MOMENT OF GRACE WITH PASTOR AJALA OLUWAFEMI
đź“– Matthew 15:8 (ESV)
“These people honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.”
NOT ALL WHO CALL ME LORD ARE BELIEVERS
Beloved, Christianity is not a mere confession of the lips—it is a transformation of the heart. Jesus makes it clear that there are those who speak the right words, sing the right songs, and even appear religious, yet their hearts remain disconnected from Him.
Calling God “Lord” is easy, but living under His Lordship is the true mark of a believer. True faith is not in outward performance, but in inward surrender. It is possible to be around spiritual things and still be far from God.
A genuine believer is known not just by what they say, but by how they live, how they love, and how they obey. God is not impressed by empty words; He seeks hearts that are yielded, sincere, and devoted to Him.
Today, examine your walk with God:
Are you only speaking Him, or are you truly following Him?
🙏 PRAYER POINTS
1. Lord, purify my heart and align it with my confession in Jesus’ name.
2. Father, deliver me from empty religion and draw me into true fellowship with You.
3. Help me, O Lord, to live a life that genuinely reflects my faith in Jesus’ name.
🔥 Grace is speaking—let your heart respond!
