Happy New Year 2026!
“Pay attention to your flock.”
Proverbs 27:23
Be diligent to know the condition of your flocks,
and pay attention to your herds.
As we begin the journey of this brand-new year, 2026, we are grateful for the help of God in the years past and for how faithfully He journeyed with us through 2025.
As we step into this new season, the instruction for the year is clear:
Pay attention to your flock.
Do not be careless with anything God has committed into your hands. Whether you are starting a new business idea, growing an existing one, leading a ministry, building a career, or managing any responsibility—be diligent in the running of everything in and around your life this year.
If God has placed twenty in your care, pay attention to the twenty.
Do not lose any of them through carelessness, neglect, or indifference.
Many people received opportunities in the past that were not properly stewarded, and today they are in drought—not because God failed, but because they failed to pay attention to the flock assigned to them.
Remember the parable of the talents:
The servant who received one talent chose to do nothing with it and was utterly condemned. But the one who received five went to work, made a profit, and gained five more. Nothing delights the Master more than fruitfulness, profit, and wise preparation for the future.
Are you fond of wasting the resources available to you?
Are you part of the “another will come” crew?
If you preserve what you have now, it can sustain you for an entire generation.
Proverbs 27:23–27 (MSG)
Know your sheep by name;
carefully attend to your flocks.
Don’t take them for granted—
possessions don’t last forever.
When the crops are in and the harvest is stored,
you’ll have wool for clothing and goats for income.
There will be plenty of milk and meat
to last your family through the winter.
Finally, remember this:
The year will only be remarkable if you are determined to make it so.
God’s provisions for 2026 have already been deployed and sent ahead, but alignment is required to access heavenly supplies.
Happy New Year 2026 — welcome to your best year yet.
