*TEXT: Isaiah 12:3*
_*Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.*_

*NOTE*
*Many people don't know the mystery of joy and how important is the shout of joy in the life of a believe as far the kingdom is concern.*

*In the natural world, joy comes when you acquire something but in the kingdom, joy is our spiritual currency is accessing and getting anything from our father God.*

*In our text, we saw that joy is a fetcher by which we draw waters, miracle and breakthrough from the wells of salvation. Everything you will ever need to make life beautiful for is wrapped up in salvation and to draw in this well, joy is inevitable.*

*You already have the spirit of joy as a fruit in your life when you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. All you need to do is to express it in the face of every challenges and you will see the many blessings you have fetched .*

*Luke 6:23*
*Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven:*

*Two days from today, 2023 will be wrapped up and you may be feeling that life isn't fair at all because you couldn't achieve all you ever desired but relax, you can get all you ever desired if you can just engage the spirit of joy.*

*Joy is a fetcher therefore rejoice and fetch miracles from the well of salvation in Jesus name*

*TOPIC: OUR SHOUT FOR JOY*

*TEXT: Job 38:7*
_*When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?*_

*NOTE*
*In the climax of Job's trouble God spoke what will truly happen when Jesus will be finally given birth to. God said, "the morning stars ( the angels ) will sing and the sons of God will shout for joy".*

*This came to pass when the angels announced the birth of Jesus to the wise-men from the east. It was a moment of joy and happiness* .

*Luke 2:13-14*
*And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,*

*14. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men* .

*More to just seeing the morning stars singing, mankind will shout for joy because He who will redeemed them from the curse of the law has finally come. This is what we call CHRISTMAS!!!*

*Luke 2:30-32*
*For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,*

*31. Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;*

*32. A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.*

*The greatest shout of joy for this eternal plan of salvation for mankind will be done by the SONS OF GOD. It is at the point you gave your life to Jesus you will understand how important the birth of Jesus is. He came to lighten up our lives and made us SONS OF GOD... Hallelujah!!*

*And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.*

*Our greatest shout of joy as sons of God is the shout of ABBA FATHER... Glory to God forevermore.*

*TOPIC: IT'S ANOTHER CHRISTMAS DAY*

*TEXT: Luke 2:11,14*
_*For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.*_

_*14. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.*_

*NOTE*
*It's another Christmas day even though Christmas has been one event that is mostly celebrated ignorantly by many people across the world, it's reason and importance can not be throw aside like one piece of trash.*

*As people of God, we must look beyond the wild celebration that men has turned Christmas into and focus on why Jesus was born. Jesus was not born so we could eat and drink to our stupor or wreck our lives with what I called "unthinkable sins."*

*The book of Matthew gave us a vivid reason to why Jesus was born. "To save His people from their sins* .

*Matthew 1:21*
*And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.*

*If the reason for Jesus birth is to save men from their sin, then it will be eternally wrong to celebrate Christmas in sin or with the motion of sin.*

*My candid question to you today is, "have you receive the Christ who was born for your salvation and redemption? If not why not today?*

*And if you are a Christian already, celebrating Christmas should be done beyond mere eating and drinking but with attitude of winning the lost back to God because the essence of Jesus birth was for the salvation of men.*

*May the blessing that this season carries becomes your portion this day in Jesus Mighty Name.*

*TOPIC: THE NEED FOR PRAYING ELDERS!*

*TEXT: James 5:14*
*Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:*

*NOTE*
If you carefully read the text above, you will discover and agree with me that sicknesses and diseases are not common experiences among believers in the early church days. It was a big surprise in the church then to see anyone complaining of sickness because they live in the reality that Christ has bare all our sicknesses and nailed them to His cross.

Isaiah 53:4
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But today, the church is almost loosing their grip of the reality of healthy life of no sickness that our ancestors lift for us because we tend to believe more on science than the Great One who took away our sins and infirmities. I pray we come back to the consciousness of what God has made provision for in our lives.... Good health and prosperity...

The word 'IF' in our text indicates that it's not our custom or culture to be sick but should in case anyone is sick, let him call for the praying elders in the church and let them pray over him...... What an advice from James the half brother of our Lord Jesus Christ. "Call for elders to pray over the sick fellow"

The elders are not there to prescribe drugs for the sick brother or even search for the nearby hospital where they will carry the sick fellow to. "Let them pray over the sick was the admonition given to the elders.

How we long to see men and women who will sit in the office of PRAYING ELDERS to trapped down God's healing power for the sick ones in the church today ....

Acts 28:8
And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him.

We need more praying elders in the body of Christ who with the power of God in their lives can bring healing to sicknesses and cure to a deadly bloody flux just like Elijah will bring cure to Naaman's leprosy. We seek for elders who will bring deliverance to the oppressed and life to the dying ones just like Apostle Paul will being healing and life to the father Publius.

To become an elder with power bringing solutions to man's problem, you must have a track record of a personal prayer relationship with Jesus and secondly, you must have basics knowledge of redemption Christ procured for us through His substitutionary life on the cross for us.

Galatians 3:13-14
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

14. That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

May God make you an elder of power bringing solutions to humans pains and struggles in Jesus name.... Praying elders are needed in our days!

*TOPIC: THE NOW DISPENSATION*
*( Persecution then and now )*

*TEXT: Galatians 4:29*
*But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.*

*NOTE*
That you're born again doesn't mean you won't pass through trials, challenges and at most be persecuted. Many Christians have made a shipwreck of their lives and some has even committed su***de because they couldn't handle or manage certain negative pressure that confronted them.

The reason for backsliding and sometime commiting su***de is because most preachers refused to present the whole truth to their followers. Imagine a pastor telling his congregation that if you are born again that is the end of poverty, pain and disappointment...

Wow! That sounds nice but that is not true. Paul the apostle said that just as in other dispensation "where those who are born of the flesh persecuted those born of the Spirit, even so it is Now!!!"

In another scripture we saw apostle Paul addressing young Timothy that "those who will live godly in Christ, shall suffer persecution....

2 Timothy 3:12
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

People will hate you because you chose Christ just as they hated followers of God in the Dispensation past. In fact Jesus our Lord and Master said this, if they have persecuted Me, they will persecute you also.

John 15:20
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you;

What should be our attitude when we are face with temptation, trials, hates from men, persecution and insults from our society? Jesus again told us how to behave..... He said Rejoice!!!!

Matthew 5:11-12
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12. REJOICE, AND BE EXCEEDING GLAD: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Why should I rejoice and be glad in the heat of persecution and troubles? Jesus again said, for great is your reward..... No matter the trials and negative pressure confronting you, be rest assured that it will end in praise and in blessing for you.

Don't back off from Christ because of the challenges of life. Don't kill yourself because of the insults from men. Don't imprison you ideas because of the wickedness of our political leader who are making lives difficult for the masses. In the process of time, God will lift you and make you a diadem of glory for the world to see....

May God help you remain faithful to Christ in Jesus name

* Dear Lord, help me with your grace to be unmoved when persecuted in Jesus name.

* Oh my Father, turn this present challenge confronting me into testimony now in Jesus Mighty Name

* Oh Lord, cause me to rejoice and let no man take my joy from me in Jesus name.
