....One day Allah's Messenger (Pbuh) stood up to deliver sermon at a watering place known as Khumm situated between Mecca and Medina. He praised Allah, extolled Him and delivered the sermon and. exhorted (us) and said: Now to our purpose. O people, I am a human being. I am about to receive a messenger (the angel of death) from my Lord and I, in response to Allah's call, (would bid good-bye to you), but I am leaving among you two weighty things: the one being the Book of Allah in which there is right guidance and light, so hold fast to the Book of Allah and adhere to it. He exhorted (us) (to hold fast) to the Book of Allah and then said: The second are the members of my household I remind you (of your duties) to the members of my family. He (Husain) said to Zaid: Who are the members of his household? Aren't his wives the members of his family? Thereupon he said: His wives are the members of his family (but here) the members of his family are those for whom acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. And he said: Who are they? Thereupon he said: 'Ali and the offspring of 'Ali, 'Aqil and the offspring of 'Aqil and the offspring of Ja'far and the offspring of 'Abbas. Husain said: These are those for whom the acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. Zaid said: Yes.

On the authority of Uqbah ibn Amir , who said: I heard the messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: Your Lord delights at a shepherd who, on the peak of a mountain crag, gives the call to prayer and prays. Then Allah (glorified and exalted be He) say: Look at this servant of Mine, he gives the call to prayer and performs the prayers; he is in awe of Me. I have forgiven My servant [his sins] and have admitted him to Paradise.

Ali bin Abi Talib(RA) said: ``We departed with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) until he was at Harrah As-Suqya which belonged to Sa`d bin Abi Waqqas. So the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: `Bring me water for Wudu' . So he performed Wudu' , then he faced the Qiblah and said: ˜O Allah! Indeed Ibrahim was Your servant and Your Khalil , and he supplicated for blessings for the people of Makkah. And I am Your servant and Messenger, and I supplicate for the people of Al-Madinah; that You bless them in their Mudd and their Saa like You blessed the people of Makkah, for each blessing let there be two blessings.'

The Soul's connection is One. The Truth is One. Wisdom is Light. God is Light within light. Thus, it is definitely One. We cannot see it as Dual or Two. When the murid is there the Shaykh will be within the Murid. When the Shaykh is there, the Grace known as God will be there. They will be in the same place, and they will be One, not two. When you look, you will not be there, only the Shaykh will be there, and then the Shaykh too will not be there, only God will be there. Instead of you, the Shaykh will be there; instead of the Shaykh, God will be there. It is simply One. It is not far. It is not separate. You yourself must understand this if you want to start a spiritual journey or growth.
