“But one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.” – Philippians 3:13 (NKJV)

This year doesn't have to be built with yesterday’s regrets or last season’s failures.

God invites you forward. Lighter, wiser, and unburdened. Let go of what was, and step into what He is doing now. Step into delight.

Happy New Year

Some gifts fade before the wrapping paper is cleared. The songs end, lights go down, and what once felt exciting quickly feels ordinary. Yet the birth of Christ was a gift that never fades.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son” (John 3:16, NKJV).

That baby in the manger was not just a moment in history, He was God’s eternal plan for redemption unfolding.

Isaiah foresaw it: “For unto us a Child is born… and the government shall be upon His shoulder” (Isaiah 9:6). Revelation calls Christ “the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world” (Revelation 13:8).

The manger pointed forward to the cross, showing that this gift was never meant to entertain or impress, but to save and restore.

While celebrations come and go, His gift continues to forgive, transform, and uphold life. In a season full of temporary joy, Christ remains a gift that keeps giving: timeless when everything else ages. Powerful when you feel weak. Personal when you feel forgotten. Salvation wrapped in swaddling bands.

He's still waiting. Will you embrace Him today?

Did You Know?

The Sabbath sits quietly in the middle of the most important weekend in salvation history. When Christ died on Friday, Scripture says His followers “rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.” Even in their grief, they kept the same seventh-day Sabbath Jesus Himself kept throughout His life.

And when He rose on Sunday morning, the Bible never records Him changing that rhythm, His resurrection didn’t abolish the Sabbath; it affirmed that God’s law stood firm even through the crisis of the cross.

It’s profound: while Jesus rested in the tomb, creation’s original rest day became the backdrop of redemption. The Sabbath was the pause between the price paid and the victory revealed.

“And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.” – Luke 23:56 (KJV)

Happy Sabbath!
Rest in the same peace that held the world still between the cross and the empty tomb.

In today’s world, it’s easy to confuse correction with condemnation. Many quote “Do not judge” to silence any form of rebuke, but Christ’s words in Matthew 7:1–2 were never meant to end accountability.

They were a warning against the spirit behind it. We are called to correct, but with hearts aware of our own weakness. The same standard we use will be used on us, by both God and man.

Rebuke without love becomes pride; silence in the face of wrong becomes compromise. True judgment, therefore, is measured, firm against sin, gentle toward the sinner.

In a time where everyone wants to expose others, Christ reminds His followers to restore rather than destroy. Before pointing a finger, we must first let the Word search us. Only then can correction reflect heaven’s justice: truth spoken with mercy, never pride disguised as righteousness.

We live in a culture where the calendar dictates our worth. Meetings, deadlines, side hustles; life never pauses. But here’s the catch: when you’re stretched thin, God often gets pushed to the margins.

Martha knew that struggle. Luke 10:40–42 (KJV) paints the scene: she was “cumbered about much serving,” while Mary sat at Jesus’ feet. Martha thought she was productive; Jesus said she was distracted. “One thing is needful…” He reminded her.

Notice that Jesus did not scold Martha for working. Service matters. Effort matters. But work without worship leaves you drained. Psalm 46:10 (KJV) calls us, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Stillness fuels the strength to handle the busyness.

So, too busy for God? That’s like running on empty. Your career, goals, and service shine brighter when they flow from time spent with Him. Balance begins at His feet.

Happy New Month! 🎉
May this new season bring you fresh strength, joy, and peace. ‘The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.’ — Psalm 121:8 (KJV)

People don’t usually ask it out loud, but it lingers in the back of the mind: “What if I start strong in faith, but end up lost?” The question cuts deep, "Can I lose my salvation?"

Jesus warns, “If a man abide not in Me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered.” — John 15:6 (KJV). Salvation is about abiding, not a one-time handshake with heaven.

The writer of Hebrews echoes it: “Take heed… lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.” — Hebrews 3:12 (KJV). In other words, walking away is possible.

So, can I lose my salvation? Not accidentally, but by choice. You can’t slip out of Christ’s hand, but you can choose to walk out.

Here’s the hope: “Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling…” — Jude 24 (KJV). If you cling to Him daily, He’ll never let you go.

Hold on a little longer, help is on the way 🎶

Ever heard someone say, “Christianity is just a white man’s religion”? Let’s fact-check that. Jesus wasn’t European—He was a Jew from the Middle East. And the first convert recorded after the resurrection? An African! Acts 8 tells us about the Ethiopian eu**ch who believed and was baptized right there on the road (Acts 8:27–39).

From the beginning, God’s promise to Abraham was bigger than one tribe: “In you all the families of the earth shall be blessed” (Gen. 12:3 ESV). That blessing wasn’t designed to fit neatly into a Western box, it was for the whole world.

Fast forward to the end of time: John saw “a great multitude… of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues” (Rev. 7:9 KJV) worshipping together before the throne.

So no, Christianity isn’t the property of one race. It’s Heaven’s invitation to every nation, including yours.
