read Deuteronomy 23:23

The Bible says in Revelation 12:11a "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony." Positive testimonies and prophetic declarations are the way out of the woods for the country. The battle confronting Nigeria is not the battle of the flesh and blood but the battle of principalities and powers. The battle is principally spiritual. Let everyone who is called by the name of the Lord get enlisted in the army of prayer warriors to fight the enemy of our nation to its knees. Rise as Gatekeepers and proclaim the liberty and deliverance of our nation. Remember, "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." James 5:16

In 2 Chronicles 7:14 the Lord covenanted with His people thus: if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." Declare the healing of our land and stop the lamentations!

From our golden text the Lord in a revelation enter into a dialogue with Ezekiel to show us that nothing is impossible for our God. God took prophet Ezekiel to the valley of dry bones and asked him a question: Can these bones live again? Note that Ezekiel response is capable of determining the destiny of the nation/dry bones. Ezekiel surrender the possibility to God - thou knoweth. This means the power to do it is in your hands.

The same question is directed to us this morning: Can Nigeria be well and rise again? We're not in the days of Ezekiel. This is the Holy spirit era. By experience of history and assurance we know we're endowed with prophetic word and powers that it can be done in the name of Jesus Christ. He says whatsoever you ask in my name shall be given unto you including restoration of Nigeria. If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." Matthew 17:20

Pray and prophesy over Nigeria today that it shall be well with her. We shall see the Nigeria of our dreams. The bones shall rise again.

PRAYER
Declare concerning Nigeria: Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. Isaiah 60:1

WORD COVENANT (GATEKEEPERS DAILY MEDITATION)

DAILY ALERT SUNDAY OCTOBER 1ST 2023 “Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel (NIGERIA) is, that they might be saved.” Romans 10:1 KJV

TOPIC: PITFALLS OF LIBERTY AND FREEDOM 2

TEXT :“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance." Psalms 33:12 KJV

Today is Nigeria’s 63 independence day. This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." Though it is our independence day, it isn't different from any other day that the Lord hath made. We're are celebrating today because the scripture says "So teach us to number our days, That we may apply our hearts unto wisdom." Psalm 90: 12. Congratulations to all Nigerians! Let's celebrate the miracle of survival.

Do you know that liberty and freedom without Christ is not only a mirage but a ruse. The scripture says that if the son shall set you free, you shall be free indeed- John 8:36 . No nation that neglect God stands and enjoy liberty. We have trusted in Horses and Chariots but this is the time to trust in God in order to overcome our daunting challenges. Pray for the grace to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for the peace of our nation.

The Bible says blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord- Psalms 33:12. There's no peace except in the Prince of Peace. Jesus Christ says, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27. Peace is a product of grace and so it can't be manufactured or constitutionally engineered. Intercede that Nigeria will receive Christ as her Lord and Saviour and Pray unto the Lord of peace to grant our nation peace.

Jesus prayed for us at His departure in John chapter 17. His concern is that we may be one with Him and united with God. United we stand and divided we fall. Nigeria has gone in search of other gods and the spirit of hate and disunity have taken over our land. Let the Gatekeepers pray that Nigerians will return to God so that God will return to us. Pray that we may be one irrespective of our ethnic and political affiliations.

PRAYER

Return, O LORD, how long? ... O satisfy us early with thy mercy; That we may rejoice and be glad all our days." Psalm 90:13-17
