Yesterday, we raised our voices against insecurity, killings, and the continuous attacks on innocent lives in Nigeria.

As directed by the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) in Rivers State, churches came together in peaceful protest to say NO to genocide, NO to bloodshed, and NO to the silence surrounding the suffering of many Christians and innocent Nigerians across the nation.

Nigeria must be a country where people can worship freely, live safely, and sleep without fear. The government and security agencies must take urgent action to end the killings and restore peace, justice, and security across the country.

We stand for peace.
We stand for justice.
We stand for humanity.

On Sunday, we had a powerful discussion on Evangelism — a reminder of our calling as believers.

Evangelism is not about judging people or pointing out their faults. It is about showing love, sharing the good news, and leading people to Christ with compassion. Many times, we are quick to criticize others for their lifestyle, forgetting that we too are recipients of God’s grace.

The Bible in Mark 16 clearly instructs us to go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature. This means that every believer is a minister — not just pastors or church leaders. Wherever we find ourselves — school, work, the street, or even online — we have a responsibility to represent Christ.

Instead of condemning people, we should:
• Speak to them with love
• Share the message of salvation
• Pray for them sincerely
• Be a living example of Christ

Evangelism is not about arguments or forcing beliefs; it is about planting seeds and trusting God for the growth. Your kindness, your words, and your prayers can be the turning point in someone’s life.

Let us remember: we are all called, we are all sent, and we are all ministers of reconciliation.
