8 Tips On Raising Godly Children In A Changing World
This 21st century is definitely a changing world and parenting has to be intentional. Now when it comes to raising Godly children it takes careful consideration especially as it will not just happen. Spiritual Parenting is about your role as a spiritually-minded parent; the God-given role that is yours alone.
marriage or parenting. / Godly children
1. Children should be taught to be confident in themselves:
Every child is unique and should be taught so. They are all different with inherent values, talents, and skills. Avoid comparisons between children and harsh criticism. Thereby teaching them that God loves them and so so you.
2. Teach them to value others:
As they come to realize that they are unique, they should also learn to respect and value others irrespective of their status in life. Let them know that they are privileged. Additionally, teach them that with those privileges come responsibility and the need to be respectful.
3. Teach them that they are called to lead and not to follow:
Teach them that it is okay to say NO and to be different. They should be trained to be confident with leadership. They should stand for what they believe in. As parents, we should ensure that what they believe in mirrors the principles of HONESTY and INTEGRITY. Teach them that true leaders also serve people.
4. Set boundaries very early in their lives:
Children’s liberty should be increased on the basis of their sense of responsibility. Appropriate rewards for exemplary responsibility will also encourage a child. A child who gets everything he or she wants will tend to grow up with a negative sense of entitlement. Teach them to have and set boundaries. Setting up a strict bedtime routine is one such example that needs to be followed without fail. Go through this Sleep Blog to find healthy sleep tips for your child. They should be taught to trust God who provides and pray for their needs.

GOD’S FORMULA FOR SUCCESS IN LIFE (IV): WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE & UNDERSTANDING

A lot of people fail because of the lack of knowledge; even the Bible says in Hosea 4: 6 – “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I also will forget thy children.”

Knowledge means comprehension. There is no point doing something you don’t have knowledge of; it will only lead to frustration. To succeed in anything, one needs to go acquire knowledge of it; gaining knowledge is gaining power! The more knowledge you have, the more strength you possess to overcome the hurdle before you. Knowledge helps you think global instead of local!

Wisdom means common sense or good judgment. It is the application and putting into practice of the knowledge acquired.

Understanding is being responsive; reacting and responding according to the situation or scenario.

Prov. 24: 3 – “Through wisdom is a house build; and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge are the chambers filled with all precious and pleasant riches.”

Through wisdom, a house is built; success is achieved! It is through intelligence, common sense, foresight, hindsight, sympathy, empathy, shrewdness, tolerance, sensitivity; through gathering of facts, education, awareness that success is achieved in anything in life!

Daniel 5: 12 – “Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and showing of dark sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel…”

Daniel had all three qualities and this made him stand out amongst his equals; and in this age and time, they are what will distinguish anyone who seeks them!

These three are all encompassed in the word “revelation”. Revelation is a combination of wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Revelation involves enlightenment, increase in and communication of knowledge, disclosure and encouragement of moral and intellectual improvement!

Prov. 18: 15 – “The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.” We need to seek revelation and knowledge! We can make a difference in what we do only if we catch the revelation on how we should do it!

I Chron. 12: 32 – “And of the children of Issachar, men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.”

If we walk in divine understanding, everyone else will be at our command. The children of Issachar had this understanding and knew what to do, and this kept them in charge!

Back to our main story of Joshua, in chapter 5 he encountered an angel – the prince of the host of God – and Joshua fell on his feet, asking what he should do. Joshua was a man seeking revelation and knowledge on what must be done about the walls-of-Jericho situation they were facing; just as we must seek knowledge and revelation on how we should run our businesses differently, where we should put our talent and skill to use that will make us stand out, what knowledge we should acquire that will be relevant to our generation, etc.

God gave Joshua everything he needed to succeed in that battle with Jericho. Everything we need is with God; He’s the only One that can give us that one thing that will differentiate us and make us break forth and stand out!

Only divine revelation makes you necessary! Only wisdom, understanding and knowledge make you a game-changer and a problem-solver.

Joshua had knowledge of the place he was going, he had details about Jericho and how to apply what he knew; and because of this, the walls of Jericho fell down flat! It is possible to succeed, to overcome the walls of Jericho of your life; if you will seek knowledge! There is human and godly knowledge; good human knowledge is necessary to seek and acquire, but godly knowledge gives us advantage as children of God over those who have only human wisdom and knowledge. We must tap into godly wisdom, understanding and knowledge for our own good!

THE PURPOSE OF OUR LIVES IS TO BE HAPPY

05/08/2018

The payoff, recompense, reward and the wages of SIN is DEATH, either now or sooner. please repent now and escape eternal DEATH and DAMNATION.
Don't allow that boy/girl to ruin your life and your soul,
mind you, that individual was not there when you were given birth to,and so they know little or absolutely nothing of where your soul will go to after DEATH.
The lord is saying:
Please come out from among them and be separate,
Come out from sin and run to the saviour,
Come out from darkness and embrace saintliness.
Christ is the only way, please turn from that way you are going, that way of sin and unrighteousness, that way of immorality and occultism. boyfriendnism and girlfriendnism.
Only in Jesus you can find life.
Come unto Jesus Christ ,and don't despise him, else a day will come when you will look for him ,when you will search earnestly desiring to have him crying and pleading to be saved but you can "never" find him.
The people who lived the same way you are living (in sin) are now lamenting and regretting in eternal suffering in hell, but no return and no second chance for them.
But ThankGod you still have the chance to repent and return to Christ .
Stop down-playing your soul,to pleas your depraved and carnal flesh.
Just think about it,after death here on earth, your closest siblings and friends will be there watching your body been lowered to the grave, and by that time you should have been far gone into an endless eternity,so why allow them to deceive you ,please be decisive and do it now.
BECAUSE:
If you DIE in SIN, you will cry and nobody can be able to save you.
You will wail and your friends can not help.
You will be in eternity all alone nobody to console and comfort.
Your friends may still be alive and are already learning how to live without you, while not rethink.
"I came alone and will go alone ,why making fun of my soul"
Please rethink.
wages of sin is death and the gift of God is righteousness.
Still in my father's house and it touches me to drop this one here for a DIVINE reason, please utilize this opportunity and be blessed.
AMEN.

Topic:PERFECT PEACE FOR TRUTH AND TRANSFORMED DISCIPLES.
Text: JOHN 14:27
B/R: Ezra 3&4
GHS: 237
Minister: Pastor W.F Kumuyi LIVE FROM AJEGUNLE.
The passage of our text is reminding us of the session how Jesus wanted to blessed his children and also give them heavenly blessing. He helped them outside the kingdom (Luke 19:41,43). It was a sorrowful thing that this people who were to receive great blessing from Jesus Christ, are the same people who rejected him. He was a prince of peace. Jesus Christ wanted to bless them with heavenly blessing because, they don't know the time of his visit. The people who are listening to him now were the true , transformed disciples. The world has rejected the beast, but Christ came unto them "Peace I have with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you, let not your heart be troubled, neither let it b afraid".
POINT (1)
THE PARTAKER OF HIS PEACE THROUGH HIS WORD.
John 14:27; Ephesians 2:12-15; Romans 5:1; 2Corinthians 5:18-20; Psalms 85:8; Isaiah 26:13; Roans 14:17; Colossians 3:15-17; Philippians 4:6-8.
The Lord is saying, He has given you the peace and in the new and the old testament. The peace that come from God. There are three things about God given peace:
- Peace With God (Ephesians 2:12-15). Jesus Christ the giver of peace, and the fountain of peace. As we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and as we turn away from our sinful ways " for he his our peace" as salvation, peace come (Romans 5:1,5). There is peace with God because we are justify by his peace. The reconciliation that brought about the peace (2Corinthins 5:18). He has reconcile us to himself, we are no more enemy of God who has reconcile us to his Father and to himself.
He has reconcile us to his kingdom, for we are ambassador (2Corinthians 5:20).
- The Peace Of God (Psalms 85:8). The peace that the world can not take away from us. The peace that keep us going. Christ is speaking peace to our heart and to his people. Peace come because we accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and his grace come into our life. We must not return to the foolishness (Isaiah 26:2-4). As we come to the Lord, he make us righteous. When you keep on trusting on him.
- The God of Peace (Philippians 4:7,9). The reason for the peace of God is to feel your heart and your soul. It coming from the peace of God and when you have a submission, you will have...
• Salvation through Christ.
• Submission in Christ.
• Sanctification in Christ.
All these peace of God passes all kinds of understanding for your thought affect the state of mind. When you think of those things that are true and just, you'll have (peace of mind). What God of peace does (1Thessalonians 5:22). The people who cherished the God of peace, they have peace of mind. Sanctification by the God of peace (Hebrews 13:20), the God of peace make you perfect in every good work.
POINT (2)
THE PEOPLE WITHOUT HIS PEACE OF WORTHINESS.
John 14:27; Romans 3:15-17; Isaiah 48:20-22; Psalms 57:20,21; Revelation 6:4, 15; James 3:13-17; James 4:1-4; 1Corinthians 1:20,21; Lamentation 1:5,6,8,9.
The people outside the kingdom (world), the people that have rejected his kingdom. Those people ,they do not have his worthiness.
- No peace for the wicked (Romans 3:17).
Who are this people that the way of peace they have not know? They are the people that have not receive Jesus Christ. The way of righteousness, the high way of holiness, they have all gone away. Those people do not have the peace of God because, they have not surrender their life to the Lord Jesus Christ. It's because they are not save (Isaiah 48:20-22). Why is he saving the people and he is showing them the way of making righteousness. It's because the people do not understand that the peace of God has come (Isaiah 57:20,21). There is no peace from them outside this world.
- No Peace For The Worldly Wise (James 3:13,14). They have no Godly wisdom. Those are the people who know the proverbs of the world by they do not know the commandments of the world. When you have the wisdom of God, you have to live a righteous life and the simplicity.
- No Peace For Wanting Worshippers (Jeremiah 8:11,15,20). There are people they are lacking wisdom because, it is the way of their believe, all they are thinking about is the word. There are people who act but they do not remembered their last end. The wises thing to do is to accept Jesus Christ and accept the salvation of the Lord and the peace of God will sanctified you, holy until the end (Revelation 14:10,11) and living day by day according to the commandments of the Lord.
POINT (3)
HIS POWER OVER THE PRINCE OF THIS WORLD.
John 14:30,31; Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 7:26; 1 Peter 1:19; 1John 3:5-9; 1John 5:18; John 1:231; John 16:11; 1John 4:4; Revelation 20:2,3.
In John 14:30 "Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me". Christ has the power over the prince of this world.
- The Absolute sinless Of Christ (John 14:30; Hebrews 7:26. Jesus Christ having no sin, and have
- The Absolute Supremacy Of Christ (John 4:34; John 5:30; John 6:38; John 8:8)
- His Absolute Submission Unto God (John 14:27) nothing in me(1Peter 1:19). His absolute supremacy over Satan (John 14:30). He's talking about Satan because he has absolute supremacy over the devi (John 12:31). The verse is reminding us of the rapture, the coming of the Lord and he is establishing his kingdom. How did Jesus hath the absolute sinless and absolute supremacy unto God (John 4:34).
- His Absolute Submission Unto God (John 4:34). He central thing in the heart of Christ, He follows His Father's will " To do the will of him that send me" always submission to the Father our God. When the grace and the truth of God becomes abundant in your life "you'll do always those things that pleases him". The Lord want to transfer his victory into your life (John 14:27) " Peace I have with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the

8 And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread.
9 And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually.
10 Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither.

13 And he said unto him, Say now unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people.
14 And he said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no child, and her husband is old.
15 And he said, Call her. And when he had called her, she stood in the door.
16 And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid.

MESSAGE
Hospitality is the act of generosity and friendship shown towards strangers, and it includes the responsibility of protecting the interests of those received as guests. God admonishes His children to be hospitable as part of our duty to others and in gratitude for the salvation, favour and mercy we have received from Him (Exodus 22:21). Several passages of Scripture emphasise hospitality as a godly virtue (Romans 12:13, 1 Peter 4:9). Hebrews 13:2 says,
“Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”
Furthermore, the Bible mentions hospitality as one of the preconditions for becoming a leader in the Church (1 Timothy 3:2). Hospitality has played a very important role in the Redeemed Christian of God right from its very beginning. It forms part of our core beliefs and practices. We teach that you don't have to be rich to look after visitors. You can entertain four people with a single orange by slicing into four parts and presenting it nicely on a decent plate with glasses of water. May you receive the true spirit of hospitality today in Jesus' Name.
The Bible admonishes that since we naturally desire to receive hospitality from others, we should show it to others as well. The Lord in Matthew 7:12 says,
“All things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them.”
Even when describing the type of fast that God finds acceptable, the Holy Spirit in Isaiah 58:7a said:
“Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house?”
Deuteronomy 26:12 also speaks about feeding the stranger, the fatherless and the widow. All these verses of scripture show that we are duty-bound as children of God to provide for the needs of these classes of people regularly. More importantly, Jesus clearly teaches that hospitality is going to be a major criterion that will be used to separate the sheep from the goats on the last day (Matthew 25:33-35). This means that it will be practically impossible for anyone to enter heaven without being hospitable. Jesus expects every Christian to love their neighbour as themselves. He expects us to use hospitality as a tool to spread the love of God and the good news of the gospel all over the world. I pray that you will yield yourself as an instrument of spreading God's love everywhere through hospitality in Jesus' Name.
ACTION POINT:
Think of how you can use hospitality to spread the love of God and the message of the gospel in your locality. Draw up a plan and implement it.
