MESSAGE:-Why Christianity Is Losing Value. TEXT:-Mark 11:15-17. Breathren,worldwide statistics indicates that christianity(the Church) is in a very big mess right now to the extent that as I speak with you:-A very large number of Christians are converting from Christianity to other religions (2)The number of people who stop going to church has increased tremendously (3)Most Christians who still go to church do so based on "am not going to church because of the pastor,but,God" (4)Almost 96.4% of sinners-the very people we are supposed to win to Christ,now see church as business, therefore,to them,this whole issue of church, Christ,hell fire etc,is all fraud.Can we honestly blame them for seeing church as business when especially in our country Nigeria,churches are in more numbers than residential buildings?Just in 1 street not road,you will see like 20 churches,and you say its not business?I can still remember growing up as a child,when you see a church sign post, either you see a photo of our Lord Jesus Christ or an Angel,but,today what do we see?Either the face of the founder or that of him and the wife, and you say its not business?(Let me state here with authority as a man who has studied the bible 8 times,though am still learning,"if God calls a man,it does not concern the wife,this new trend whereby a man of God will die and the wife takes over is not scriptural"-this papa& mama thing is totally wrong.That's why when Christ called His disciples,they left their wives out,check Matthew 8:14-15,you will see that Apostle Peter,like the other Apostles remained married men,but,left their wives behind, because they understood that church is not a FAMILY BUSINESS. Can we really sincerely convince sinners that church is not business when most men of God 've jets whereas their members are hungry?For God's sake,why should a man of God use monies collected from members to open a school,mean while,the children of the members who contributed the monies cannot attend the schools,because the fees are too high?Do you know that in Africa the no.1 religion is not Christianity, despite our plenty churches?We are not no.1because most men of God(though few are trying,like Prophet T.B.Joshua) see church money as their family wealth,instead of using it to help the poor/needy in their churches-Acts 4:32-35.Conclusively,fellow believer,I hope you understand that am not judging(if its judging am not qualified,judgement belongs to God),am just criticzing,am just saying the truth-the bible never says we can't criticize,God only says we should not judge.Please forward this message to every pastor you know,don't delay,because CHRISTIANITY IS LOSING VALUE.God bless all genuine men of God for the great work they are doing for Christ,in Jesus Christ name amen.
