MINISTERS FIRE CONFERENCE 2026
DAY 2, 22ND OF MAY

Speaker: Rev Bartholomew Aboi

Topic: Church Growth
Text: Act 2:46

The message on Church Growth emphasized that true church growth is both spiritual and numerical. It is God’s desire for His church to expand, influence lives, and bring more souls into His kingdom.

The preacher explained that growth begins when the church remains committed to prayer, holiness, evangelism, sound teaching of the Word, and genuine love among believers.

It was highlighted that church growth is not only the responsibility of the pastor, but of every member of the congregation. Every believer has a role to play in soul winning, discipleship, service, and supporting the vision of the ministry

The early church in the book of Acts was used as an example of a growing church because they continued steadfastly in prayer, fellowship, unity, and the preaching of the gospel.

The message also stressed that a growing church must be spiritually alive, filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, and focused on meeting both the spiritual and practical needs of people. Faithfulness, consistency, leadership with vision, and caring for new converts were identified as important keys to sustainable growth.

MINISTER FIRE CONFERENCE 2026

Speaker: Rev Dr Amb R.O Itotoh

Topic: The Minister and Dried Ministry
Text: I kings 17:1- 16, Mark 16:17

At the beginning of the chapter, Elijah boldly declared before King Ahab that there would be no rain except by the word of the Lord. This demonstrates the courage and authority a true minister carries when walking in alignment with God. Genuine ministry is sustained by intimacy with God and confidence in His word, not by public approval or worldly systems.

After the declaration, God instructed Elijah to hide by the brook Cherith where he would be fed by ravens. Even in isolation, God preserved His servant. This teaches ministers that God can sustain His work and servants in hidden places

Seasons of separation are often seasons of preparation. Ministers must learn to trust God completely even when resources seem limited.
When the brook dried up, God directed Elijah to a widow in Zarephath. Interestingly, the widow herself was in lack and preparing her last meal before expecting death. Yet through obedience and faith, both the prophet and the widow experienced supernatural supply. The little flour and oil never ran dry throughout the famine.
This passage reminds ministers that:

God remains the source of ministry sustenance.

Obedience is the key to divine direction.

Faith operates even in dry seasons.

God can use unlikely vessels to support His work.

A minister must remain sensitive to divine instructions despite changing circumstances.

The teaching of District Superintendent reminder that ministry without dependence on God becomes dry and powerless. Just as Elijah survived through divine provision, ministers today must continually seek fresh fire, spiritual sensitivity, and unwavering faith in God’s ability to sustain His servants in difficult times.

The conference calls ministers back to:
Prayer and intimacy with God

Absolute obedience to divine instructions

Faith during seasons of scarcity

Dependence on the Holy Spirit

Endurance in ministry despite challenges

As God sustained Elijah, He will sustain every faithful minister who remains committed to His calling.

MINISTERS FIRE CONFERENCE 2026
DAY 1, 21st of May

Speaker: Pst Mrs Praise Itotoh(Big mummy)

Topic: Anointing without Character
Text: 1 Corinthians 14:2, 1 Timothy 3:2, ll Timothy 2:24

The message on “Anointing Without Character” emphasized that spiritual gifts, power, and divine calling are not substitutes for godly character. While the anointing can open doors and attract people, it is character that sustains ministry and preserves destiny.

The preacher explained that many people desire the power of God but neglect the process of becoming like Christ. True ministry is not only measured by miracles, revelations, or public influence, but also by integrity, humility, holiness, faithfulness, and obedience to God. A person may be highly gifted and still fall if character is lacking.
Using biblical example such as Samson.

The message highlighted how great anointing without discipline and godly character can lead to destruction, shame, and loss of divine purpose. On the other hand, leaders like Joseph and Daniel were remembered not only for grace upon their lives but for their consistency in righteousness and integrity.

The ministers were reminded that character is built in secret places — through prayer, submission, accountability, honesty, and daily obedience to God’s Word. The anointing may draw applause from men, but character earns the trust of God.
The message concluded with a charge to ministers and believers to pursue both power and purity. God is not only looking for gifted vessels but clean vessels He can continually use for His glory.

MINISTER FIRE CONFERENCE 2026
Speaker: Rev Chris Okhae(Dis.Sec)

Topic: Focus on your Ministerial place of Assignment
Text: Ephesians 4:11, II Corinthians 4:2

The message emphasized the importance of every minister remaining focused, committed, and faithful to the specific assignment God has entrusted into their hands. In ministry, distractions, comparisons, competition, and the desire to imitate others can easily pull ministers away from their divine purpose. However, God expects every servant to labor diligently within the grace, calling, and territory assigned to them.
The preacher highlighted that effectiveness in ministry is not measured by popularity or size, but by obedience to God’s direction and faithfulness in one’s assignment. Just as different parts of the body have unique functions, every minister has a distinct role in the body of Christ. When ministers stay focused on their God-given mandate, they become fruitful, impactful, and fulfilled.
The message also stressed the dangers of abandoning one’s place of assignment through discouragement, offense, impatience, or the pursuit of personal ambition. Ministers were encouraged to remain steadfast, prayerful, and sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit, trusting God’s timing and process.
Furthermore, the congregation was reminded that divine grace flows where God has positioned His servants. Therefore, ministers must avoid unnecessary distractions and remain dedicated to soul winning, discipleship, service, and the advancement of God’s kingdom in their assigned field.
In conclusion, the message charged every minister to rediscover their purpose, renew their commitment, and remain focused on their ministerial assignment with perseverance, humility, and unwavering faithfulness, knowing that God rewards those who faithfully serve in their appointed place.

MINISTER FIRE CONFERENCE 2026
DAY 1, 21st of May
Speaker: Rev ThankGod Obaholo
Topic: Power Leakage
Text: judges 16:20

Power leakage refers to the gradual loss of spiritual strength, fire, and effectiveness in the life of a minister or believer. During the message, it was emphasized that God releases power for impact, service, and kingdom advancement, but carelessness, sin, prayerlessness, compromise, disobedience, and lack of intimacy with God can cause that power to diminish.
The preacher highlighted that many ministers begin with great fire and zeal but gradually lose spiritual capacity because they neglect the altar of prayer, the study of the Word, holiness, and consecration. Just as a leaking vessel cannot retain water, a careless spiritual life cannot sustain divine power.
The conference message called ministers back to consistent fellowship with God, purity, humility, obedience, and spiritual discipline. It stressed that maintaining God’s power requires daily renewal through prayer, fasting, worship, and total dependence on the Holy Spirit. The message also encouraged ministers to guard their hearts against pride, distractions, offense, immorality, and worldly influences that weaken spiritual authority.
In conclusion, the message served as a wake-up call for ministers to identify and seal every area of leakage in their lives so they can remain effective vessels, burning continually for God and fulfilling their divine assignment with power and integrity.

Today, we celebrate and honor the priceless gift of mothers — women of strength, grace, wisdom, and unconditional love. Mothers are God’s instruments of care, nurturing, and guidance in the home, the church, and society.

The Bible says in Proverbs 31:28, “Her children arise up, and call her blessed.” Indeed, today we rise to call our mothers blessed and to thank God for the wonderful role they play in our lives.
Happy Mother's Day to all our beautiful and wonderful mummies
