Read carefully and slowly to understand. This is my resolve and the gospel truth on Church attack.
And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. Mathew 21:13.
The Church of Jesus Christ is a house of prayer for all nations, to bear the spiritual burden of the nation’s, and also encourage hard work and development & not a manufacturing industry.
This is not a religious persecution but rather an attempt by Satan to deviate the purpose of the Church and silence her voice, using human instruments just like in the early days of the Church.
If the early Christian Church was not proactive when King Herod Agrippa executed James (the son of Zebedee and brother of John) with the sword; one of the inner circle of Jesus's disciples and brother of the apostle John, he would have succeeded in killing the entire disciples who were custodians of the gospel of Christ.
This Herod Agrippa, was the grandson of Herod the Great and nephew of Herod Antipas (who beheaded John the Baptist). It was a family affair to destroy the children of God.
Within the same period, Herod also imprisoned the apostle Peter with the intent to execute him next, but Peter was miraculously freed from prison by an angel, because of the effective and fearless prayers of the Church in his lifetime. Acts 12:1-12.
The Church of Jesus Christ is the house of prayer for all nations, to guide the nation and the people through prayers!
When Jesus Christ saw people turning the place of worship into a business center, he chased them away with canes and categorically said “My house is the house of prayer for all nations and not a factory house for innovation and manufacturing of industrial products.
Almost all the developed nations of the world have their foundations built and imbedded in religion’s principle’s, including the Europeans, United Kingdom’s, America’s, Chinese, Middle East countries, Arabia, India and Africa.
Having said that, the Church wholly supports manufacturing, development and innovative researches and practices, the Church has been able to provide excellent quality educational services across the nations and globally.
The truth is while the Church prays for the people and nation’s salvation, gifted hands are stirred by the force of her prayers into actions, opening their minds to creative ideas that resonate with both national and international needs, leading to revolutionary innovations and inventions of new technologies and industrial development, moving the nation from consumption to production;
Creating new jobs and opportunities for the teaming community of people who are working together to build the nation and make it better for everyone and our future generations.
Prayer does not stop the Church or the nation from developing new technologies and innovations, Nehemiah did both while they prayed, they were also building, developing, inventing new tools for building and manufacturing new technologies to improve their work and at the same time being battle ready against the enemies of the nation.
Nehemiah 4:17-23.
Prayer does not stop a nation from development, neither does it make a nation lazy, rather it increases dedication to nation’s building and prosperity.
Daniel, was a very intelligent, intentional, thoughtful prayerful person and yet one of the best leaders amongst his peers in a foreign nation. Daniel 1. and 2. 6:1-28.
The nation’s and the world problem is not because churches are praying too much but because evil people have entered into the system of government, and when the church pray fall and die on those evil people, they will still complain that church is praying for people to die instead of praying for the salvation of their souls and win them over to join the church and become save too.
Truth is, they are people who may never be saved because they may never accept the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Christ himself said in the gospel account of Mathew: 👇
Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. Mathew 12:13-15.
Jesus spoke in parables to the people who had grown spiritually blind and resistant, fulfilling the old prophecy from Isaiah that they would hear with their ears but never truly understand.
Jesus quoted Isaiah prophecy to show that the mob or crowd's failure to grasp the gospel was due to their own stubbornness and dull hearts, which kept them from turning back to God, to be healed.
Let’s come to the Truth of Revival:
Revival itself is a spiritual shake up that resets a people or nation’s to bring them back to its original form;
Haggai 2:6. Hebrews 12:26-27.
God gave this promise to encourage His body the “Church” and builders of his temple, that His power is greater than all earthly kingdoms and nations.
The New Testament Meaning:
In Hebrews 12:26-27, the writer explains that the shaking removes temporary, created things so that an unshakable, eternal spiritual kingdom remains.
The core Message here is that, God holds supreme control over the entire universe, and His divine intervention replaces fading worldly systems with lasting peace and glory through the prayers of the body of Christ (Church).
Be reminded also that we are not praying to a wooden idol, but to the God who created all things, for wisdom upon every citizen and leaders to make our nation better.
Having a faith based system does not make the system weak but rather powerful enough to stop evil in the land. Esther 4:16.
After the fast, Esther approached the king's inner court with remarkable courage, fully trusting God with her life at risk and God granted her request for the Jewish people through the king and a national disaster was overturned because people prayed, after which protest erupted to physically enforce what prayer has already stopped the government from implementing;
And this is where the physical works of faith comes into play when the citizens begin to pay keen attention to God’s intervention in our national affairs.
Then they will begin to understand what is required of them and how to get it done.
Faith without works is dead" James 2:17.
Meaning that genuine religious belief must be followed with helpful actions, by all citizens.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.
From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.
There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.
For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee. Psalms 33:12-22.
Let’s continue to pray as a country; Prayer does not stop development, but enables it.
The people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits" comes from Daniel 11:32.
It means to have a deep Connection with God.
Knowing God means having a personal, intimate relationship with Him, not just knowing facts about Him.
Knowing God personally gives you inner strength to be better, sensitive, bold and outspoken about things that are not right.
True spiritual knowledge brings inner resilience to stand firm against hard times or pressure to do wrong.
An "exploit" is a mighty act or heroic deed that is of great significance.
When people trust God deeply, He works through them to achieve extraordinary things.
This verse was part of a prophetic message given to Daniel about future trials, kingdoms, and a ruler who would try to turn people away from God's covenant.
And it’s about choice; while many people compromised their faith to please the corrupt ruler, those who truly knew God stayed brave and took bold action.
“The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. Proverbs 18:10.
This phrase means that God's character and presence provide absolute safety and protection for anyone or nations who trusts in Him.
In the Bible, a person's name represents their true character, power, and authority.
Hence the name God stands for His love, mercy, strength, and faithfulness.
In ancient times, a stone tower was a high, safe place. People ran inside it to hide when enemies attacked or when a storm raged.
The Righteous are people or nations who have a right relationship with God and put their faith in Him.
If not for the fervent prayer of the righteous (Church) all the wicked and selfish politicians in this country would have succeeded in destroying this country completely but for the sake of the righteous, Nigeria 🇳🇬 is still striving!
Stop calling the attacks on the Church a sanitizing persecution, No it is not;
God knows how, where and when to chastise his people if the need arises.
Sometimes God can involve a government to cob the excesses of radicals but He will never use or allow a group of mischievous men or God hating individuals who despise his Church to do so.
From time immemorial and all through the scriptures, whenever persecution arises against the people of God, they first went to God in prayers before going into war against the enemy to reclaim back their territory.
Prayer has helped stabilize so many people mentally in this country during this trying times and difficult period.
I’m Sorry, but Satan can never stop the Church from praying to our God for the betterment of our country for us and our future generations, while also engaging aggressively in national development. May God find faith in the earth when comes. (Luke 18:1-8).
O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. Psalms 65:2.
All flesh shall come to him, including the ones who truly repents because he answers prayers.
May the LORD answer our collective and individual prayers for our nation and for ourselves and our children and loved ones, as the month comes to an end and as the new month begins and beyond, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33.
