THE MINDSET AND LIFESTYLE OF A FOOL

A fool abandons, denies and looks away from his true reality because he cannot live up to the responsibility and accountability that such reality demands. He would rather create a pseudo reality for himself that is not taskful. One that is zero demanding and especially illogical. And he could dwell there for the rest of his life.

It is usually difficult to reach and reason with the fool because of the illogical and pseudo reality they live in. If you know or live with one, just don't bother yourself further. If they ever learn, they learn from themselves. And if they ever change, it is at the end of their time.

A fool never differentiates between yesterday and today, neither does he differentiate between the present and the future. Everyday and everything are all alike in the delusional eternity-life of a fool (2 Pet 3:4).

Be responsible! Be accountable! Be approachable!

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, help me to face my challenges with knowledge and diligence; cause me to overcome them all with fath and grace (Heb 4:16, 11:6) in Jesus' Name!.

Welcome to the favours and blessings of God for His people in the second half of the year: Welcome into the month of July, 2023. Remember that God is completely available to you (Isaiah 1:8, Rev 3:20). This is a fact that you should know and acknowledge in your thoughts and actions (Jer 9:24, Rom 1:21). Before you ask Him to do something for you, always remember to, first of all, ask Him what He requires of you (Deut 10:12, Mic 6:8, Acts 9:6). What does He require of you in that relationship, marriage, family, neighbourhood, school, campus, hostel, lodge, classroom, office, position, workplace, church, society and nation. What does He want you to do with that money and property? Never forget that God is the supreme ruler, preserver and controller of the universe, and you in particular (1 Chr 29:11-12, Ps 66:7-9). You should know that God knows exactly what you need in order to grow, prosper and succeed from where you are at this very moment. Trying to do it all by yourself is rebellious and destructive (Lk 12:20).

Job 22:29 "When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person." It's the seventh month today, enjoy perfect peace and prosperity! A Glorious New Month to you!

The Church is unstoppable because the builder is divine (Matt 16:18-19). New and growing Chritian Churches are presently facing one great challenge: the majority of the people who come to Church come to seek financial help. This is because some other strange churches have placed financial help as a motivating factor. The good news of salvation which emphasises the prosperity of the spirit, soul and body of the Christian believer has been narrowed down to financial aids and grants. This has made it very difficult for new Christian Churches to grow.

However, there is a new Church in the city of Port Harcourt that has been growing consistently despite this challenge. And that Church is CITY OF HEAVEN INT'L CHURCH (The Place of God's Presence). Come and thank the Lord with us for this great miracle as we mark our 1st anniversary. There shall be a great release of God's blessings, favour and peace! Be part of it!

The entire Bible in one word - LOVE (Matt 22:36-40). The entire Bible in one sentence - "Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore." Ps 37:27. You do not understand the Bible because you have not given yourself to its study. And you have not given yourself to its study because you do not know the promises, rewards and benefits you have in it. Take time to study the Bible, understand what is required of you and do it, that it may be well with you (Micah 6:8).

Dear Church member,

Be devoted to God in your heart, and be committed in your sevice to the local Church where you worship and hear the Word of God. Do not be a breach of love and unity in your Church.

Give your offerings, bring your tithes, pay your vows, and do your work in the unit or department where you belong. You cannot be a member of a Church and not belong to any service group in that Church. God takes record and cares for every true member of a Christian Church (Rev 11:1). In the same vein, you cannot be a member of a Church and not contribute to the financial running of the Church. Your financial contribution to the Church opens a financial channel from you to God (2 Cor 9:6).

If you desire God's blessings in this world, and everlasting life in the world to come, then you must be rightly planted in a local Christian Church in love and unity. For it is in your fellowship and commitment to the vision and mission of that Church that you share in God's blessings and inherit everlasting life (Ps 133:1-3). Be a bond of love and unity in your Church!

ADVANCEMENT IN SCIENCE AND SIN

Sin absolutely corrupts the human mind, and a corrupt mind is ruthlessly sinful. The world is advancing in science and technology alongside sin and its effects. That is not good advancement! True advancement is that which comes alongside the remedy of sin in man, and its effects on society. And that will only be when all humanity will begin to call upon the name of the LORD (the Creator and preserver of the world), and to seek His favour for true advancement. Any other world advancement not preceded by spiritual advancement (growth in spiritual knowledge) is a global delusion of the highest order.

Stop the trail of violence and murder in our homes, families, neigbourhoods, communities, and in the world at large. Have respect for and be humbled by the moral order the great Creator has woven into the fabric of the world. It's not a free world without restrictions and regulations! It's a probationary world ruled by eternal laws and principles ( Ps 7:14-16, Prov 11:17-21, Is 3:9-11, Gal 6:7-8). Accept Jesus Christ today as the Lord and Saviour of the world (Jn 3:14-21, 31). Believe that only Him can save you from the dominion of sin and its consequences ( Acts 4:12-12, Rom 1:16-17).
