How does the Holy Spirit make Himself visible to an average Christian?
The Holy Spirit makes Himself visible to a Christian primarily through the Teaching Ministry.
JHN.14:26. But the Comforter, who is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My Name, shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
1JHN.2:27. But the anointing which you have received of Him abides in you, and you need not that which any man teach you. But as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth and is no lie, and even as it had taught you, you shall abide in Him.
JHN.16:13. Howbeit when He the Spirit of truth is come, He will guide you into all truth, for He (the Holy Spirit) shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will show you things to come.

JHN.3:1-8. As the Holy Spirit came upon Mary and as the Power of the Highest overshadowed her and the WORD became flesh in her, so is everyone who is born of the Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit that convicts a sinner.
It is the Holy Spirit that comes upon a sinner and convicts the sinner of his /her sins. When he repents and accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour, it is the Holy Spirit that turns him/ her into another man – a child of God; who turns into the man that God uses.

The Holy Spirit of promise is the person that Jesus Christ promised to send to us, to do the work of the kingdom through us.
The Holy Spirit is the only source of power ordained by God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit, for the disciples of Jesus Christ on earth. God never expects that we the disciples of Jesus Christ, sons and daughters of the Most High God to operate by any other power but by the power and person of the Holy Spirit.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the pattern. We disciples of Jesus Christ are to model after Jesus Christ. He is the perfect model.
