My Mother, My Model — Mother's Day Celebration 2026
Message: Rev. Mrs. Precious Tobechukwu Menewe
Text: 1st Samuel 25:18–24

Today we looked at one of the Bible's most remarkable women — Abigail — a woman who, despite not being married to the right person, managed her home with extraordinary wisdom, grace, and godly character.

✨ Today's message calls all mothers to be:

📖 A Mother of Humility
True greatness in the home begins with a humble heart. Like Abigail, a godly mother does not let pride drive her decisions.

📖 A Mother of Consciousness & Good Speech
A mother must be mindful of her words. The right words spoken at the right time can change the entire atmosphere of a home.

📖 A Mother of Good Advice
Godly mothers are a fountain of wisdom for their families. Your counsel can redirect destinies!

📖 A Mother of Sensitivity (1 Samuel 25:19)
Abigail was sensitive to the moment and acted swiftly. A godly mother reads the room and responds with discernment.

📖 A Mother of Induction
A godly mother introduces her family to the right paths, values, and principles that shape their future.

📖 A Mother Who Watches Over the Home
She is alert, intentional, and actively covers the affairs of her household in prayer and wisdom.

📖 A Mother of Hospitality
A godly home is an open and welcoming one. Abigail's generosity saved lives — and so can yours!

📖 A Mother Who Is a Good Counsellor
Like Abigail who spoke wisely to David, a godly mother has the ability to calm storms and bring peace through sound counsel.

💬 Declaration for Today: "I am not just a mother by title — I am a mother of wisdom, humility, sensitivity, and grace. My home is blessed because God lives in it!"
