Welcome To October, Our Covenant Month Of The Holy Spirit
John 16:5-7 NKJV
[5] “But now I go away to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’ [6] But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. [7] Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.
Nothing is as encouraging, strengthening, & fulfilling as knowing & understanding who you're dealing with. Conversely, nothing is as frustrating, disturbing, & discouraging as dealing or relating with a stranger. Suffice it to say that the greatest undoing of some believers is to journey or keep company with someone they don't know or understand. Knowing & understanding someone engenders trust, courage, boldness, & confidence. A walk with God is said to be exciting & fulfilling when the person of the Holy Spirit is known & understood.
What you know & understand is directly proportional to what you can do & how far you can go. So the question is who's the Holy Spirit? Simply put, the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity - Father, Son, & the Holy Spirit. In Christian community, we believe that the Holy Spirit is not merely an impersonal force but as divine & personal. He's described as a divine, living person who possesses the attributes of God & actively guides, comforts, & transforms believers. He's eternal; that's He has no beginning or end - Heb. 9:14.
Omnipresent: The Holy Spirit is present everywhere at all times - Ps.139:7
Omniscient: The Holy Spirit knows all things & searches the depth of God - 1Cor. 2:10
Omnipotent: The Holy Spirit possesses all-powerful, creative energy - Ps.33:6
Beloved, our primary focus this month is intimacy with the Holy Spirit, deeper relationship with Him & intentional spiritual awakening. I trust God for bring revival to you & cause shake off spiritual fatigue or tiredness.
Therefore, I urge all & sundry to take this month seriously as there'll be several encounters that'll birth fulfilment of prophecies over our lives, reposition & prepare us for the last quarter visitation & settlement. I decree you won't be distracted in Jesus Christ name. Congratulations & welcome on board!!!
