WHAT THEIR ACTIONS DESVERSE

It will be erroneous to say that the gospel of Christ has not profited, in terms of wider exposure from social media. But it will also be naïve to say that social media has not created a boulevard for dodgy people to use it, as a means of swindling the innocent or can I say, profiting from the greed of others.

Preaching the word of God free of charge is fast becoming outdated. But can one really blame these so-called smooth operators? Some will hide under the guise that money is the vehicle for helping the gospel. True, but is the money contributed by the faithful, ought to be used for buying Jets, high end clothing, shoes and Jewellery? Expensive cars, flying business class? All in the name of propagating the gospel?

2 Corin 11:13-14
For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ.

QUESTION
Is living the good life bad? Nay! But to live a good life from the proceeds of the faithful is cruel. Gone are the days when Satan and his cronies prowl around with 2 horns on their head, with dragon teeth. In this age, they can appear as a quick fix to a need, like co***ne is to a drug addict. Their modus operandi is always to leave their victims worse off than before encountering them.

A true believer must be mindful of such. However, we thank God for putting us in the know. Prevention is better than cure.

2 Corin 11:14b
Their end will be what their actions deserve.
For the reason above, one must stay compliant to the will of God.

Calvary Greetings Brethren!!!

BE READY FOR THE MASTER’S RETURN.

Just another early morning appetizer to put us in the right spiritual frequency before worship.

From the garden of Eden to this very age that we are living. The same thorn that found its way into the flesh of Adam and Eve remains intact, but with varying degree. The name of this thorn is called forgetfulness. Like a woman, who forgets the pain she went through after given birth to a child. Like a person, who looked at the mirror, and instantly forgot what he/she looked like.
Hmmm. Sufficient grace required.

The Israelites were slaves for over 400 years. That is 20 generations. From 70 hungry people that originally entered Egypt (Gen 46:27) to over 600 thousand liberated people that crossed the Red Sea. It was the Lord at work.

Deut 6:12
Be careful that you do not forget the LORD, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

To forget Jehovah’s goodness is ingratitude. A visit to the hospital or prison, is sufficient reason not to forget God’s goodness. Or can I say, a deep breath in the morning or just food on the table, to eat at our own convenience.

Deut 6:14
Do not follow other gods, the gods of the peoples around you;
There are many gods, but only one God. This God has given us stipulations and decrees to keep and follow for a lifetime. Our life is not our own, but belongs to God. To forget this is to call God a lair.

PRAYER
As we leave our homes and step on the holy ground of our various parishes. May the Holy Spirit continue to enable us to keep the lamp of God within us burning. Keep us ready for service. So that, when the master chooses to return and knock on our door to come in, we shall be found doing the master’s will. Amen IJCMN.

PLOTING AND RAGING

It is not new for people to plan together as a group to do harm against another/others. Plotting against another is as ancient as the people of Israel. The elder brothers of Joseph plotted to destroy the destiny of their younger brother, for OBVIOUS REASONS that were best known to them.

This same DNA was found in the blood streams of the religious leaders, who plotted against our Lord and saviour, to be crucified in the place of a robber. 9 out of 10 plots will be carried out with bad intentions, most likely to silence the truth and to establish falsehood. However, the worst plot that ever happened was not on earth but in heaven, which was inaugurated by Satan.

One way to identify a plot is the rage of its culprits. There will always be a trailblazer to start the plot. And in other to win people, the spirit of rage must be used to showcase the seriousness of the matter in disguise.

Acts 4:25b -26
“‘Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed one.

Why?

No reason waste time on the why. The best remedy can be found in Acts 4:31.

After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

No fear, No shaking.

Just another early morning appetizer to put us in the right spiritual frequency before worship.

In Mosaic Law, an Israelite with Leprosy is not allowed among the general population (Lev 13:46). Such person was inherently deemed unclean and an outcast. Therefore, during famine time in Israel, the men with leprosy in 2 Kings 7, would have found themselves least on the priority list of recipients of food distributions. With hollow appetites, they got up and gave life their best shot. Innocently to them, God has made the wicked run when no one was chasing them. I will call that spiritual illusion created by God.

2 Kings 7:8
The men who had leprosy reached the edge of the camp, entered one of the tents and ate and drank. Then they took silver, gold and clothes, and went off and hid them. They returned and entered another tent and took some things from it and hid them also.

Only God can do what no other can do. He sends the enemy fleeing in terror. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. From have nots, they became rich overnight. This same mindset, a true believer must use when playing their part in Kingdom progression. Paul planted, Apollo watered and God gave growth.

We get out of the box and zoom out.

QUESTION
Which part of the jigsaw are you?

In God’s Kingdom, prioritise time and resources towards kingdom advancement and automatically, one becomes a recipient of the benefits of the Kingdom GROWTH. Christ shall provide the nutrients needed to do the needy and God the Father, will meet all our needs, according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. Not as the world gives, but as his Kingdom gives.

PRAYER
As we leave our homes this morning and step on the holy ground of our various parishes. May all our good deeds towards Kingdom advancement produce and result in credit alerts in our financial and spiritual bank accounts, on earth and in Heaven. Amen IJCMN.

THE OMNIPRESENCE GOD

All things covered shall be revealed. All things hidden, shall be made known. What can be hidden from God. Before Him, all things are laid bare. For this reason, a true believer stays Christ conscious at all times.

Pharaoh was deemed god to his people. His words and commands were final to them. When the Red Sea parted for the Israelites, a wise person will know that something supernatural has occurred and step back in awe. But Pharoah commanded his officers on chariots to enter the Red Sea and pursue the people of God to their demise.

Exodus 14:20b
Throughout the night the cloud brought darkness to the one side and light to the other side; so neither went near the other all night long.

Exodus 15:5
The deep waters have covered them; they sank to the depths like a stone.

QUESTIONS
Who was in the cloud that brought darkness to the Egyptian army?
Who covered the Egyptian armies with deep waters?
Who sank them to the depths like a stone?

Na Jehovah, the omnipresence God, who is everywhere, anytime when his children need him MOST.

May the omnipresent God, continue to meet us at our points of need. Amen IJCMN.

OFFER A PLEASING AROMA

Just another early morning appetizer to put us in the right spiritual frequency b4 worship.

Access to the holy of holies is not based on gender, as long as one comes before God without blemish (imperfection). This means we need Christ Jesus blood to be sprinkled upon the altar and our heads, before we can be acceptable before the Almighty God. I mean very living being. This was done on the cross at Calvary.

Therefore, it makes good sense to abide in the words of Prophets Isaiah and John the Baptist, by preparing the way of the Lord and making his paths straight. Removing all obstacles, prepare morally and spiritually, in expectation to receive something good from Elohim. Offering sacrifice without blemish (Lev 3:1) A living sacrifice, good, acceptable and pleasing in accordance to the will of God (Romans 12:1-2). The kind of sacrifice that emits a good aroma to the nostrils of Jehovah, resulting into answered prayers.

It is not what goes into man that defiles, but what comes from within. No wonder, the early Levites were instructed by God to separate the inner organs of the sacrificial sheep and goats and burn them upon the altar before God.

Lev 3:16
The priest shall burn them on the altar as a food offering, a PLEASING AROMA. All the FAT is the LORD’s.

This kind of sacrificial offering can be applied to the offerings and tithes given to the church this morning.

1 Corin 16:2
On the FIRST DAY of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.

KEYPHRASE: Set aside – meaning prepare to give something beforehand.

Setting aside willingly and cheerfully, what to give to the church without any grudge is also a pleasant aroma before God. Our widow’s mite. A true believer does this good deed by standing firm in faith and love. Knowing that whatever we do for God is not in vain. Whatever we give to God, shall be returned back to us in good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.
