The days of fasting and Abstinence are Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.
The law of Fasting binds those who are btwn the ages of twenty one and sixty yrs.
The law of Abstinence binds those who are up to fourteen yrs old.
Nevertheless,all who can fast or abstain on these and other days without any harm to their health or profession may do so.

It is a grave obligation on our conscience,to go to Mass on Sundays and Holy days of obligation.
To come in late,wilfully or through carelessness,when Mass has begun,is at least a venial sin.To miss mass when you cannot help it,or when it would be very difficult for you is not a sin,e.g when you are ill or u are looking after a sick person,or live a long way from the church...May the bless us all in Jesus name.AMEN.
