PASTOR’S APPRECIATION DAY 2026
GENERAL SUNDAY SERVICE (4/10/26)

Topic: Honour God’s shepherd

Text: 1 Thessalonians 5:12–13

Speaker: Hon. Dickson Ahonsi

It is important to honour your prophet, bishop, counsellor, pastor or spiritual leader, not only by gifts but also by prayer and intercession.

We shouldn’t be ignorant of the welfare of the man of God. God has placed in our midst.

(Matthew 10:40–42 )

Benefits are attached to welcoming and honouring the shepherd of God in your midst:

*God blesses you.

*You share in the spiritual reward of his blessing.

*He intercedes and blesses you.

Ways to Honour Your Pastor

*Supporting your pastor
*Love your pastor
*interceding for him in prayers
