🌹The Divine Preservation of the Unified Ummah

Allah granted two of the three things the Prophet asked for concerning his Ummah and withheld the third.

This is to remind us that disagreements and trials are part of our reality, and as Muslims, we have a responsibility to strive for unity upon the truth and avoid becoming a cause of division.

🪷 Key Lessons:

✓ Differences are among the trials Allah has decreed for this Ummah, so let us not be the cause of division.

✓ Be a source of peace, unity, and reconciliation wherever you find yourself.

✓ Hold firmly to the Qur'an and the Sunnah, for they are the foundation of true unity.

It's another blessed Jumu'ah. Don't miss the opportunity to earn abundant rewards.

Take the first step towards reconciliation, facilitate reconciliation between others, increase in righteous deeds, send abundant salawāt upon the prophet, and don't forget to recite Surah Al-Kahf.

May Allah accept all our acts of worship and unite our hearts upon the truth.

🕌 *Jumu'ah Reminder | MSSN REMO*

🌹AVOIDING DOUBTFUL MATTERS
===============================

As believers, we are encouraged to protect our faith by staying away from doubtful matters and guarding our hearts. We do not have to wait until we fall into sin before becoming cautious.

🪷Takeaways from the Hadith:

✓ If something makes you question whether it pleases Allah, leaving it for His sake is better.

✓ Don't rush to declare things permissible or forbidden. Ask those with knowledge and avoid acting on uncertainty.

✓ Respect Allah's boundaries by staying away from what He has prohibited.

✓ Guard your heart. If the heart is sound, the whole body will be sound and if it's diseased, same happens to the body.

It's another blessed Jumu'ah.

Don't forget to recite Surah Al-Kahf, send abundant blessings upon the Prophet, and strive to earn as many rewards as possible.

May Allah accept all our acts of worship and keep our hearts firm upon His deen.

🪷 REFRAINING FROM SPEAKING DURING THE KHUTBAH
===========================

One of the etiquettes of this noble day is to remain silent and listen attentively throughout the Khutbah.

The Khutbah deserves our full attention. It shouldn't be a time to catch up with our friends, gist, or allow ourselves to be distracted.

Dear brethren, if just telling someone to "listen" is considered idle talk, then how much more unnecessary conversations, scrolling through our phones, replying to messages, and engaging in anything that distracts us while the Imam is delivering the Khutbah?

As we prepare for Jumu'ah today, let us strive to:

🔹 Arrive early and prepare our hearts before the Khutbah begins.

🔹 Listen attentively without speaking or distracting others.

🔹 Put away our phones and avoid anything that diverts our attention.

🔹 Reflect on the sermon and strive to implement its lessons in our daily lives.

And never forget to read Surah Kahf!

May Allah forgive our shortcomings, accept our acts of worship, and never deprive us of the immense rewards of this blessed day.

"And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers." (Q51:55)

🌹 AVOIDING PRAYER WHEN DISTRACTIONS ARE PRESENT
===========================

Prepare both your body and your mind before standing before Allāh, because prayer deserves your best attention.

🎯Key lessons from the Hadith
1. Give prayer your full attention. If you're distracted by hunger or a pressing need to use the restroom, your mind won't be fully present in ṣalāh.
2. Eat first if food is already served. The Prophet ﷺ said that if dinner has been served and the iqāmah for Maghrib is called, begin with the meal. This prevents your thoughts from wandering to the food during prayer.
3. Do not pray while holding back urine or stool. The hadith mentions "the two evil things," referring to the urge to urinate or defecate. Relieving yourself first helps you pray calmly and with dignity.
4. The quality of prayer matters. Islam encourages not just performing the prayer, but performing it well, with sincerity, humility, and focus.

Don’t pray while hungry and you have have been served with the food or while holding in the urge to use the bathroom. That’s the mercy of Islām — worship with ease, not stress.

Let’s make our deen a source of ease. Embrace the Prophetic wisdom.

☪️ Know Your Hijrah Calendar

The Hijrah Calendar commemorates the Prophet’s migration to Madinah.

Twelve lunar months make up one Hijrah calendar year, beginning with Muharram and ending with Dhul-Hijjah.

Allah decreed them from the time of creation – Qur’an 9:36, Surah At-Tawbah.

Prayer upon seeing a new moon:

اللَّهُمَّ أهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالأَمْنِ والإيمَانِ، والسَّلامَةِ والإسْلاَمِ، والتَّوْفِيقِ لِمَا يُحبُّ ربُّنا ويَرْضَى، رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ.

Allāhumma ahillahu 'alaynā bil-amni wal-īmān, was-salāmati wal-islām, wat-tawfīqi limā yuhibbu rabbunā wa-yarḍā, Rabbunā wa Rabbukallāh.

O Allah, let this crescent moon appear to us with security and faith, with safety and Islam, and grant us success in what our Lord loves and is pleased with. Our Lord and your Lord is Allah.

🌹ADAPTING TO THE CAPACITY OF OTHERS
===========================

The Prophet ﷺ showed deep anger when leadership became a burden. A man missed Fajr (dawn prayer) because the imam prolonged it. The Prophet’s ﷺ response was rare in its intensity — showing how serious this matter is. Why? Because Islam makes ease a priority.

🎯Key Lessons from the Hadith
1. Consider others: When leading, be mindful of the weak, elderly, and those with responsibilities. Your action should not push people away from worship.
2. Don't drive people from good: Overburdening others in religion can make them dislike acts of worship. Balance is prophetic.
3. Leadership is service: True leadership means adapting to the capacity of those you serve, not your own.

Let’s make our deen a source of ease. Embrace the Prophetic wisdom.

MSSN REMO 1447 A.H. ILEYA GET-TOGETHER: A SUCCESS! 🕌🎉

Alhamdulillah! The MSSN Remo Area Council Ileya (Eid al-Adha) Get-Together 1447 A.H. was a huge success, bringing together students, families, and community members in the true spirit of Faith, Fun & Brotherhood.

Held on Saturday, 30th May 2026 (13th Dhul-Hijjah, 1447 A.H) at Sagamu Central Mosque, Sagamu, Ogun State, the event featured: friendly football matches, games for all attendees, inspirational lecture and career guidance, Quran & Islamic quiz, Nasheed, spoken word, and prize presentations, gifts, giveaways, and lots of bonding. Overall, delicious food and drinks were shared in a warm Eid atmosphere.

Jazakumullahu khairan to everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, and supported this program. Your presence and contributions made it memorable and impactful.
